She Doesn't Exercises
In her 2016 autobiography, Settle for More, Megyn revealed that she doesn't work out. "After I had my children, something had to give, and I gave up on exercise," she wrote.
She Has Mentioned the F-Factor Diet
Megyn is one of the many celebrities who has followed the F-factor diet, outlined in the 2006 book by dietitian Tanya Zuckerbrot. "I started after the birth of my first child, Yates. It took off the baby weight right away," Kelly writes in her book. The diet is heavily focused on maintaining a high fiber intake, which leaves yo feeling full so you eat less. It is also easier to follow, as you add foods instead of eliminating them.
She Struggled with Her Weight As a Kid
Megyn has a history of obesity in her family and struggled with weight in her younger years. "I was chubby, by any standard and soon I found myself on the wrong side of some vicious bullies. Ones who called me fat, and made fun of my backside, who subjected me to humiliating pranks. Those comments can cut deep, trust me, I know," she said on her show. She also admitted to going to dangerous extremes to lose weight, taking diet pills, restricting calories, and "obsessive exercise." However, it left her feeling "so unhappy" at the time.
She Skiis
Megyn goes on regular ski trips with her family. Research has linked downhill skiing to a number of health benefits. In addition to promoting physical fitness, it may decrease risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Studies have also found that the more frequently a person skis, prevalence of known hypercholesterolemia, systemic hypertension, diabetes, the frequency of mental stress and the occurrence of memory deficits declines.
She Eats Nourising Food
Back in 2009 Megyn detailed her diet to Grub Street. She used to start her day with yogurt, egg-white omelets, and lots of vegetables. She also was weary of carbs. "I try to steer clear of the starches because they're the devil," she said.
She Drinks Coffee
Megyn also revealed to Grub Street that she drinks coffee with "cream and half a Splenda." Science continues to prove that drinking coffee is great for your health. In fact, a new 2022 study published in the European Journal of Preventive Cardiology found that drinking two to three cups a day of most types of coffee – especially a mild to moderate intake of ground, instant, and decaffeinated coffee – may protect you from cardiovascular disease and an early death. Researchers found "significant reductions" in the risk for coronary heart disease, congestive heart failure and stroke for all three types of coffee. But, only ground and instant coffee with caffeine decreased risk for arrhythmia, or irregular heartbeat.
