1. She’s A Body Positive Advocate

Pring has become a body-positive icon throughout her career. She opened up about wanting to change the way curvy models and bodies are viewed with Cosmopolitan. “I prefer ‘curvy’ honestly,” she says. “Plus-size feels outdated and no one thinks of it in a positive way. It’s always got this sort of stigma attached to it. I’d like to do away with that.”
2. She Found Confidence

In an essay with Redbook, Pring opened up about how she found confidence in her teens. “It wasn't until I found basketball that I began to feel confident and comfortable in my body. I felt proud to be the tallest girl on the court. My arms were long and helped me dominate on defense. My legs were strong and allowed me to jump higher and run faster. My size and strength were major assets as I defended the ball from opponents. Through playing this sport, I realized how powerful and strong I was, how my body allowed me to be great at something.”
3. She Does Workouts She Enjoys

For Pring, fitness is all about doing what she loves. She opened up about her process to POPSugar. "I just began to start taking little steps towards a healthier lifestyle,” Pring explains. “And really just focusing on the kinds of activities and fitness things that I liked. I really started letting my body just naturally become what it wanted to become in a way that I really, really enjoyed."
4. She Works Out When She Can

Pring has a busy schedule, however, she makes sure to still workout on a regular basis. She shared her process in her Redbook essay. “As my modeling career was taking off, I quickly realized I couldn't continue to make basketball my priority. Now I make sure to stay strong by working out often and shooting hoops whenever I get the chance.”
5. She Has Support
Pring opened up about her mental health and wellbeing with POPSugar. She says that having supportive people is very helpful. "I think that all added to a healthier mental health. It really just helped me focus on what was important to me, like the friendships that I have, the people that I want in my life, the friendships that I want to continue to cultivate.”
