Liukin posted a series of photos on Instagram of her time at the beach, while she’s wearing a black swimsuit, and a large pink fluffy coat over it. Liukin captioned the photo, “Still trying to be Baby Spice two decades later,” referencing the singer Emma Bunton, who was known as “Baby Spice” in the pop group, The Spice Girls. Read on to see 6 ways Nastia Liukin stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She’s A Gymnast

Liukin’s impressive figure is likely due to her extensive training in gymnastics, and her representing the United States in the 2008 Olympics. While she no longer competes professionally, Liukin is still finding time to return to her sport, like in this Instagram video.

2. She Makes Working Out Fun

Liukin tells HollywoodLife that one of her biggest secrets to working out consistently is making exercise fun. She says, “You don’t have to be training for the Olympics, just do something active! Make it fun! I mean, skating with your friends in Bryant Park? That’s awesome! But you don’t have to be in New York City. It doesn’t matter where you are, just get your body moving. Obviously, it’s easy in the summer but the winter is just as important. The earlier we teach these young kids, the better, because habits do stick. No matter what, it has to be fun. Everything you do — it should be fun and you have to be passionate about it. Gymnastics isn’t for everyone. You have to find something YOU love to do and that is fun for you and stick to it.”

3. She Treats Herself

When it comes to Liukin’s diet and eating habits, she admits that she likes to treat herself once in a while. “The biggest thing is to treat yourself, because if you tell yourself you can’t have something, that’s all you’re going to want,” she says to HollywoodLife. “I remember my mom always told me, if you want a cookie, have a cookie, just don’t have the whole box!”

4. She’s A Believer In Moderation

While Liukin does like to treat herself, she is also a believer in moderation when it comes to her eating. She tells HollywoodLife, “My number one thing is moderation. If you know on a Saturday night you have a party, and there’s going to be tons of not-great food and desserts, try to be good that week and have some salads, greens, and proteins from Monday through Friday. On Saturday, you can indulge and not feel so bad. I’m all about moderation and just living. Life is short and you don’t want to be miserable. Indulge, but maybe not every single day!”

5. She Works Out At Home

Liukin tells HollywoodLife that she always tries to squeeze in a workout no matter where she is. She says that she will often work out in her home if she isn’t able to hit the gym. “If I can't get out to do a class, in my house, I do squats, pushups, a little circuit.”

So at the end of the day, I like to focus on self care, my nighttime routine and turning off all notifications for the night. While I’m taking my time to do my full skincare routine, I look at it as an opportunity to unwind and spend some quality time with myself all while taking care of my skin.”

Liukin shared some of her favorite ways to unwind to Well + Good. “Meditation is also crucial to my mental health. For me, it just involves stepping away from my phone, closing my eyes, and focusing on breathing. The combo of journaling and meditation is my saving grace for clearing my mind and focusing on my day. I sometimes have so much going on and it can feel overwhelming, but doing both of these things first-thing [in the morning] really calms my mind and allows me to focus on what I have to do.”

3. She Does A Variety Of Workouts

She says that she does a variety of things to stay in shape. “I generally try to work out first thing, before anything else can pop up and get in the way, but I never do any gymnastics anymore. I love mixing it up with SoulCycle, Bar Method, and Barry's Bootcamp throughout the week. I've been really into boxing with my trainer lately, or if I'm running low on time I'll just do a quick run along the West Side Highway.”

4. She Goes To Classes

Liukin shared to Well + Good that she likes to do fitness classes and work with a personal trainer. “When I was competing, my body was so used to doing the same thing seven hours a day, six days a week, and when I stopped I didn't know what to do,” she explained. “I always had someone telling me. So working with a trainer and trying out all of these different studio classes has been really fun because I get to try out different exercises, but someone is telling me what to do and when to go.”

5. She Loves Green Juice

Liukin shared her diet to TODAY.com. She says that she likes to do green juice cleanses. “I really love green juices. I don't necessarily do green juice cleanses for a week long, but if I'm not feeling that great, I'll just do a one or two day juice cleanse, and it will just pick me right back up." Liukin also shared her favorite recipe. "Kale, spinach, celery, parsley, ginger. If I feel like I want it a little sweeter, I put in apples."

