She's Responsible When It Comes To Money
After appearing on Love Island, Court's salary increased big time. She tells Fabulous that she went on a shopping spree to celebrate. "I had never spent that much money in one go in my life," she says. Court also says that she is working on saving money for indulgences, rather than blowing it. "I wouldn't say I don't worry about money any more, but I am choosing to be smart and make good investments for my future. I still try to be sensible and save, but I buy a treat for myself once a month."
She Went To A Dermatologist
In a video on her YouTube channel, Court opened up about her skincare routine. She says that she previously struggled with acne and sought help from a medical professional. "I was so upset about my face, and so self-conscious that I needed to do something about it," Court says. "I needed professional help, because what I was trying to find and use wasn't helping. So that's when I had a call with Amanda from Skin Revolution. Call her my skin mom. We had a call together and we went through everything, like my diet and what products I'm using at the moment. Any medication that I was on, like everything, sort of. So I've got a healthcare sheet I had to fill out. And from that then then we would have a, like an in-depth chat and she was able to figure out what it was that was wrong."
She Uses Gentle Skincare Products
When it comes to products, Court says that she uses things that are gentle on her skin. "So my morning routine was the Cleansing Lotion by Environ," she says in her YouTube video. "All this stuff is very good for your skin. It's not like harsh, it's not aggressive on your skin, which was the most important thing that Amanda said. You should never be using anything that stings your face. It should all be very kind to your skin. So this all was very nice to put on. It didn't hurt."
She Asked For Help To Break A Bad Habit
In her YouTube video, Court revealed that she used to pick at her breakouts, which would make them worse. To help her stop, she enlisted her friends and family. "I'd be watching the tele and I'd be picking my face and without even realizing, I had to teach myself to stop like my friends, my family, if they saw me picking, I said, please shout me, tell me to stop. And they were really, really good in that sense. They would help me and be like, 'stop picking'."
She Uses Oils
Court revealed in her YouTube video that she likes to use oils on her face. "I use two different types of oil. A lot of people think that when you have acne or spots that the best thing to do is dry out. When actually, in fact you are drying out your skin, putting your skin in panic mode and it thinks it's like, you know, suffocating. Like it's not got all of the natural oils and stuff that should be in your face. So it starts to overproduce to make that, which then leads to a really, really oily face. So you're actually making it worse. So what you actually have to do is provide your face with the oils that it needs, and it's actually less oilier. So it seems bizarre to put oil on your face if you've got oily skin, but that is what your skin needs. So it doesn't produce as much."
