1. Coffee Dates
Smith loves coffee, which research shows has many health benefits when consumed in the correct amount. “Recent studies found that coffee drinkers are less likely to die from some of the leading causes of death in women: coronary heart disease, stroke, diabetes and kidney disease,” say the nutrition experts at Johns Hopkins. “Drinking one to two cups of coffee a day may help ward off heart failure, when a weakened heart has difficulty pumping enough blood to the body.”
2. HIIT Workouts
Smith does HIIT workouts including Barry’s Bootcamp, which can be great for cardiovascular health. "HIIT is a great regimen for people who are young and healthy. If you’re older or have heart disease, check with your doctor before trying it," says Dr. I-Min Lee, a professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School.
3. Coconut Water
Smith loves coconut water, which can be a great way to hydrate while working out. “It has about 40- to 60- calories in 8 ounces — about 1/2 that of orange juice,” says Maxine Smith, RDN, LD, with the Cleveland Clinic. “If you enjoy the taste, it can be part of a healthy diet.”
4. Lower Abs Blast
Smith shared her lower abs blast via a reel on Instagram. “@zakmason__ putting me through my paces with this lower abs burner! Try it out and let me know how you get on.
