1. Exercise For Mental Health

Mackintosh works out for both the physical and mental health benefits. “As a mum it's more important than ever to look after myself and my health, I want to have as much energy as possible to keep with my soon-to-be toddler,” she says. “I don’t have as much time to workout as I used to but I try to do some form of exercise 3-4 times a week, it's so beneficial for my mind just as much as my body.”

2. Scrambled Eggs For Breakfast

EE British Academy Film Awards 2022 - Red Carpet ArrivalsSamir Hussein/WireImage

Mackintosh enjoys scrambled eggs with buckwheat toast in the mornings. “Whole eggs are nutritionally rich, supplying almost every nutrient you need,” says registered nutritionist Jo Lewin. “They are useful sources of some of the hard to get nutrients like vitamins D and B12 as well as the mineral iodine. Eggs are regarded as a ‘complete’ source of protein as they contain all nine essential amino acids, which we must obtain from our diet. Furthermore, if you choose brands enriched with omega-3 fatty acids, due to the diet the chickens are fed, you’ll benefit from higher omega-3 fatty acids as well as fat soluble vitamins such as vitamins A and E.”

3. Weights and Resistance Bands

Boodles Boxing BallDave Benett/Getty Images

Mackintosh incorporates weights and resistance bands in her workouts. “I try to do 3 sessions with a PT with light weights and resistance bands to help strengthen and tone, and I like to do one barre or Pilates session a week, which is great for my back pain, alignment and posture,” she says. “Having some 'me time' when I can switch off from being a mum, put on some good music and get my heart rate going always gives me a mental and physical boost and I never regret doing it.”

4. Meditation Before Bed

"La Vie Est Belle Celebration" By Lancome : Photocall - Paris Fashion WeekPascal Le Segretain/Getty Images

Mackintosh always makes time for meditation before going to bed. “There are different types of meditation to accomplish different aims, so the best meditation for you will be one that fits your goals,” says Deepak Chopra, MD, FACP. “Almost every meditation practice will bring you greater peace and relaxation, so if that is your primary aim, then a simple breath awareness meditation is fine.”

5. Pilates

Mackintosh loves the positive health benefits of Pilates. “I really recommend Pilates to everyone but especially new mums, it really helped me during my last pregnancy and is great for rebuilding your core and pelvic strength,” she says. “Don’t put too much pressure on yourself, take it slow and use apps for encouragement. Couch to 5k is great if you want to get into running but don’t know where to start. Most importantly: do something you enjoy, otherwise you will dread it and it will be much harder to keep it up.”

Millie Court is getting some sun! The Love Island star shows off her sensational figure in her latest Instagram post, wearing a yellow and orange swimsuit. “Vitamin sea,” she captioned the series of social media snaps. How does the reality star maintain her fabulous physique? Read on to see 6 ways Millie Court stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Was “Unhealthily Skinny” On Love Island

Following her debut on Love Island, Millie ended up gaining weight. Her followers accused her of being pregnant, and she responded by revealing that she was actually healthy. "[In] the weeks leading up to Love Island, I felt the need to lose several pounds because I knew I was going to be surrounded by beautiful, slim girls. I worked out every single day and ate salad for lunch and to tell you the truth I was miserable while doing it,” she said in a post. "I went from a size 10 to a six, and it’s the smallest I’ve ever been as a young adult. Because of my height, this made me look unhealthily skinny, of which I was (not eating barely anything, feeling ill all the time, tired, dizzy) and I remember looking at myself, I’d lost my ... curves I once had and I missed them."

2. She Embraces Her Body

ITV Palooza! 2021 - ArrivalsJeff Spicer/Getty Images

In the same post, Millie encouraged her millions of followers to love themselves. "We're all different shapes and sizes, each size perfect in our own way. But please don't get stuck to the beauty standard of 'perfection'," she said. "Loving our imperfections can be difficult, but when you learn to embrace them and realise that our imperfections don’t define us, they are just a part of us alongside everything that creates you as a person."

3. She Battled Acne

Pride Of Britain Awards 2021 - Red Carpet ArrivalsGareth Cattermole/Getty Images

Millie has also been open about her skin struggles. "I suffered from acne about a year and a half ago and then I started to work with a skin aesthetician, who helped me to find my skincare routine and helped me to start dealing with the breakouts. Now that my acne has gone, we are on more of a journey to find the right products; doing treatments like microneedling once a month to deal with the scarring. I am so happy with the outcome because the difference from what it was to now is just incredible,” she told Hello. “I genuinely used to think there was never going to be a time when I could get rid of the acne and I think when you are suffering you think it’s going to be with you forever. Don’t get me wrong, it isn’t an overnight process – it took me a year and a half to be acne free, but through a good skincare routine and using the right products it can be combated. My skin aesthetician advised me that the products you use to treat acne don’t start working for 4-6 months, so it took six months before I started to see a difference. The secret to good skin is also about good lifestyle, it’s all about looking after the inside to make your skin glow."

