1. She Hits the Gym

Millie regularly shares photos of herself working out at the gym. Per Seventeen, in one of her Instagram Stories she perfectly executed knee-to-chest reps, an arm routine, and abwork. "Your core muscles provide stability for the moving parts above and below them — the mid-back, or thoracic, spine that helps you twist and turn, and the hips that move you up, down, back, or forward," explains Marty Boehm, a physical therapist with Harvard-affiliated Brigham and Women's Hospital, to Harvard Health.

2. She Boxes

“It’s not a training workout. I train to box,” Millie told Vulture. “Obviously I don’t want to do it professionally. But I have done some inter-clubs before. It’s at Phoenix MMA U.K., down in London. It’s a great gym, and I have lots of friends. Because I’m homeschooled, I get kind of lonely sometimes. So I like to go to the gym. I do Thai boxing Mondays, jujitsu Tuesdays and Thursdays, and Wednesdays I do boxing with Mark. He was a world champion at one point. I absolutely love it. I actually have a punching bag right outside in my garden. I’m obsessed with working out. I eat like a pig so it kind of makes up for that.”

3. She Doesn’t Enjoy Exercise

Some stars love exercise, but not Millie, who confessed to Glamour UK, that “shockingly” she doesn’t like to work out. “I'm good at working out my face, not good at working on my body,” she said. “I find it important, though, as we all have to be healthy and give our body the exercise it needs.”

4. She Does Love Aerial Silk

“I love aerial silks. It's always been a passion of mine,” she told Glamour UK. “So I find using aerial silks really fun and therapeutic – it gives me a break from the world. And you find art within it. While I was doing it, I thought, gosh, the silks in so many ways represent womanhood: there’s strength, both masculinity and femininity, and you can create poses and shapes that are so different to show your sexuality,” she continued. “It represents so much: you can be big and you can be tiny and you can be afraid of the silk. You can be afraid of the height you are going at. You can be afraid of how low you are. And so it represents a story.”

5. She Also Loves Scuba Diving

Millie loves scuba diving. She captioned a video of herself diving alongside a Nemo-looking fish “bye buddy, i hope you find your dad !” she captioned this image. Putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.

5. She Prioritizes Self-Care

“I personally don't think self-care is a face mask and a hair mask, and that'll solve world issues,” Millie told Marie Claire in a recent interview. “I define it as giving your body, giving your mind, and giving your emotional well-being the time that it deserves and the healing that it deserves. I need to love myself the way that I love others. In turn, that will make me a decent person and a decent friend.”

6. She Goes to Therapy

“I really believe in therapy,” Millie revealed to Marie Claire. “I started working when I was eight and I didn't realize that actually I needed to carve out time for myself. I think that's a pretty roundabout age when you become self aware. I personally became really aware of my body at that age, my face, how many times a day I cried. Things like that, that you don't realize when you're really young. Then, when I was about 15 or 16, I thought, Why have I cried twice this week? Why is that? Let's dig into that. Let's unpack that. What's going on? Therapy really helped me because, now, I've become so self-aware of myself that I can be a good person to others and a good friend.”

7. She Relies on Taylor Swift for Exercise

Millie, who used to meditate, has a great way of relaxing and burning calories. “When I need a minute to myself, I just get on the Peloton and ride. I’m obsessed with the Taylor Swift Collection—that’s the only thing I’ll ride to. Sometimes if it’s a long day and it’s 8 p.m., but I still don’t want to say no, I’ll do a 20-minute ride that’s pretty chill. But if it’s midday and I’m just ready to get it all out, I’ll do a 45-minute ride that’s really hard,” she told Marie Cliare.

8. She Drinks Fruits and Veggies

“I think fruits and vegetables are your best friends,” Millie told Marie Claire when asked about her diet. “I drink a lot of juices and I love kombucha. I used to be crazy about vegetarianism, but I gave up on that because I had to stop filming my last movie. It was such a heavily stunted film. I just needed some muscle. Vegetarianism wasn’t giving muscle to my body in the way that meat could. I needed to feel energized and give my body back what it was exerting throughout the day.”
