She Starts Her Mornings With Celery Juice
"The reason why I started drinking celery juice of a morning on an empty stomach—it's because it's really great for your liver," she said in her What I Eat in a Day video. "It's supposed to help with a flat stomach. Any skin conditions or skin problems, it's really good for—which fortunately I don't have any yet, but I know that it's good for you….I make celery juice every morning for me and my dad, because he suffers with psoriasis. It's meant to be a great cure for it. And people's results have been amazing. You should be having around 12 ounces, which is about 350 milliliters. It depends how big your bunch is, but it can be a whole celery or a whole celery and a half of another one. You just need to chop the stalk off, give it a clean on the end and juice it."
This is Her Lunch
"Lunchtime, I like to have an avocado on toast or some ham, some eggs. I try to have my carb at lunchtime rather than at dinner, because I feel like it digests better if you have it before dinner time. So my carb—I'll have some kind of bread, dry bread." She mixes some tomato into the avocado. "And I'll squeeze half a lemon….I mix that around with the lemon. Then I'll season it with some salt and pepper. And I will season with some chili and garlic. Put that aside. Peel the eggs." Serve it with the bread and protein—done.
This is Her Dinner
"As I said, I try to not have carbs for my dinner. It's people's own preference. Doesn't matter. If I wanted a carb, I'd have something like a sweet potato or whole grain rice. So I like to have white fish, as I feel it's a lot healthier to digest, and I make a nice big salad and some corn." She made a lovely sea bass.
She Does HIIT
Natalya does high intensity interval training, starting her workout with a 5 to 10 minute run to warm up, and then some chest to floor burpees with a tuck jump, squat jumps with a resistance band, standing mountain climbers and other fantastic, heart-pumping exercises most people can do at home.
The Workouts Pay Off in So Many Ways
Natalya has hit the sandy shores of everywhere from Dubai to Turks and Caicos. And she exercises to get ready for them. "The CDC recommends 150 minutes of exercise a week. We know it sounds like a lot of time, but it's not. Just break it up into five 30-minute sessions a week," says the Cleveland Clinic. "Depression can lift within four weeks of starting an exercise routine."
