1. She Spends Time By The Beach
Beltrán loves to go to the beach and spend time by the water. She has posted several beach photos on Instagram. In this post, Beltrán waded into the ocean in Praia da Pinheira. She also posted this photo of herself in the ocean in Palhoca. "There are health benefits of sunlight. Vitamin D is produced when your skin is exposed to sunshine, or rather, the ultraviolet B (UV-B) radiation that the sun emits. The amount of vitamin D that your skin makes depends on such factors as the season, the time of day, where you live and the melanin content of your skin," says the Cleveland Clinic.
2. She Doesn’t Question Her Instincts
In this revealing post on Instagram, Beltrán opened up about her decision making process. She says that she always trusts her instincts. “Many times we devalue it, we question and even mistrust the decisions we make instinctively. Perhaps because by deciding on the fly, we feel more vulnerable and less in control (if we ever had any) of what happens around us.”
3. She Uses A Resistance Band
When Beltrán is doing her leg day workouts, she sometimes opts for a resistance band. Beltran posted this series of gym photos on Instagram of herself doing exercises with the band around her thighs. She captioned the post, “Training is my ground wire. My little place to escape the routine, download and continue the day with better energy.”
4. She Does High Intensity Workouts
Beltrán likes to do high intensity workouts to stay in shape. In this video taken of her at the gym, she is seen doing different high intensity workouts. Beltrán is seen jumping over the barbell into push ups, and lifting the weight itself. "High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) is a type of exercise training which alternates between higher intensity exercise bouts separated by recovery periods of complete rest or light intensity exercise within the same workout session. HIIT exercise can be performed using any modality including body weight and intervals can range from 10 seconds to 4 minutes and rest period duration can be adapted based on training goals and fitness level. HIIT is safe and well-tolerated for most individuals including some with chronic health conditions," says the Mayo Clinic.
5. She Plays Soccer
Being a sports reporter, Beltrán has a love of sports. She also loves to play them. One sport she likes in particular is soccer. In this reel on instagram, Beltran is seen kicking the ball around with a friend. "Playing on the soccer team has obvious physical benefits for your kid. But, a recent study shows that engaging in team sports may also help kids fend off depression," says the Mayo Clinic. "The study looked at data on 9,668 children. Researchers found that, among the children who were exposed to adverse childhood experiences (such as abuse, parental separation or household substance abuse), those who participated in team sports reported better mental health in adulthood."
