Nadia Bartel is a successful model and clothing designer who keeps her followers updated on her wellness and lifestyle. Recently, she shared a photo of herself enjoying a sunny walk on Instagram, captioning it, "Last bit of sunshine before I head home." Bartel's approach to fitness and mental health reflects a balanced, healthy lifestyle. Here's how she stays in shape and keeps a positive mindset.

1. She Does A Variety Of Workouts

Nadia Bartel.1Nadia Bartel/Instagram

Bartel shared some of her favorite ways to stay in shape with WHO. She says that she does a variety of different exercises. “I love Pilates. I have a beautiful Pilates teacher Sara, I have been seeing her for years. I also love to walk with the boys and squeeze in some high intensity weight training. I am always on the go; I get bored if I sit down for too long.”

2. She Has A Positive Mindset

Bartel shared her secrets for maintaining a positive mindset and a good body image with WHO. “I think sometimes it’s only natural to have those little negative thoughts that creep into your head, I know I have had them over the years, but I am lucky that I had a really supportive and balanced upbringing from my mum and dad and the way we looked or what we ate was never a focus. Instead as a family we always kept very active together as we were always outdoors playing every chance we could get. I think that helped to create a positive mindset from a young age.”

3. She Believes In Moderation

Bartel said to WHO that she believes in moderation when it comes to her diet. “I am pretty relaxed with my diet, as I am a big foodie and love eating out at restaurants. I do try to stick to a diet filled with lots of vegetables and protein. I eat a lot of fish and I love tuna. I also live on nuts, eggs and cheese. I also love my carbs and have pasta a couple of nights a week. I really believe in everything in moderation, so you don’t crave anything and binge. I also have a bit of a sweet tooth – soft lollies like Chicos or anything sour is my weakness.”

4. She Raises Awareness

Bartel likes to give back to charities. She tells Women’s Health that breast cancer is a passion for her. “I am so passionate about raising awareness for breast cancer. I have also done some ambassador work with Pink Hope in the past, which do great work in this space. I think we all know of someone that has been affected by breast cancer- it is such a huge issue in Australia and is the second leading cause of cancer related deaths in Australian women.”

5. She Meditates

Bartel revealed to Women’s Health that she likes to practice meditation. “It is so important to remove negative thoughts, stress, worries and anxiety. It has been such a huge difference to my mental health and wellbeing once I started doing it regularly. It can be hard to start, but there are so many apps around like Calm or Headspace which can help.”

NadiaBartel1Nadia Bartel/Instagram

“My diet is very Mediterranean due to my Italian background so I love nuts, olive oil, avocado etc (so good for our skin too). I also try to add a little protein at most meal times,” Bartel says. “'But I am also a massive sweet tooth so if I want lollies or chocolate I will have it, I just try be healthy 80 percent of the time which isn't always the case especially when I'm eating on the go.”

NadiaBartel2Nadia Bartel/Instagram

Bartel is all about building strength and getting toned. “Two mornings a week I try to fit in some exercise,” she tells Women’s Health. “I love Pilates and resistance training. 4. She Eats Lots of Fish

NadiaBartel3Nadia Bartel/Instagram

Bartel’s go-to dinners usually consist of salmon and roast vegetables. “We’ve long been told that fish is ‘brain food’, and there’s convincing evidence to support this,” says registered nutritionist Jo Lewin. “Studies suggest regular consumption reduces age-related brain loss and may improve memory – it’s the omega-3 fatty acids that are responsible for this. Studies investigating the role fatty varieties of fish play have seen benefits for conditions like Alzheimer’s disease, depression and multiple sclerosis.”

5. She Meditates

Bartel says the most important wellness advice she has been given is not to neglect her mental health. “The importance of meditation. Nina Agdal, the Danish swimsuit model who appeared in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue alongside Chrissy Teigen and Lily Aldridge, is still one of the best in the business. She posted two selfies of herself lounging in a green bathing suit with her hair curled and flowing. Agdal captioned the post, “Cali sunshine.” How does she stay so fit? “Finding that inner voice is the biggest trick. It starts by letting go and not being so tough on ourselves,” she has said. Read on to see 5 ways Nina Agdal stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Eats A Balanced Diet

Agdal spoke about her wellness routine at the Thursday Boot Co. NYFW Presentation in 2017. She revealed that she believes in eating a balanced diet and believes in eating food that she actually likes. “I try to keep it a fine balance. I eat a lot of vegetables, obviously, like there’s no secret to it — what everyone tells you, eat your veggies, lean protein, fish mostly, but also be able to have a meal that you enjoy. Whether it’s a burger or pizza, whatever it is, and just work out regularly.”

