Days of Our Lives star Camila Banus just had the best trip to Tampa, Florida, and was thrilled to get some sand in between her toes. Banus, 33, looked deliriously happy posing in a sparkling pool while wearing a polka dot and orange bikini, with matching orange sunglasses against a swanky resort background. “Happy girl,” she captioned the vibrant post. “Love seeing your happiness!” a fan commented. Here’s what Banus’s fitness and wellness routine looks like.

1. She Fasts

Los,Angeles,,Ca,Usa,-,November,12,,2022.,Camila,BanusShutterstock

Banus’s meals revolve around protein. “I fast until about 10 or 11 a.m. because normally, I like to work out in the morning," she says. "So I will do a green juice from a company called Garden of Life. And then I get some solid food in around 11, and that’s anything that has to do with protein, like oatmeal or eggs or even some turkey. It’s important to have carbs in the morning, so I complement that with some toast and a little bit of juice. For lunch, I usually have my heaviest meal. I have an obsession with rice but white rice is really bad for you, so I’ve been transitioning into doing brown rice with a healthy amount of protein, whether that’s plant-based protein or chicken or turkey. And then for dinner, I try to have a substantial meal but not as much as lunch. Spinach is my favorite, so I do spinach and chicken or any type of protein."

2. Skating Outdoors

When gyms were closed during COVID, Banus had to switch up her exercise routine. “I’ve been going to a program that has outdoor, 45-minute, spaced out classes, so I go five times a week in the morning,” she says. “Sometimes if I feel I didn’t get a good enough workout, I’ll supplement that and do a little more at home. I love to go skating around my neighborhood. It’s a really good total body workout, really good for your core. I also like to do Insanity [on beachbody.com] at home. It’s very much a challenge, so whenever I feel I need to get my butt kicked, I do that.”

3. Miami Girl

Banus is grateful for her Miami upbringing. “The upbringing I had was very diverse and I was fortunate to be able to grow up with so many different types of culture and Latinos, being exposed not only to the customs and traditions of my country, Cuba, but also to others such as Venezuela, Colombia, Chile, Peru,” she says. “I had so many friends who were Nicaraguan, Honduran, and it was beautiful. Miami is a melting pot of Latinos, and not just Latinos but people from all over the world.”

4. Fitness Rules

Pasadena,,Ca,Usa,-,June,24,,2022.,Camila,Banus,AttendsShutterstock

Banus has some good fitness advice she lives by. “Make sure you stretch your body before every workout,” she says. “It’s really important for your muscles to gradually warm themselves up so you don’t tear them in a bad way. Drink water. It’s not only important for your muscles but for your bones and joints. Even if you don’t have equipment, use a towel or a chair or your body weight. Start small. Ten minutes, five minutes, one minute. You did one minute today, maybe tomorrow you’ll do two.”

5. Latina Role Model

Banus is proud to represent her culture on a major daytime soap. “I’m really proud to be playing a Latina on daytime television for 10 years,” she says. “Portraying Gabi Josephina Hernandez to the best of my abilities, being able to go in there and meet so many amazing people and learn from so many people, but also to carry just Latinas in general for little girls that would be able to watch the show and say, ‘There’s somebody on there who looks like me and speaks Spanish,’ means a lot. It’s really nice to carry that for Latinos in general, for being somebody whose mother is from a really terrible communist regime in Cuba, who came to this country to become a better person and provide for her family, and for me to be the first generation is really amazing.”

Yanet Garcia, self-described as “The Mexican Weather Girl,” is also an IIN Certified Health Coach, so she knows how to stay fit. The results were clear in a swimsuit photo she just shared. How does she stay so fit? 1. She Works Her Glutes

Cosmo just said Yanet has a “bubblicious” body part. She works her glutes. “To strengthen the glute medius, it is vital to activate, strengthen, and mobilize this muscle. This can help exercisers effectively train for their exercise goals and sustain outdoor exercise routines pain-free. While incorporating resistance training for this muscle group, performing all exercises through the full range of motion and a slow controlled cadence is essential,” says NASM.

2. She Has a “Winning Mentality”

Yanet captioned a photo of herself in exercise gear on a track with: “Dicen que cuando un perdedor ve a un ganador siente envidia. They say that when a loser sees a winner, they feel envy. But instead, when a winner sees a winner, they feel inspired. If you want to go far, you have to develop a winning mentality. Winners DON'T talk about gossip, they DON'T talk about others. They talk about projects, they talk about dreams, they focus on them. They do not judge people by their appearance, but by their essence. They don't look at clothes, they look at behavior. When a loser loses, he says: I'm out of luck, I think this is not for me " When a winner loses, he says: " I'll try again, I'm going to prepare more, I'm going to win " When a winner sees another winner he says: “Thank you for showing me the way, if he could, I can too” #nevergiveup 🔥”

3. She Eats Clean

Healthy,Food,Clean,Eating,Selection,In,Wooden,Box:,Fruit,,Vegetable,Shutterstock

“Take care of your body. It's the only place you have to live," Yanet said, captioning a clean meal from Eat Clean Bro. “The foun-dation of clean eating is choosing whole foods and foods in their less processed states—choosing from vegetables, fruits, whole grains, pulses (beans, lentils, and peas), dairy, nuts, seeds, and high-quality animal and plant proteins. When possible, food choices are organic and based on what's in season in your geographic region. When choosing packaged foods with a label, foods with shorter ingredient lists are preferred, and added sugars are limited,” says Harvard Health.

4. She Says You Have to Be “All In”

“Best things in Life are on the other side of FEAR 🏖🇹🇨,” she captioned a recent video jet-skiing. “You have to be ALL IN with everything you do in life 🏖☀️🇹🇨.” “Courageous people are often other-centric, finding great meaning in helping their fellow beings; they have good role models whose principles they imbibe; and many find great courage from their faith. A combination of these paths helps such people lead lives driven by passion and meaning rather than fear. These three themes are connected by the single principle that most people with an abundance of courage live by higher values. The values they protect power their courage,” says Dr. Amit Sood of the Mayo Clinic.

5. She Loves Her Dog

“Te amo mamacita,” said Yanet of a photo of her and a dog. “Whether you have a dog, cat, horse, parakeet, gerbil, bearded dragon, or other fun pet, providing regular, life-long veterinary care is important for keeping your pet and family healthy. Regular veterinary visits are essential to good pet health. Talk to your pet’s veterinarian about how to keep your pet healthy. Provide your pet with a good diet, fresh water, clean bedding, and plenty of exercise,” says the CDC.

In addition to her impressive acting ability, the star is a total bombshell and has one of the fittest figures in Hollywood. Here are the top 5 habits that help her stay fit at 27.

Water Skiing

Sydney has been water skiing since she was a toddler. “The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to ski,” she told Women’s Health. “I remember that whenever we would go by the docks of my grandma’s or my cousin’s house, I’d wave. I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favorite.” How does it help her achieve her amazing body? “It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs—you get tired really fast,” she says. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it is so much fun,” she said.

Morning Workouts

Sydney mixes up her exercise routine, but likes to get workouts over with early in the day. “I like to work out in the morning, so I’ll either go for a run or I’ll go to Solidcore,” says Sydney. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Self-Care

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

She Walks and Hikes

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Mariana does reformer Pilates. “POV: Stepping into the prettiest torture chamber,” she wrote across a video of herself at the studio. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Emsculpt NEO

Mariana recently got an aesthetic body treatment, Emsculpt NEO. “I’ve heard all the rage about the benefits to spot reducing fat & toning muscle so I had to give it a try to target those pesky lower abs. It was a 10/10 & a great addition to my workout routine,” she wrote.
