1. She Enjoys a Clean Diet

Fox eats a very healthy diet, and avoids processed carbohydrates. "I cut out all bread and those sort of carbohydrates. No crackers, no pretzels, no chips. Nothing unhealthy," she says. "The worst thing I put in my body is coffee, once a day. I don't have any cheat days. But if I did, it would be pizza or cake."

2. She Eats Almonds

Almonds,In,White,Bowl,On,Table.,Almond,Food,Or,IngredientShutterstock

Almonds are one of Fox’s go-to foods for snacks and as part of meals. “Almonds are rich in nutrients that help protect the heart, including unsaturated fatty acids, phytosterols, magnesium, vitamin E, copper and manganese,” says registered nutritionist Nicola Shubrook. “Two research studies in 2012 and 2014 found that including almonds in your diet may reduce the risk of heart disease, specifically in overweight individuals. Further research has shown that almond consumption helps to reduce LDL cholesterol which may, in turn, help to reduce the risk of heart disease.”

3. She Does Circuit Training

Jamie McCarthy/Getty Images

Fox exercises “really hard”, and incorporates weights, cardio, and circuit training into her workout routine. “Try getting in a 30-minute workout five or more days a week that raises your heart rate for the duration of the activity,” says clinical exercise physiologist Erik Van Iterson, PhD, MS. “Or try three, 10-minute workouts, five or more days a week.”

4. She Enjoys Japanese Food

megan-fox-1Megan Fox/Instagram

Fox loves Japanese food, widely considered one of the healthiest cuisines on the planet. “A study by the British Medical Journal found that those who stuck closer to the Japanese dietary guidelines – a diet high in grains and vegetables, with moderate amounts of animal products and soy but minimal dairy and fruit – had a reduced risk of dying early from heart disease or stroke,” says Shubrook. “As their diet is traditionally high in soy and fish this may also play a significant role in reduced risk of cardiovascular disease. The Japanese also have the lowest rates of obesity among men and women as well as long life expectancy.”

5. She Eats Plenty of Salmon

megan-fox-2Megan Fox/Instagram

Fox loves salmon, and incorporates the oily fish into her meals several times a week. “Oily fish plays an important role in dampening the effects of inflammation, which is key to helping manage a number of chronic diseases, including diabetes and cancer,” says registered nutritionist Jo Lewin. “Studies suggest that eating more oily fish like salmon could help lower levels of the markers that indicate inflammation.”

1. She Works Out Twice a Week

Jamie McCarthy/Getty Images

Recently Megan shared an image showcasing her flat abs, captioning it, “I don’t exercise. If God had wanted me to bend over, he would have put diamonds on the floor.” However, she was clearly joking. "I exercise really hard twice a week. I got my ass kicked this morning before I came here! I do bursts of cardio with really heavy weights. Circuit training," she told E! News.

2. She Is Strict About Her Diet

Megan is very strict about what she puts in her body. "I cut out all bread and those sort of carbohydrates. No crackers, no pretzels, no chips. Nothing unhealthy," she told E! News. During an interview with GLAMOUR she ordered gluten-free toast with jam for breakfast.

3. She Doesn’t Cheat

Pizza.Shutterstock

Does Megan ever indulge? Nope. "I don't have any cheat days," she told E! News. "But if I did, it would be pizza or cake."

4. She Doesn’t Drink

"Taurus" Premiere - 2022 Tribeca FestivalTheo Wargo/Getty Images

Megan recently revealed to GLAMOUR that she hasn’t taken a drink in a decade. "I'm always completely sober. I don't even drink a glass of wine. I don't ever smoke. I don't drink coffee. I'm super strict with my diet and I never deviate," she said. "When I was in Costa Rica, somebody described the purpose of alcohol with plant medicine: you use alcohol to extract the essence of a plant. And I thought, 'That is exactly how alcohol makes me feel. As though it is extracting my essence.' Which is why I have avoided it for so long."

5. She Thinks Social Media Is “Evil”

World Premiere Of "Good Mourning"- ArrivalsAxelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic

Megan avoids social media. “I have social media, but I don’t personally use it. I have somebody who posts for me and I decide what I want to say,” she told Glamour, adding, “but I think it’s sinister. I think it’s evil.”

