Sims told OK! Magazine, that when she wants to lose weight, she only eats during a certain time period each day. "I will normally not eat much past 6:30 or 7 p.m. because I find that it's easier to lose weight," she explained. Sims says she tries to eat her meals between noon and 7 pm.

3. She Goes Easy On Herself, And Finds Balance

Sims told OK! Magazine that she doesn’t diet and avoids weighing herself. "I truly, truly don't like the word 'diet,'" she said. "I don't even like the scale. I use a pair of jeans — the jeans don't lie!" Sims also said that she isn’t too hard on herself when it comes to eating, and isn’t afraid to indulge. "Sometimes, when you take everything away, that's the moment when you absolutely go crazy and want whatever you're craving. So of course I indulge!"

For breakfast, Sims always makes a smoothie. She shared her recipe with The Newsette, writing, “I love making a delicious green smoothie to start the day and always use fairlife ultra-filtered 2% milk because it has 50% more protein, 30% more calcium, and 50% less sugar than conventional milk. An easy go-to recipe is nutritious milk, mango, pineapple, banana, kale and ice. I also add a scoop of collagen powder from Ancient Nutrition.”

5. She Has A Home Gym, And A Personal Trainer

Sims likes to start her day off by working out in a home gym, with her personal trainer. Sims told The Newsette that she works out every morning at 6 am. She says, “I head downstairs, where I meet my trainer from Tracy Anderson Method or Dance Body in my home gym. I get about 20 minutes to train by myself before one of my kiddos interrupts and tries to join me.”