Sophie claims she hasn’t gone under the knife. “It’s your own body, you can do what you want to,” she told Grazia, weighing in on the show’s reputation for girls getting work done. “I wouldn’t have surgery myself; I don’t want it. I’ve got such a low pain tolerance as well; I’d be squirming around.”

She Gets Her Steps In

Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Sophie loves paddle boarding. The American Council on Exercise (ACE) agrees that paddle boarding is great for the core and cardio. Hembrow has a lot of challenges on her app. Recently, she advertised a challenge with a workout video on Instagram. Hembrow captioned the post, “We are 3 days into our first @tammyfitapp challenge of the year & I am more motivated than everrrrr. (Sign ups are still open if you haven’t joined yet - there’s still time to catch up!! - link in bio). Soooo happy seeing so many of my girlies (and guys) in this challenge doing it with me!! Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen doing a lot of exercises with weights in her Instagram video. She Tracks Her Meals

Hembrow likes to track her meals on her app. She talked about the benefits of this in the caption of this “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. “Make sure to take advantage of the calorie/macro tracking features in the @tammyfitapp during this challenge guys. It can be really helpful in reaching specific goals quicker. And it also can help educate you on your food choices when it comes to nutrition, ratios, hidden calories, overeating or under eating etc. honestly I’d recommend any beginner try it out just to get a good feel for how you’re fuelling your body!! I feel like when people think of ‘meal tracking’ it can be seen as something that seems restrictive or something only bodybuilders do. When in reality it can be such a helpful tool and you can learn things that will actually encourage long term habits 🫶🏼🫶🏼”

She Loves Bananas

It’s hard to believe that Jennifer Aniston is 55 and turning 56 in February! Since soaring to fame in 1994, the Friends star has hardly aged in the three decades that have passed – and she has never been secretive about her devotion to health and wellness. Her hard work over the years has paid off through her strong and lean body and ageless looks. Here is everything you need to know about Jennifer Aniston’s approach to longevity.

She Maintains a High Protein Diet

"My nutrition is very much the same. It's usually a lot of high protein, vegetables, salads, soups,” she tells People. “I do 80/20. I give myself days where I can have whatever I want. I don’t deprive myself,” she added to TODAY. Why should you consider amping up your protein intake? According to clinical trials, consuming more protein than the recommended dietary allowance not only reduces body weight (BW) but also enhances body composition by decreasing fat mass while preserving fat-free mass (FFM) in both low-calorie and standard-calorie diets.

She Cheats on Occasion

Jennifer allows herself to indulge in “everything I would possibly want on a weekend,” she told People. Her cheat meal “depends,” she says. “I mean, dare I sound repetitive, but Mexican food is a real favorite of mine. It's not even that much of a cheat, to be honest. Or a cheeseburger or pizza or pasta — all that stuff.”

“My bigger challenge is sleep. I think that’s all part of our nutritional hygiene — the amount of water we get as well as the amount of sleep we get. It’s the combination of all of those things that make your workouts the most effective," she told TODAY.

She specifically loves P.Volve workouts, a functional fitness that helps you “function throughout the day” and “work out your essential muscle groups to keep your body strong,” she says. “So you can live a long, healthy, strong life.”

She Hydrates

Aniston prioritizes hydration, drinking a whopping 100 ounces of water per day. "But occasionally I just have to have a Diet Coke—there's nothing like it!" According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is essential for various reasons. Water helps eliminate waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature regular, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

She Does Pilates, Spinning, Elliptical, and Running Workouts

“I had an injury last fall and I was only able to do Pilates, which I absolutely love. But I was missing that kind of sweat when you just go for it,” she recently told InStyle. “I'm going back to my 15-15-15, which is a 15-minute spin, elliptical, run. And then just old school: I can chase myself around a gym. I need some kind of movement, even if it's just 10 minutes a day on a trampoline.”
