Mouni knows that dancing is a great form of cardio – and it's fun! Her Zindagi reports that Mouni is a trained Kathak dancer and spends at least 30 minutes every day moving her body. She loves sharing videos of herself showing off all of her impressive dance moves. "If the thought of spending a lot of time by yourself on a cardio machine simply isn't that exciting, you might want to consider taking a cardio-based group fitness class. Indoor cycling, Zumba, interval training and dance classes led by an instructor who coaches you through the workout are a great way to have fun by exercising with other people. An additional benefit is the opportunity to expand your real-life social network by getting to know other people in the class," says ACE Fitness.

Don't Eat Large Meals

Mouni is one of the many stars who opts to fill herself with many small meals instead of few large ones. According to Her Zindagi, the actress eats mini meals every two hours, to help keep hunger pangs at bay and speed up her metabolism. "It is important to figure out your game plan on what and when to eat. The first step is to examine your thoughts. Think and plan. Don't react. A game plan will help you get back to and stick with the healthy habits you followed in your previous routine," says the Mayo Clinic. "First, you may plan on enjoying snacks only during specific times or portion out healthy snacks so you don't overindulge. Second, fill your home with healthy food choices, such as fruits, vegetables, low-sodium soups, whole grains and lean proteins. You should make the healthy snack options easy so you don't reach for unhealthier options. Also, remove toxic foods that you know will tempt you."

Mouni understands the importance of hydration. According to Her Zindagi the actress makes sure to consume at least 10 glasses per day, which helps remove toxins and keeps her skin glowing. "If you're looking to maintain hydrated skin, there are steps you can take:

  • Avoid prolonged contact with hot water.
  • Use a gentle cleanser.
  • Avoid using deodorant soap and skin care products that contain alcohol, fragrance, retinoids or alpha hydroxy acid.
  • Moisturize immediately after taking a bath or shower or washing your hands.
  • Use a humidifier.
  • Wear gloves when going out in cold weather," says St. Clair.

Do Yoga

Mouni is a fan of yoga and meditation, which helped change her mindset and positively impacted her body. "It is so so imp to include yoga in daily life for a person's body, mind and soul," she wrote in one of her Instagram posts. "Start slow and steady, simple things, what your body can adapt quickly, slowly you ll see your body and mind asking for more. Replace the craving for bad with the good. Slow & steady. One tiny change at a time. And tog it ll bring the physical and mental discipline which ll have a positive impact on your entire day, helps me be way less vague & anxious than I used to be before. I hope for all of us to continue and let go of all the garbage that we don't need in our minds and lives and bring positive changes lil by lil err'yday."