6. She Drinks MGK’s Blood

2022 Billboard Music Awards - ArrivalsAxelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic

Megan confirmed that she does drink the blood of her fiancé, Machine Gun Kelly. “Yeah. So, I guess to drink each other’s blood might mislead people or people are imagining us with goblets and we’re like Game of Thrones, drinking each other’s blood,” she told Glamour. “It’s just a few drops, but yes, we do consume each other’s blood on occasion for ritual purposes only.” She elaborated on her rituals. "I’m much more controlled. I read tarot cards and I’m into astrology and I’m doing all these metaphysical practices and meditations. And I do rituals on new moons and full moons, and all these things. And so, when I do it, it’s a passage or it is used for a reason. And it is controlled where it’s like, ‘Let’s shed a few drops of blood and each drink it.’ He’s much more haphazard and hectic and chaotic, where he’s willing to just cut his chest open with broken glass and be like, ‘Take my soul.’”

7. She Prioritizes Self-Care

Megan explained to Glamour that “self-care is enough quiet time to be able to connect to my super consciousness, my higher consciousness, connect to God, connect to spirit,” adding that she needs it. “And this lifestyle makes it very difficult sometimes. I do feel very lost when I’m not able to do that, so I have to have time to ground myself. And that is being able to do the metaphysical things that I like to do, the spiritual things that I like to do and having silence. I avoid my phone as much as I possibly can all the time, but there are times where I avoid it completely. The same thing with anything that has an LED light in it. And I just go back to what our bodies were made for, which is to be in nature and to be silent within ourselves.”

But you just can't keep that up," Rita told Shape. "With the plan I'm on, you can eat quite a bit as long as you exercise." She starts her day off with two boiled eggs, asparagus, and half a cup of muesli with almond milk. "For lunch, I have chicken or fish with vegetables, and for dinner, I have six to eight ounces of fish with vegetables and half a potato. Plus snacks," she revealed. One thing she doesn't eat? Bread or sugar. "But I'm not starving myself. I used to be like, 'I'm not eating!' Eating isn't the problem, though. It's about what your body needs, and everyone's body is different."

7. Kourtney Kardashian is Into Organic

2021 MTV Video Music Awards - ArrivalsAxelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic

Kardashian hit the VMAs with boyfriend Travis Barker. “Some people know, but I’m crazy obsessed about food,” she once told the Coveteur. “I started going through my pantry last night and it was just making me so angry some of the ingredients that are in some of our snacks. I don’t do my grocery shopping a lot, because I just don’t have time, so I was reading and it looks healthy from the packages, but when you read the ingredients none of it is organic. I’m really into organic. I hate the whole GMO situation.”

That’s game-changing on the body and the mind. I feel like I can conquer the world on the days I work out, and it’s very rewarding," she told People.

Megan Fox is getting in touch with nature via a photo shoot that highlights her feline physique to perfection. Fox, 37, shared pictures of herself posing on a tree branch in a green bikini, against a background of lush green leaves. “The forest is my oldest friend,” she captioned the post. “If this is what a wild animal looks like, I'd let it maul me,” commented partner Machine Gun Kelly. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Fox stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. Cardio, Weights, and No Carbs

White,Birthday,Cake,With,Colorful,Sprinkles,Over,A,Blue,Background.Shutterstock

Fox works hard to stay in shape—and she dodges ultraprocessed carbs. "I exercise really hard twice a week,” she says. “I got my [butt] kicked this morning before I came here! I do bursts of cardio with really heavy weights. Circuit training. I cut out all bread and those sort of carbohydrates. No crackers, no pretzels, no chips. Nothing unhealthy. The worst thing I put in my body is coffee, once a day… I don't have any cheat days. But if I did, it would be pizza or cake."

2. Pregnancy Exercise

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2023 Issue Release Party at The Guitar Hotel at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, Fla.Alberto Tamargo/Getty Images

Fox’s trainer Harley Pasternak says she continued working out throughout her pregnancies, starting with her son Noah in 2012. “We worked out throughout her entire pregnancy,” Pasternak says. “She was a model of health through the whole process. She really educated herself big time and had a great relationship with her physician so she really understood the safe boundaries of how to exercise and eat well during pregnancy. As a result, she knew how active she could be and she was very consistent and didn’t overdo it.”

