Molly Sims, the model and lifestyle maven, recently took a vacation to Cabo, as she captioned a recent photo in a swimsuit, “I miss Vail ☀️🌊” How does she stay so fit at age 48? 1. She Doesn’t Believe In Restricting Herself

When it comes to her diet, Sims doesn’t believe in being too restrictive. She tells OK! Magazine that when she limits and restricts her food options, it doesn’t help her stick with her plan. She says that a balanced diet helps her eat healthy. "Sometimes, when you take everything away, that's the moment when you absolutely go crazy and want whatever you're craving. So of course I indulge!"

2. She Uses Shopping As Motivation

Sims likes to set fitness goals for herself. In order to make sure she actually completes them, she uses. "I'm going to get up every morning at 6:30 to work out," she explains to Shape. "Then, when I've kept with it all week, I give myself something I really want, like a new handbag or a piece of jewelry I'm coveting."

3. She Works Out Everyday

Sims tells Shape that she commits to working out each day. She says that she always made sure to get some sort of physical activity in, no matter what it was or how much time she had. "I wanted to be consistent with my exercise, so I committed to working out for 30 days in a row, no matter what," she says. "For an hour every day, I did something. I was on the elliptical or the treadmill, and if someone asked me to go to a class-whether it was spinning, boxing, yoga, you name it-I went. By the end of the month, I felt so good, I just kept going. I didn't want to lose my momentum."

4. She Orders Salads And Avoids Bread Baskets At Restaurants

When Sims goes out to eat, she makes sure to eat healthy, specifically to avoid the bread baskets. She tells Shape her secret to doing this is ordering a salad every time, and as soon as possible. "I don't care if I'm being rude to the rest of the table," she says. "I just do it. Then I'm not tempted to reach for that bread."

5. She Does Dry Skin Brushing

Sims has gorgeous skin, and she makes sure to take care of it. A big part of Sims’ skin care routine is dry skin brushing. She says to Shape that it not only helps with her skin, but it helps with blood flow and cellulite. "Before I get in the shower, I use a loofah or brush to exfoliate. There's nothing better for getting your circulation going and helping with cellulite."
