But you just can't keep that up," Rita told Shape. "With the plan I'm on, you can eat quite a bit as long as you exercise." She starts her day off with two boiled eggs, asparagus, and half a cup of muesli with almond milk. "For lunch, I have chicken or fish with vegetables, and for dinner, I have six to eight ounces of fish with vegetables and half a potato. Plus snacks," she revealed. One thing she doesn't eat? Megan Fox, 35, has always been able to hold an audience’s attention, whether she’s running from Transformers or starring in the underrated Jennifer’s Body. Now she’s doing it again, this time in her latest film, Midnight in the Switchgrass, opposite Bruce Willis, Emile Hirsch and Sistine Stallone, and on the cover of the latest Basic Magazine. Read on for her very best fitness and diet tips—and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bikini Photos!

1. She Does This Exact Workout

Megan has done the 5-Factor Workout. “We do 20 repetitions on each upper body, lower body, and abs and cycle through those three exercises nonstop, repeating the circuit four times,” said creater and trainer Harley Pasternak once. Same happened after Fox had her babies: “We used the exact same exercises as we did pre-baby. We just focused more on the process and adjusted our program to suit her specific needs and limitations.” Katy Perry and Rihanna are said to do the same workout.

2. She Eats These Exact Foods

Battle Of Jangsari - Press ConferenceHan Myung-Gu/WireImage

Along with the 5-Factor Workout, Fox has done the 5-Factor Diet. It’s based on sound nutritional principles. You eat five meals a day with five core ingredients in each recipe, including proteins like egg whites, chicken breasts, salmon and non-fat cottage cheese, with a whole wheat grain component. "Protein is an essential nutrient in many different bodily functions, including fluid balance, enzyme production, and tissue repair and growth," dietitians tell Eat This, Not That!.

3. She Gave Up Drinking

PUBG Mobile's #FIGHT4THEAMAZON EventRodin Eckenroth/Getty Images

Fox gave up drinking after a particularly memorable night at the Golden Globes, maybe one she’d actually like to forget. "At the Golden Globes they always put those giant bottles of like Moet champagne on the table," Fox said. "I went through...multiple glasses of that,” Fox told Who What Wear. "And now I don't drink and this is why," she said, adding that she got “belligerent.” "I think I got in a lot of trouble for whatever I said on the red carpet at this event," Fox said. "I don't remember why, but I know that I did, you can look that up." (It may have been the time she said she was “on the verge of vomiting.”)

4. She Also Does Pilates

55th Annual Cinema Audio Society Awards - InsideMatt Winkelmeyer/Getty Images

Fox has credited Pilates for her figure. “The objective of the regimen is to achieve a balance between flexibility and strength; increasing muscle size is not a goal,” says the Cleveland Clinic. “In developing his method, Pilates emphasized ‘contrology’ or the science and art of coordinated body-mind-spirit development through natural movements. He combined the eastern approach to exercise (calmness, centeredness) with the western approach (motion, muscle tone and strength) to develop what he considered the ultimate form of fitness: exercise without strain that cultivates power and grace.”

5. She Once Cut Out Carbs

Megan Fox Visits The IMDb ShowRich Polk/Getty Images

"I cut out all bread and those sort of carbohydrates," she told E! Online a few years ago. "No crackers, no pretzels, no chips. Nothing unhealthy. The worst thing I put in my body is coffee, once a day." She added: "I don't have any cheat days," she said. "But if I did, it would be pizza or cake." As well as: "It's like giving up smoking. I gave up smoking cold turkey. I'm one of those people when I'm committed, there's no stopping me. So, I did it and after about a week, it repulses me. Like, there's bread over there and never again would I put that in my body."

Over the past few years, Sydney Sweeney has become one of America’s sweethearts with celebrated roles in everything from hit HBO shows Euphoria and White Lotus to big-screen movies Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and Anyone But You. In addition to her impressive acting ability, the star is a total bombshell and has one of the fittest figures in Hollywood. Here are the top 5 habits that help her stay fit at 27.

Water Skiing

Sydney Sweeney arrives to "The Road to the Golden Globes Party"

Sydney has been water skiing since she was a toddler. “The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to ski,” she told Women’s Health. “I remember that whenever we would go by the docks of my grandma’s or my cousin’s house, I’d wave. I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favorite.” How does it help her achieve her amazing body? “It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs—you get tired really fast,” she says. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it is so much fun,” she said.

Morning Workouts

Sydney mixes up her exercise routine, but likes to get workouts over with early in the day. “I like to work out in the morning, so I’ll either go for a run or I’ll go to Solidcore,” says Sydney. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Self-Care

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

She Walks and Hikes

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Other healthy habits? “Prioritizing digestion,” she writes in the same post. “Making sure I get enough fiber & starting off every morning with a juice cleanse. This has helped me feel so much better everyday.” She also gets regular blood work done. “So important to check your levels and know what’s going on in your body routinely! Don’t skip the doc apts, always better to be preventative.”

Hiking

Mariana enjoys hiking. “Elevation therapy,” she captioned a post from one of her fitness adventures. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Building stronger muscles and bones
  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of some respiratory issues

Mariana does reformer Pilates. “POV: Stepping into the prettiest torture chamber,” she wrote across a video of herself at the studio. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Emsculpt NEO

Mariana recently got an aesthetic body treatment, Emsculpt NEO. “I’ve heard all the rage about the benefits to spot reducing fat & toning muscle so I had to give it a try to target those pesky lower abs. It was a 10/10 & a great addition to my workout routine,” she wrote.