3. Postpartum Workouts

2023 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue LaunchTaylor Hill/WireImage

Fox bounced back quickly postpartum thanks to a series of sensibly-designed workouts. “We used the exact same exercises as we did pre-baby,” Pasternak says. “We just focused more on the process and adjusted our program to suit her specific needs and limitations. The workouts we did are like all of my other Five Factor workouts. They are five phases: a minimum five minute cardio warm-up, a lower body sculpting exercise, an upper body toning exercise, then an abdominal sculpting exercise, and finally, a five minute cool down. We tried to have her do minimal impact. Post-baby there shouldn’t be a lot of jumping up and down.”

4. Healthy Smoothies

Jamie McCarthy/Getty Images

Pasternak says Fox loves making smoothies at home with seasonal berries, protein powder, and almond milk. "With almond milk being one of the more popular milk alternatives, I'm asked whether almond milk is a good source of calcium quite often," says Amanda Beaver, wellness dietitian at Houston Methodist. "Some organic brands aren't fortified with it, so be sure to check the label and get your calcium through other foods if needed. Better yet, be sure to choose an almond milk brand that is fortified with calcium."

5. Journey of Loving Herself

She might have an incredible, envy-inspiring figure, but Fox says she has suffered from body dysmorphia her whole life. “I have body dysmorphia,” she says. “I don't see myself the way other people see me. There was never a point in my life where I loved my body. There was never ever. When I was little, that was an obsession I had of ‘but I should look this way,’ and why I had an awareness of my body that young, I'm not sure. And it definitely wasn't environmental because I grew up in a very religious environment where bodies weren't even like, acknowledged. The journey of loving myself is going to be never-ending, I think.”

For Hewitt, fitness is all about variety. “I try to switch it up a bit,” she told OK! I’ve been doing pilates, I’ve been doing yoga, I’ve done just plain old walking. I wear 10 pound weights on my ankles while I’m working just so that as I’m moving during the day I’m constantly building muscle. It’s not great for your back but I’m doing it anyway. Over the past few years, Sydney Sweeney has become one of America’s sweethearts with celebrated roles in everything from hit HBO shows Euphoria and White Lotus to big-screen movies Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and Anyone But You. In addition to her impressive acting ability, the star is a total bombshell and has one of the fittest figures in Hollywood. Here are the top 5 habits that help her stay fit at 27.

Water Skiing

Sydney Sweeney arrives to "The Road to the Golden Globes Party"

Sydney has been water skiing since she was a toddler. “The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to ski,” she told Women’s Health. “I remember that whenever we would go by the docks of my grandma’s or my cousin’s house, I’d wave. I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favorite.” How does it help her achieve her amazing body? “It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs—you get tired really fast,” she says. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it is so much fun,” she said.

Morning Workouts

Sydney mixes up her exercise routine, but likes to get workouts over with early in the day. “I like to work out in the morning, so I’ll either go for a run or I’ll go to Solidcore,” says Sydney. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Self-Care

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Strength Training

Mariana relies on old-school strength training to keep her body toned. “Training till failure instead of reps + taking my ab routine up a notch by incorporating weighted exercises,” she wrote about one of her workout tactics. “I can feel my muscles being challenged and am in tune with my movements.” According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills

Other healthy habits? “Prioritizing digestion,” she writes in the same post. “Making sure I get enough fiber & starting off every morning with a juice cleanse. This has helped me feel so much better everyday.” She also gets regular blood work done. “So important to check your levels and know what’s going on in your body routinely! Don’t skip the doc apts, always better to be preventative.”

Hiking

Mariana enjoys hiking. “Elevation therapy,” she captioned a post from one of her fitness adventures. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Building stronger muscles and bones
  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of some respiratory issues

Mariana does reformer Pilates. “POV: Stepping into the prettiest torture chamber,” she wrote across a video of herself at the studio. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Emsculpt NEO

Mariana recently got an aesthetic body treatment, Emsculpt NEO. “I’ve heard all the rage about the benefits to spot reducing fat & toning muscle so I had to give it a try to target those pesky lower abs. It was a 10/10 & a great addition to my workout routine,” she wrote.
