When it comes to her diet, Fox says that she eats pretty healthy, and that she’s not afraid to make sacrifices and cut certain things out. She revealed to E! News that she cut out a lot of certain carbohydrates. "I cut out all bread and those sort of carbohydrates," she said. "No crackers, no pretzels, no chips. Nothing unhealthy. The worst thing I put in my body is coffee, once a day."

5. She’s Not Afraid Of Her Power

Fox has been a sex-symbol since the beginning of her career. And she’s not afraid to show some skin, or be powerful. "Women don't have to be desperate and try so hard," she told Cosmo. "Allow yourself to be strong and powerful and men will be crawling on their hands and knees."

A song can take you right back to where you were when you first heard it. So although it's madness to think the 1990s were more than 25 years ago, you can dip right back in time with this story, a tribute to Shania Twain, Gwen Stefani, the Spice Girls, and other iconic female pop stars from the era. They remain fit and relevant today and here's how.

1. Shania Twain

Shania Twain shared her secrets behind her incredible skin with The Cut. “I exfoliate every day, I wear sunscreen every day, and I use a C complex as well. That’s made a huge difference with my skin. This is going to sound weird, but because I’m traveling so much, I take sugar and a bit of olive oil or any face cream that I’ve got handy, and mix it with a little bit of warm water, and I gently scrub my face. I came up with it myself. It’s very hard to find an exfoliator that I really like. I tried so many. I have tried very fine sand before as well, but it’s a little bit too abrasive. Sugar works well because it softens with a little bit of warm water and it’s not sharp on the skin.”

2. Gwen Stefani

Gwen Stefani started her career in the 90’s as the frontwoman for No Doubt. She’s known for having incredible skin, and shared her secrets with InStyle. "I don't have a huge routine, but I wash my face with some cleanser that takes makeup off. I just recently started using these pads from a dermatologist that takes more makeup off. I cannot believe how much makeup was on there for all those years. I think about [when I was on tour] on a bus, trying to wash my face in that little sink. That's what I did forever!"

3. Mel B

Mel B started her career as Scary Spice from the Spice Girls. She shared some of her wellness secrets with Body & Soul, including her diet secrets. “For me it’s all about moderation. So if my girls want to get a pizza on the weekend, we’re going to get a pizza. I’d go crazy if I denied myself the occasional treat.”

4. Emma Bunton

Attitude Pride Awards 2023Shane Anthony Sinclair/Getty Images

Emma Bunton, aka Baby Spice, was another member of the Spice Girls. She shared her wellness routine in an interview with Good To. “I try to look after myself, stay active and drink lots of water, but I'm not neurotic about it. I don't want to be in the gym when I could be with my kids. One thing I could definitely do with more of though... is sleep!”

5. Victoria Beckham

Before she was a fashion designer, Victoria Beckham was known as Posh Spice from the Spice Girls. Beckham works with trainer, Bobby Rich, to help her stay in shape. “It’s as much mental as it is physical,” Rich tells Vogue about working with Beckham. “Victoria treats training like brushing her teeth–it’s something she wants and has to do and it sets her up for the day. It’s just part of her lifestyle–in fact, I train both of them five days a week, in person. When they’re on the road, it’s remote, five days a week. Nothing changes.”

6. Madonna

Madonna is known as the Queen of Pop. In an interview, she revealed that yoga is one of the secrets behind her amazing body. “You have to take it really slowly,” she said of the workout. “You can’t rush. You can’t skip to the next position. You find yourself in very humiliating situations, but you can’t judge yourself. You just have to breathe, and let go. It is a workout for your mind, your body and your soul.”

7. Christina Aguilera

Christina Aguilera started her career in the 90’s. She has amazing skin, and shared some of her secrets with Vanity Fair. Aguilera says that she makes sure to keep her face hydrated. “Travel can be brutal and dehydrating,” she says. “An ice bath for your face can be a treat, and it can help puffiness and stress from long hours and demanding schedules. It can also help rejuvenate your skin and perk up your mental state!”

