She Wants To Inspire Others
Tiên opened up about her victory in an interview with VN Express. She says that she wants to use her victory to be an inspiration for others. "When I heard that I was in the top 2, I was so surprised that I couldn't think of anything else," she says. "To this day, I still feel dizzy. It was when I sat back and watched the video recordings that I knew at that moment, people at the studio called the name "Vietnam" a lot. This victory is a testament to the fact that if we try, make an effort, be determined for something, we will definitely achieve results. I hope I can inspire people to work towards their dreams right now."
She Has Support
In her VN Express interview, Tiên opened up about the people who supported her. "I am grateful to those who have been with me since the beginning, when the fanclub only had a few dozen people," Tiên says. "When I was criticized and disparaged when giving the title of Miss Grand Vietnam, you entered every line of malicious comments to protect me. During the days of participating in the contest, whether tired or lack of sleep, just thinking about those feelings, I have more motivation to try, so that I deserve everyone's love and support."
She Doesn't Take Criticism Personally
Tiên has dealt with a lot of criticism. However, she tells VN Express that she doesn't take it personally. "I think it's the criticism that makes me strong," she explains. "Pushes me to become a better version of myself. So I really want to thank those who didn't support me at first. They have their reasons, but because of that, I have to try and do my best to get where I am today."
Tiên has a lot of confidence. She shared her secrets to gaining confidence with VN Express. "I think the core of confidence is knowing what you have and what you don't have. I always try to show all my strengths, thereby impressing those around me. For example, my Thai is not too good to speak much. Before the competition, I just spent about 10-12 basic communication lessons. But I know how to use a foreign language at the right time and in the right place for the best effect."
