“I…got deeply into Kundalini yoga which I’ve practiced for almost 12 years, but I went almost everyday while I was pregnant and had a very transformational experience practicing it so intensely with my teacher whom I love and adore—Tej at Nine Treasures Yoga,” she told Romy and the Bunnies. “Yoga incorporates all four motions of the spine: flexion, extension, rotation and side-bending. Therefore, yoga can prevent stiffness and disuse that also can occur with age. Being able to control the available range of motion in joints is crucial to good posture and decreasing the risk of injury,” says the Mayo Clinic.