Whether they were celebrating Valentine’s Day or just vacationing in Turks and Caicos because it’s a day that ends in y, the celebrities were out in full force this week, a week that for most of us is the dead of winter. Victoria Beckham shared a throwback photo of her and Becks. Nicole Kidman wished her hubby Happy V-Day. Jesse James Decker posed in a swimsuit with her true love. And Nicole Scherzinger dressed for the occasion, in a heart-shaped dress. Read on to see all the ways these celebs stay in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. Jessie James Decker

Jessie James Decker is a mother of three and feels all the better for it. "I feel like I have more energy now and I feel more proud of myself because I had two kids and know I really accomplished something,” she told Self. "Every woman has those days where she nit-picks herself, but I feel like there are not as many as there used to be."

2. Kendall Rae Knight

“When I was first came out it was crazy to just go to the supermarket and get recognized; it just wasn’t something I was used to. But, on the other hand, it opened so many opportunities for me that I just thrived from it. I mean, I came out of the show first after only a week – but myself and my team grabbed the bull by the horns. I was a Boohoo ambassador, I’ve done photoshoots aboard - it’s been non-stop,” she said about becoming famous after Love Island, to Grazia.

3. Nicole Kidman

"I run, ride my bike, do yoga, whatever I can do and wherever I am in the world," she told the Los Angeles Times. "We try to exercise as a family, which makes it much easier to squeeze in among everything else and, of course, much more enjoyable.”

4. Victoria Beckham

Beckham shared her workout of the week, which included strength training. “One strength-training tip: Don't forget to breathe freely when you're lifting the weight. Most people think that they're breathing when they're doing strength-training exercises, but they may be holding their breath. It's important to inhale and exhale fully between each repetition. The key is to avoid straining when holding your breath. You may find it helpful to exhale during the more strenuous phase of the exercise and inhale during the less strenuous phase,” says the Mayo Clinic.

5. Bebe Rexha

Rexha revealed she has felt bad about her weight. "I don't feel good in my skin and when I don't feel good, I don't want to post," she said. "And that's really honestly the reason I haven't been posting in the last year or so as much as I used to." But over the holidays, she shared some kindness about it. "To the person who is feeling down this holiday season, you got this and you will get through," she wrote in a tweet. "Sending you love."

6. Kady McDermott

“I love working out. Actually, in the last lockdown I went a bit crazy, I was doing like five or six sessions a week and I never normally do that, but I just genuinely really enjoyed it. I loved walking my dogs and making sure I have time off my phone. I get such headaches sometimes when I’m on it too much. I like doing little things like having a bath or a face mask, spending time with my friends,” she told Heatworld.

7. Nicole Scherzinger

Nicole is a protein eater, often starting the morning with eggs. "Eggs are an inexpensive source of protein, but they have many more nutritional attributes. Eggs are packed with B vitamins and vitamin D; in fact, whole eggs contain 6% of your daily intake of vitamin D which is difficult to find in food products," Meghan Sedivy, RD, LDN, Fresh Thyme Market's Corporate Registered Dietitian and Health & Wellness Strategy Manager, tells our sister site Eat This, Not That!. "Vitamin D helps with calcium absorption as well as bone and immune health."

Recently Megan shared an image showcasing her flat abs, captioning it, “I don’t exercise. If God had wanted me to bend over, he would have put diamonds on the floor.” However, she was clearly joking. "I exercise really hard twice a week. I got my ass kicked this morning before I came here! I do bursts of cardio with really heavy weights. Circuit training," she told E! News.

2. She Is Strict About Her Diet

Megan is very strict about what she puts in her body. "I cut out all bread and those sort of carbohydrates. No crackers, no pretzels, no chips. Nothing unhealthy," she told E! News. During an interview with GLAMOUR she ordered gluten-free toast with jam for breakfast.

3. She Doesn’t Cheat

Does Megan ever indulge? Nope. "I don't have any cheat days," she told E! News. "But if I did, it would be pizza or cake."

4. She Doesn’t Drink

"Taurus" Premiere - 2022 Tribeca FestivalTheo Wargo/Getty Images

Megan recently revealed to GLAMOUR that she hasn’t taken a drink in a decade. "I'm always completely sober. I don't even drink a glass of wine. I don't ever smoke. I don't drink coffee. I'm super strict with my diet and I never deviate," she said. "When I was in Costa Rica, somebody described the purpose of alcohol with plant medicine: you use alcohol to extract the essence of a plant. And I thought, 'That is exactly how alcohol makes me feel. As though it is extracting my essence.' Which is why I have avoided it for so long."

