Roy’s love of dance is a great way for her to stay in shape. According to a piece from CNN by Robert Jimison, dance is a great way to stay active and help your mental state. Jimison cites quotes from dance physical therapist at NYU, Emily Sandow, about how dance can improve your balance. “The aging population is at high risk for falls, and we think dance, especially, can be beneficial in reducing the risk of falls, because dance is just a series of balance tests,” Sandow said.
2. She Hits The Beach
If you take one look at Roy’s Instagram account, you’ll notice that she is a big fan of going to the beach. Roy has posted a lot of photos of herself enjoying time by the water. Roy is a big fan of practicing yoga and meditation according to this post from her Instagram. Roy revealed in the post that yoga and meditation have had a lot of benefits for her body and her mind. She writes, “Can’t begin to explain how yoga and meditation has helped change my mindset and in turn has brought a positive impact on my body.. it is so important to include yoga in daily life for a person's body, mind and soul.
