She's Working On Saying "No"
On Liukin's website, she has a blog about several different topics, including health and wellness. In this post, she talks about things she does to set healthy boundaries in her life. One thing she is working on is learning to say "no" to things. Liukin writes, "I've forever been a 'yes' person and stretched myself too thin with functions and commitments. I've now learned that if it is something I'm not instantly drawn to accepting or participating in, it is likely I won't be excited about it in the future, and I politely decline. It's helped fill my calendar with events and opportunities I genuinely enjoy."
She Makes A List Of Tasks The Night Before
In the same blog post, Liukin revealed that she likes to make lists of things she needs to do each night. "I love a good list, and typically spend about five minutes before I go to sleep identifying 3-5 priorities for the next day. This allows me to stay focused on the important tasks at hand during a busy day!"
She Only Works In One Space
In the same post, Liukin reveals how she balances work and relaxation at home. She says that she does all her work in one space in her home. "I'm fortunate to have an office I'm obsessed with at home, but found myself constantly working throughout the house. I've tried to be more mindful of completing work-related tasks in my office to set that physical boundary between work and personal."