5. She Thinks Social Media Is “Evil”

World Premiere Of "Good Mourning"- ArrivalsAxelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic

Megan avoids social media. “I have social media, but I don’t personally use it. I have somebody who posts for me and I decide what I want to say,” she told Glamour, adding, “but I think it’s sinister. I think it’s evil.”

6. She Drinks MGK’s Blood

2022 Billboard Music Awards - ArrivalsAxelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic

Megan confirmed that she does drink the blood of her fiancé, Machine Gun Kelly. “Yeah. So, I guess to drink each other’s blood might mislead people or people are imagining us with goblets and we’re like Game of Thrones, drinking each other’s blood,” she told Glamour. “It’s just a few drops, but yes, we do consume each other’s blood on occasion for ritual purposes only.” She elaborated on her rituals. "I’m much more controlled. I read tarot cards and I’m into astrology and I’m doing all these metaphysical practices and meditations. And I do rituals on new moons and full moons, and all these things. And so, when I do it, it’s a passage or it is used for a reason. And it is controlled where it’s like, ‘Let’s shed a few drops of blood and each drink it.’ He’s much more haphazard and hectic and chaotic, where he’s willing to just cut his chest open with broken glass and be like, ‘Take my soul.’”

7. She Prioritizes Self-Care

Megan explained to Glamour that “self-care is enough quiet time to be able to connect to my super consciousness, my higher consciousness, connect to God, connect to spirit,” adding that she needs it. “And this lifestyle makes it very difficult sometimes. I do feel very lost when I’m not able to do that, so I have to have time to ground myself. And that is being able to do the metaphysical things that I like to do, the spiritual things that I like to do and having silence. I avoid my phone as much as I possibly can all the time, but there are times where I avoid it completely. The same thing with anything that has an LED light in it. And I just go back to what our bodies were made for, which is to be in nature and to be silent within ourselves.”

In addition to her impressive acting ability, the star is a total bombshell and has one of the fittest figures in Hollywood. Here are the top 5 habits that help her stay fit at 27.

Water Skiing

Sydney Sweeney arrives to "The Road to the Golden Globes Party"

Sydney has been water skiing since she was a toddler. “The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to ski,” she told Women’s Health. “I remember that whenever we would go by the docks of my grandma’s or my cousin’s house, I’d wave. I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favorite.” How does it help her achieve her amazing body? “It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs—you get tired really fast,” she says. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it is so much fun,” she said.

Morning Workouts

Sydney mixes up her exercise routine, but likes to get workouts over with early in the day. “I like to work out in the morning, so I’ll either go for a run or I’ll go to Solidcore,” says Sydney. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Self-Care

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

She Walks and Hikes

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

It’s you VS you - continue to try, focus on consistency > perfection & you will prevail 🤎 rooting for us all to strengthen our mind & bodies this year,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Strength Training

Mariana relies on old-school strength training to keep her body toned. “Training till failure instead of reps + taking my ab routine up a notch by incorporating weighted exercises,” she wrote about one of her workout tactics. “I can feel my muscles being challenged and am in tune with my movements.” According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills

Other healthy habits? “Prioritizing digestion,” she writes in the same post. “Making sure I get enough fiber & starting off every morning with a juice cleanse. This has helped me feel so much better everyday.” She also gets regular blood work done. “So important to check your levels and know what’s going on in your body routinely! Don’t skip the doc apts, always better to be preventative.”

Hiking

Mariana enjoys hiking. “Elevation therapy,” she captioned a post from one of her fitness adventures. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Building stronger muscles and bones
  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of some respiratory issues

Mariana does reformer Pilates. “POV: Stepping into the prettiest torture chamber,” she wrote across a video of herself at the studio. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Emsculpt NEO

Mariana recently got an aesthetic body treatment, Emsculpt NEO. “I’ve heard all the rage about the benefits to spot reducing fat & toning muscle so I had to give it a try to target those pesky lower abs. It was a 10/10 & a great addition to my workout routine,” she wrote.
