Often using social media to build a community of like-minded friends and fans, Nicole showed off her body during a photo of her on social media on a hike."Don't let others put you in a box," she said. "You're [sic] potential is limitless." Sometimes, you just need a little support to get your workout in. That goes for the stars, too. "You're not in this alone. She Pushes Herself

Nicole is dialed in and totally focused on creating a fit and active lifestyle, while documenting it all over social media to inspire others. The workout videos of her using the rope for exercises to tone her arms got a lot of attention. The Pussycat Doll could tell that she was going at it full throttle on the ropes as she wrote in the caption, "today's a bad day to be these ropes." In one study, basketball players who used battle ropes "exhibited significant improvements in AC (Progressive Aerobic Cardiovascular Endurance Run laps: 17.6%), upper-body AnP (mean power: 7.3%), upper-body power (basketball chest pass speed: 4.8%), lower-body power (jump height: 2.6%), core muscle endurance (flexion: 37.0%, extension: 22.8%, and right side bridge: 23.0%), and shooting accuracy (free throw: 14.0% and dynamic shooting: 36.2%)."

Battling bulimia in the past, it's really special to see that she's come such a long way and developed a healthy relationship with food. "You can recover and you can get rid of it forever," she said. "I did it and that's why it's so important for me to share my story…you hide it from the world, you isolate yourself. But you can beat it-do not give up, because you're so special and you're meant for such great things."

Often involving carbs, vegetables, healthy fats, and protein, Nicole doesn't shy away from carbs. In fact,  she embraces them. An average breakfast for her includes avocado toast with poached runny eggs and smoked salmon, plenty of healthy fats and carbs involved there. "One serving of a medium avocado is low in carbohydrates, yet it contains three grams of fiber," Toby Smithson, MS, RDN, CDE, of DiabetesEveryDay and author of Diabetes Meal Planning and Nutrition, tells our sister site Eat This, Not That! "Consuming higher fiber may reduce the risk of heart diseaseType 2 diabetes, and obesity."