2. She Works Out Because She Likes It

25th Annual ACE AwardsIlya S. Savenok/Getty Images

Agdal also spoke about her approach to fitness at the Thursday Boot Co. NYFW Presentation. She shared that she doesn’t work out to lose weight, but rather because she likes it. “I work out five to six days a week for an hour at least, and I do it because I feel better after. Not just because it’s supposed to be good for you, but I like it, I like the way I feel.”

3. She Remembers To Work Out While She’s Traveling

The Cinema Society Hosts "No Time To Die" New York ScreeningMonica Schipper/WireImage

It can be difficult to work out while you are traveling or on vacation, but Agdal says that she makes sure to. When StyleCaster asked what her advice for working out on vacation was, Agdal answered, “Don’t consider it a vacation from the gym. You should always get your sweat in for an hour.” She tells W: “I think we have to all give ourselves a little bit of grace when we’re traveling. It’s really hard keeping up with any sort of workout schedule when you’re thrown off your routine and not in your normal environment. When I’m traveling, if I just get that 15 or 20 minutes in, (on the mat or on a towel or going for a jog outside to see where I am) it’s always extremely helpful for me mentally. The most important thing I always tell people is to create great playlists that make you want to move. I always tell people, ‘Don’t bother bringing [equipment] with you. You can always use water bottles, you can use towels, you can go outside and use a chair.’ But just make sure you have your playlist ready.”

4. She Loves Yoga

Agdal loves to practice yoga to stay in shape. And there is a specific type of yoga class that she likes to take. "I do a bunch of Y7 yoga, which is amazing because it’s dark and nobody’s judging you," she told Health. Yoga “helps with balance and strength and flexibility, which really, all of us need,” says mind and body instructor Colleen Pelkey to the Mayo Clinic. “It can reduce the inflammation in our bodies. It helps with digestion. It just gets everything moving.” Says the Clinic: “Through poses and meditation, yoga helps you focus on your body, breathing and relaxing. So you can tune out the demands of our busy world, and find balance.” “Anybody can benefit from yoga.”

5. She Launched Her Own App

“I wanted to create The Agdal Method to start spreading the word that it’s not about how long you spend in the gym, going to a workout for 60 minutes and torturing yourself, or only drinking green juices and eating lettuce,” she said of her own app, which launched two years ago, to W. And here’s her best wellness advice: “The first thing that comes to my mind is: don’t be so hard on yourself. I think especially with women, we’re just so tough on ourselves in terms of if we eat a piece of cake, then the next day, we have to torture ourselves in the gym, or if we go to the gym and don’t give it 150 percent then it’s not good enough. That mentality is what will almost make your body reject what you’re doing.”

All up, that takes an hour and a half to two hours… and sometimes when I finish a session I just lie on the ground.”

2. She Eats A Healthy Breakfast

`

Jenneke also shared her diet secrets with Body & Soul. She shared her favorite breakfasts for training day. “It really depends on what my training day looks like, but if I’ve got training in the morning (which I often do at the moment) I’ll have cereal generally before I go out and train. Then, I actually love having a Milo after a hard session – it’s got good levels of protein and iron in it – and then I make myself a second breakfast, which could be muesli with yoghurt or bacon and eggs.”

3. She Dances

Jenneke likes to dance before a meet. "The dancing preparation is good," Jenneke said to The New Zealand Herald. "People see me doing a dance on the track and it's part of my enjoyment ... I love being there and I love racing and that's how I express that. If you watch me during my warm up I'm dancing the whole way through it. I've always got music playing and I'm just really getting into it, it's how I pump myself up for the race."