4. She Takes Baths

One way Millie prioritizes self-care? She takes baths. "Drowning my sorrows in the bath because my Met Gala invite got lost 💔…," she captioned this Instagram snap. Not only have hot baths been linked to better sleep and even found helpful to minimize anxiety and depression, but one recent study found that they may even boast cardiovascular benefits.

5. She Cheats

Millie might eat healthy most of the time, but she is always down for the occasional cheat meal. “Last stop in LA,” she captioned this photo of herself standing outside of SoCal’s famous In-N-Out Burger.

6. She Hikes

Want to get into shape like Millie? Take a hike! “Obligatory Hollywood sign pic wearing all @puma,” she captioned this snap from one of her excursions.

BBC host and Celebrity Karaoke Club winner Scarlett Moffatt is enjoying time in gorgeous Dubai. And some of her time is spent in a hot tub, according to her latest Instagram post. Moffatt posed in a hot tub on the roof of her hotel, looking stunning. She captioned the post, “When people go to Dubai normally their pics are so instagrammy & they look sexy. We didn’t worry whether our photos looked like we had a good time, we just had a good bloody time.” Hows does the I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! winner stay in shape? 1. She Wants to Put Out a Realistic Body Image

Moffatt once put out her own fitness DVD, however, she is realizing that it might not have helped others or herself. In an interview with Frankie Bridge, Moffat denounced the DVD, revealing that it was bad for her mental health. "Not only were they bad for my peace of mind, it wasn't really good for other people because now I look like my before picture again," she said. "I sort of rebelled against it because I just didn't like how it happened and I just wasn't for it anymore. I purposefully started putting weight on. I was sort of like, 'If I get big again, it can't get brought up'. I can't have this stigma attached to me about this DVD and people will stop buying it.”

2. She Cut Out Unhealthy Food

National Television Awards 2019 - Red Carpet ArrivalsKarwai Tang/WireImage

Moffatt told Bridge that the real reason for her weight loss wasn’t extreme dieting or workouts, it was just making simple changes to her diet. "I think people thought I had been walking and rambling up mountains for six months but it wasn't. I genuinely did just do those exercises but obviously I had to cut out a lot of food from what I was normally eating.”

3. She Allows Herself To Enjoy Indulgences

Virgin Media British Academy Television Awards 2019 - Red Carpet ArrivalsKarwai Tang/WireImage

While Moffatt did lose weight due to cutting out indulgences, she admits that she still enjoys them once in a while. “I’m a proper foodie and I could never do a fad diet,” she tells Closer. “I’ve just cut down to one Greggs pie a week, and instead of a king-size Snickers bar, I’ll have a normal size one.”

4. She Goes Hiking

One of the ways Moffatt stays active is by going on hikes. She posted this stunning photo of herself walking up a hill, the gorgeous beach scenery in view. She revealed in the caption that her recent self-confidence has inspired her to go on more hikes, saying, “After finally getting to a stage where I love my body, I’m now wanting to love the inside of it a bit more and make the insides fitter by doing more cardio. I mean I think this picture sums up the quote ‘all the gear, no idea.’”

5. She’s Confident In Herself

Attitude Awards 2019 - Red Carpet ArrivalsNick England/WireImage

Moffatt is all about body-positivity, self-love, and self-confidence. She posted this photo on Instagram of herself jumping into the ocean off a boat, where she reminded her followers to love themselves, and not let doubt take over their minds. She wrote in the caption, “Don’t let your mind bully your body. Don’t ever worry so much about your physical appearance, that you let it stop you doing something you love, or from having fun, or from seeing friends or family, or trying to find love. Don’t think ‘aww I’ll do that once I look a certain way.’ Because YOU my friend are bloody PERFECT just as you are RIGHT NOW.”

