She Combines Yoga and Pilates

Jasmine likes to do yoga and pilates as a way to stay in shape. "During the lockdown period, I used to work out inside my house," she tells Onmanorama. "A combination of yoga and pilates is my favorite form of workout. It focuses on the mind and the body." "Some of the principles that guide the Pilates method include concentration on each movement, use of the abdomen and low back muscles, flowing movement patterns that are precise and a steady and controlled breathing. Depending on the exercise, Pilates routines can be performed on specially-designed apparatuses, including a bed-like structure called a reformer, or on a mat or blanket," says Cleveland Clinic.

She Walks

Jasmine tells Onmanorama that she likes to go outside and walk. "On the days when we are dull, going out for a stroll can bring a huge change. We would look and feel beautiful if we take care of our physical and mental health." "Harvard researchers looked at 32 obesity-promoting genes in over 12,000 people to determine how much these genes actually contribute to body weight. They then discovered that, among the study participants who walked briskly for about an hour a day, the effects of those genes were cut in half," says Harvard Health.

She's Positive

Jasmine always stays positive. She tells Onmanorama that she is working on changing her mindset. "I try to stay away from negativity. Instead, I focus only on things that give me happiness."

She's Independent

Jasmine took a break from acting. During this break, she says that she has become more independent. "I learned how to live without depending too much on others," she says to Onmanorama. "From cooking to managing the finances, I can do everything on my own now."

She Makes Time For Herself

Jasmine tells Times Of India that she values her alone time. "I like people and like talking to them but I need my own space, wherever I am. Even if I'm shooting for a movie, I get back to my space as soon as a shot is over. I don't know whether it's good or bad. But I'm happy in my space, where I get to listen to my kind of music, watch my kind of movies, spend time with my best friends or just sit alone. I have a very good circle of friends, most of whom are from outside films. That space is precious to me."