Golfer Tvesa Malik in Two-Piece Workout Gear Shares "Awesome" Exercises

Discover how Tvesa Malik, SuperSport Ladies Championship winner, stays in peak shape with weightlifting, core work, and golf.

Golfer Tvesa Malik in Two-Piece Workout Gear Shares "Awesome" Exercises
Tvesa Malik / Instagram

Tvesa Malik isn’t just a pro golfer—she’s a powerhouse athlete dedicated to staying in peak shape. The SuperSport Ladies Championship winner knows that strength and endurance are just as important as skill on the course. That’s why she takes her fitness seriously, incorporating weightlifting, core work, and mobility exercises into her training.

Last year, Malik gave fans a look at her workout routine in an Instagram video, where she powered through hanging crunches, lunges, and weightlifting sessions. She captioned the post, “Got some major work to do before my next session,” proving that even elite athletes are always striving to improve. Here’s a closer look at how Malik keeps her body strong and ready for competition.

She Lifts Weights

Malik is seen doing a lot of weight lifting in her Instagram video. ACE Fitness says that this has a lot of benefits. “Lifting heavy weights elevates levels of anabolic hormones—specifically testosterone, growth hormone and insulin-like growth factor (IGF-1)—which are used to repair muscle fibers damaged during exercise. This helps the muscle fibers to become thicker and capable of generating higher levels of force.”

She Does Lunges

Malik is seen shifting into lunges in her Instagram video. ACE Fitness says that lunges are a form of unilateral training, and that makes them effective. “Unilateral training is a more effective way to build functional strength (than using both legs) because these types of movement mimic other everyday motions, like walking and climbing stairs — and not just to the working leg. Research suggests the strength gains to the nonworking side are about half of the strength gains of the working side.”

She Does Core Workouts

Malik is seen doing core workouts, like hanging crunches in her Instagram video. Core workouts are extremely important. The Mayo Clinic says, “While it takes aerobic activity to burn fat in your stomach, core exercises can strengthen and tone the underlying muscles. Strong core muscles make it easier to do many activities. When your core muscles are strong, it's easier to swing a golf club, get a glass from the top shelf and bend down to tie your shoes.”

She Does Pull-Ups

An upper body workout that Malik likes to do is pull-ups. She shared this video on Instagram of herself doing them at the gym. Malik captioned it, “Got some major work to do before my next session.” Asphalt Green says that pull-ups have a lot of benefits. “Pull-ups are a fantastic way to improve upper-body strength. This exercise primarily targets your back and biceps, but involves many stabilizing muscles in your core, arms, and shoulders. Depending on the way you grip the bar, you can even work your chest. Plus, you don’t need any fancy equipment to do a pull-up. Tree branches, scaffolding, and even door frames are all places people can do pull-ups.”

She Golfs

Golf is obviously one of the ways that Malik keeps herself in shape. Better Health says that the sport has a lot of benefits. “Golf can be good for your health and your heart. Walking an average course for a round of golf can be between five to seven kilometres. If you walk 18 holes three to five times a week, you’ll get an optimal amount of endurance exercise for your heart. If you pull your clubs or carry them, you’ll burn even more calories each round and benefit even more.”

Camila Guper in Two-Piece Workout Gear Cheers on "Consistent Actions"
Camila Guper / Instagram

Camila Guper is more than just a fitness influencer—she’s a motivation powerhouse. With 1.1 million Instagram followers, she inspires her audience with workout routines, wellness tips, and a disciplined approach to staying fit. Recently, she took to Instagram to share a glimpse of her latest gym session, including a stairclimber workout, a snapshot of her Apple Watch tracking her progress, and a post-workout mirror selfie in pink workout gear.

Her message? Consistency is key. “Don't underestimate the power of small, consistent actions! Every effort is worth it when you know where you want to go,” she captioned the post. From intense stair workouts to leg-sculpting exercises, here’s how Guper stays in top shape.

She Uses A Stairclimber

In her Instagram post, Guper is seen using the stairclimber. Stair workouts have a lot of health benefits. ACE Fitness says, “Improving metabolic health in terms of lower risks of heart problems and other complications, also by definition improves fitness. You can feel your heart working harder and the fire in your lungs when you ascend stairs. And that’s provoking important changes in your cardiorespiratory system that will make physical activities, like running and walking, feel easier.”

