1. She Cut Out Sugar and Simple Carbs
In an interview with Oggi, Hunziker opened up about her health and wellness. She revealed that she eats pretty healthy, and has cut out certain ingredients in her diet. “I avoid sugars and simple carbohydrates. For example, we make bread at home and do not use double zero flour. We eat whole wheat pasta. I am convinced that sugar is a kind of poison for the body and I believe that most of the merit of my health, also of the skin, is due to this choice.”
2. She Spends A Lot Of Time Outside

One look at Hunziker’s Instagram, and you will see that she loves to spend time in the great outdoors. She has posted several photos of herself spending time outside in the fresh air, or of the gorgeous scenery. She has spent time at the beach, went for a hike in the mountains, enjoyed time in the fields, and had a picnic by the lake. Spending time outdoors is great for both your body and your mind. Not only does it give you some physical activity and some Vitamin D, it can also be a great way to de-stress from life.
3. She Takes Care Of Her Skin

Hunziker has incredible skin, which means she takes care of it and has a good skincare routine. She opened up about her skincare secrets to Oggi, saying, “I alternate retinol creams, I periodically do treatments with Hydrofacial, a machinery that purifies the skin and stimulates cell renewal and once a year I undergo autologous cell biogeneration.”
4. She Changed Her Workout Routine

Hunziker revealed to Oggi that she had to make a lot of changes to her fitness after an injury. She said, “Up to 33 years of age I have always done only outdoor sports: skiing, mountain biking, running. But then I sneezed and my back got stuck. It is there that I discovered postural gymnastics which, together with pilates, changed my life, I never had pain again.”
5. She Supports Charities

Hunziker likes to work out, and she also likes to support different charities. Naturally, she decided to combine both of those passions. Hunziker took part in an outdoor charity workout session in Italy. The profits from the event went to the Doppa Difesa organization, which is a charity that helps survivors of domestic abuse.