Love Island winner Millie Court knows how to take the perfect picture and she’s showing off her skills on social media. The British star posted a series of photos of herself wearing an animal print bikini as she posed by the pool in a luxury villa. “All about the angles and pose gals… 🤪😂,” she captioned the post. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Court stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. Fresh Orange Juice To Start the Day

Court loves to indulge in a glass of freshly-squeezed orange juice to kick start her day. “Oranges contain health-promoting compounds known as flavanones,” says registered nutritionist Nicola Shubrook. “Research suggests that these phytochemicals help support the body and protect us from conditions such as heart disease and cancer – they’re also thought to have anti-inflammatory, antiviral and antimicrobial benefits. What’s more, orange peel actually contains higher amounts of certain nutrients than the flesh, so using recipes that incorporate the zest of an orange will give your diet an extra boost.”

2. Meghan Markle Is Her Makeup Inspiration

Court is inspired by Meghan Markle’s “flawless” skin and makeup, and tries to emulate her natural aesthetic. “Meghan Markle, her skin is absolutely flawless – her make-up always looks lovely as her make-up always looks lovely and natural,” she says. “At the moment the make-up I use does change fairly often, not necessarily my staples like concealer and foundation, but I do switch up the bronzers, blushers and mascara that I use. My staple foundation is Too Faced, but I do switch between Fenty and L’Oreal Infallible. For Concealer I use Revolution or Nars Cream Concealer. I also use Nars blusher, Benefit Hoola Bronzer and Mac Blusher.”

3. She Is True To Herself

Court is now a household name—but she stays down-to-earth. “Obviously, life has just really changed,” she says. “I've realized how important it is to have your friends and family close. Coming out and seeing the papers and people's opinions, I think everyone could see I was genuine in there and just really normal. I love to laugh, I love a drink – I'm a true Essex girl and I think people could see that. So, no matter what happens, I just want to make sure that Essex is still inside me, that I stay true to myself and just enjoy what is happening at the moment!”

4. Dieting Made Her Miserable

ITV Palooza! 2021 - ArrivalsKarwai Tang/WireImage

Court felt under pressure to lose weight before going on TV, something she now regrets. “I’ve always been [before Love Island] fluctuating between a size 8 and 10, but most of the time a size 10,” she says. “I was so happy with the way I looked, I didn’t think twice about it. On the weeks leading up to Love Island I felt the need to lose several pounds because I knew I was going to be surrounded by beautiful slim girls. I worked out every single day and ate salad for lunch and to tell you the truth I was miserable whilst doing it. I’d changed whilst I was on the show for several reasons that’s probably for another story time. But I went from a size 10 to a 6, and it’s the smallest I’ve ever been as a young adult. Because of my height, this made me look unhealthily skinny, of which I was (not eating barely anything, feeling ill all the time, tired, dizzy etc) and I remember looking at myself, I’d lost my boobs and my bum and those curves I once had and I MISSED them.”

5. She Loves Her Curves

Court put on weight after leaving Love Island, and couldn’t be happier with her new curves. "There was a point where people thought I was pregnant because I was putting on loads of weight," she says. "When I was on Love Island I was a size 6 but now I’m a size 10. But I prefer me as a 10 because I’ve got my [chest] back, I’ve got my bum back and I’ve got curves. So, I don’t really care what the newspapers have got to say about me being a size 10."

Mark Wahlberg isn’t slowing down in his 50s—if anything, he’s more shredded than ever. The actor, producer, and fitness enthusiast has built a reputation for his intense workouts and disciplined diet. In a recent TikTok, he gave fans a sneak peek at what’s fueling his muscle gains, from protein-packed meals to superfoods that keep him energized. In his TikTok, Wahlberg is seen enjoying eggs with sausage. According to University Hospitals, eggs have a lot of health benefits. “At 70 calories each, eggs are a stellar protein source and a nutritional powerhouse. When eaten as part of a balanced diet, eggs provide multiple health benefits and are unlikely to pose a risk for heart disease.”

He Eats Salmon

Wahlberg is also seen enjoying salmon. The Mayo Clinic states that salmon has a lot of benefits. “Seafood in general, and salmon in particular, is a good choice for protein in the diet. If you can use salmon in place of a higher fat meat, that's even better. Salmon is probably best known for its omega-3 fatty acids. Called EPA and DHA, these fats may support heart health, brain function and healthy joints.”

He Likes Lemon Juice

Wahlberg is seen enjoying lemon juice in his TikTok. St. Vincent’s Medical Center states that lemon is very beneficial. “Weight-loss studies have also noted the effects of lemon. Drinking lemon water, which keeps you hydrated, increases your metabolism. One glass burns at least six calories. It can also help you feel full, making it easier to resist an urge to snack.”