She’s Consistent

Guper makes sure to stay consistent with her workout routines. One way she does so is by staying disciplined. Guper talked about this in the caption of this Instagram post. “Good morning! May we always have the discipline to do what is good for us. Amen 💪🏽🙏🏽✨ 40 min stair + shoulder and chest workout today.”

She Does Lunges

Guper shared some of her favorite lower body workouts in this Instagram video. One thing she is seen doing is lunges. According to The Mayo Clinic, lunges have a lot of benefits. “The lunge is a body resistance exercise that works the leg muscles. Specifically, the lunge targets the quadriceps and the hamstring muscles in the thigh, the gluteal muscles in the buttock, and to a lesser extent, the lower leg muscles.”

She Does Leg Extensions

In the previous Instagram video, Guper is seen using the leg extension machine. Asphalt Green says that leg extensions have a lot of benefits. “These machines provide isolation exercises for your legs. This type of exercise works only one muscle or group of muscles, which means you can build up that part of your body quickly. If you want your thigh muscles to really stand out in those shorts you just bought, the leg extension machine is for you!”

She Spends Time Outside

Guper likes to spend time outside. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself enjoying a day by the pool with her dog. Guper captioned the post, “Good Morning! What book are you reading? 📖💚🐺🌮 I'm loving reading How to become super natural! I'm already sharing saying it's a must-read.”

Victoria Justice in Two-Piece Workout Gear Has "A Little Reset"

Discover Victoria Justice's wellness routine, from hiking to yoga.

Victoria Justice isn’t just an actress and singer—she’s a longtime fan favorite, thanks to her roles in Zoey 101 and Victorious. But beyond the screen, she’s also known for her effortless style and active lifestyle. Recently, she gave fans a glimpse into her wellness routine with an Instagram post captioned, “Very grateful for this little reset & this little life 🙏🏼✨🌅”—and judging by the photos, that reset involved plenty of movement.

From hiking along scenic trails to stretching it out with yoga, Justice embraces an active approach to self-care. Here’s a closer look at the habits that keep her feeling and looking her best.

She Hikes

In her Instagram post, Justice is seen hiking by the beach. Hiking has a lot of benefits. Piedmont states, “Going up and down hills gets the heart pumping, creating a great cardio workout. Like most cardio exercises, hiking helps reduce your risk of heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and even some cancers. Hiking is a weight-bearing exercise that builds muscle mass and helps prevent osteoporosis. Hiking can help you manage your weight.”

She Swims

Another thing Justice is seen doing in her Instagram post is going for a swim. Better Health says that swimming is very beneficial. “Swimming is a great recreational activity for people of all ages. Recreational swimming can provide you with a low-impact workout and it's a good way to relax and feel good…Swimming is a great workout because you need to move your whole body against the resistance of the water.”

She Does Yoga

Justice is also seen taking an outdoor yoga class in her Instagram post. Yoga has a lot of health benefits. Harvard Health says, “Yoga develops inner awareness. It focuses your attention on your body's abilities at the present moment. It helps develop breath and strength of mind and body. It's not about physical appearance. Yoga studios typically don't have mirrors. This is so people can focus their awareness inward rather than how a pose — or the people around them — looks. Surveys have found that those who practiced yoga were more aware of their bodies than people who didn't practice yoga. They were also more satisfied with and less critical of their bodies. For these reasons, yoga has become an integral part in the treatment of eating disorders and programs that promote positive body image and self-esteem.”

She’s True To Herself

Justice is all about being true to herself. She talked about this in an interview with People. "Nowadays, I feel like a lot of women feel a lot of pressure to look a certain way,” Justice said. “There's just so much beauty in owning your own individuality and who you are and not trying to be anyone else."

She’s Consistent

Justice makes sure to be consistent with her wellness. She talked about this in an interview with People. "I really appreciate it, especially because I feel like I do things to try to take care of myself the best way that I can. I wear a baseball cap when I can, I wear sunscreen every day, I try to not drink too much, I work out. I definitely put effort towards my wellness, so it feels nice to hear those comments."