He Likes Olive Oil

Another thing that Wahlberg is seen eating in his TikTok is olive oil. According to The Cleveland Clinic, olive oil has a lot of health benefits. “EVOO contains more than 20 types of polyphenols, a category of plant-based chemical compounds that help protect your heart and reduce inflammation throughout your body. Polyphenols are a type of antioxidant.”

He Gets Enough Protein

Protein is a big part of Wahlberg’s diet. He is not only seen eating high-protein foods like eggs and salmon in his TikTok, but he is also seen eating protein bars and powders. Piedmont states that protein is extremely important. “Protein is an important building block of bones, muscles, cartilage and skin. In fact, your hair and nails are composed mostly of protein. Your body uses it to build and repair tissue.”

He Eats Blueberries

Wahlberg is also seen enjoying blueberries in his TikTok. The Cleveland Clinic states that blueberries have a lot of benefits. “Because blueberries are high in fiber and lower in sugar when compared to other fruits, they don’t cause your blood sugar to spike. For people with certain health conditions, scientists suspect this positive effect could aid with blood sugar management.”

Rita Ora isn’t just a chart-topping singer and TV star—she’s also serious about staying fit. Whether she’s lighting up the stage with hits like Black Widow or guessing contestants on The Masked Singer, Ora makes sure to carve out time for the gym. In a recent Instagram post captioned "Come to the gym with me," she gave fans an inside look at her workout routine, and it’s packed with powerhouse moves. From treadmill runs to Pilates, here’s exactly how she keeps her body in top shape.

She Strength Trains

Ora is seen using dumbbells and a weighted shoulder press machine in her Instagram video. Both of these are considered strength training exercises. The Mayo Clinic says that strength training has a lot of benefits. “Strength training may enhance your quality of life and improve your ability to do everyday activities. Strength training can also protect your joints from injury. Building muscle also can contribute to better balance and may reduce your risk of falls. This can help you maintain independence as you age.”

She Runs On The Treadmill

Rita snaps a selfie on the treadmill

The first thing Ora does at the gym is run on the treadmill. Healthy Talbot states that this has a lot of benefits. “Jogging or running on a treadmill helps to lose weight as well as burn fat quickly and effectively. Yet it’s easier on your knees and joints than outdoor running. This is the most popular advantage of working out on a treadmill workouts. Besides, these workouts burn calories at a faster rate than other aerobic exercises. To burn calories even faster, you just need to run longer and faster on the machine.”

She Does Tricep Exercises

Ora is seen doing tricep curls in her Instagram video. Gymless says that all tricep workouts have a lot of benefits. “Our triceps muscles enable us to extend the elbows, and it is a powerful extender of the forearm. Triceps are often used for pushing, which is utilized in our everyday activities such as opening a door, inserting a plug into a socket, or moving furniture across the room.“

She Does Leg Presses

Ora is also seen using the leg press machine in her Instagram video. The Mayo Clinic says that this exercise is very beneficial. “The leg press is an exercise you can do with a weight machine to work a variety of muscles in the lower body. Specifically, the leg press targets the quadriceps muscles in the front of the thighs, the gluteal muscles in the buttocks, the hamstring muscles in the back of the thighs, and the calves, all in an integrated fashion. Since the leg press works several muscles at once, it's an especially efficient way to strengthen your lower body.”

She Does Pilates

Rita Ora on a Pilates reformer

The last workout that Ora is seen doing in her Instagram video is a session on the Pilates reformer. Pilates has a lot of health benefits. The Cleveland Clinic says, “Pilates is a form of strength training, but it doesn’t look like some of the other strength training exercises you might be familiar with. Pilates focuses more on improving muscle tone than building muscles, but the result is similar: greater stability and endurance. Pilates isn’t going to bulk you up — if anything, it’s designed to cultivate a longer, leaner look. Still, it can lay a strong physical foundation for muscle-building activities — and may even reduce your likelihood of injury.”

For Hewitt, fitness is all about variety. “I try to switch it up a bit,” she told OK! Magazine. “I’ve found that if every week I do something different it tricks my muscles into not getting used to doing any one thing. I’ve been doing pilates, I’ve been doing yoga, I’ve done just plain old walking. I wear 10 pound weights on my ankles while I’m working just so that as I’m moving during the day I’m constantly building muscle. It’s not great for your back but I’m doing it anyway. I do a booty workout thing that I just did for Shape, which was really fun. And I do Zumba. I have DVDs and I dance around like a crazy person in my house.”
