Nicole Scherzinger recently posted a slew of beach videos of photos—including some of her on a Jet Ski—and yesterday she reviewed another. “Mentally I’m here. Physically I’m at home, cleaning my oven,” she cheekily captioned the snaps. How does the 43-year-old maintain her fantastic figure? 1. Everything in Moderation
Nicole doesn’t believe in an all-or-nothing approach to diet. “Don’t deprive yourself of anything because eventually you’ll crave it and then you might binge on it. Everything in moderation," she explained to Women’s Health UK. So, what is an average day of eating for the singer? "For breakfast I love eggs and toast and smoked salmon or bacon, or porridge. For lunch I like maybe some soup or some sushi. For dinner, anything from pasta to rice, and meats and veggies, to sushi. When I’m going to indulge, I love pasta, pizza, I love Mexican with lots of cheese. I love French fries, or crisps - salt and vinegar crisps. In terms of snacks: almonds, coconut water, bits of coconut, baby carrots."
2. Mix Up Workouts

Scherzinger explained to Women’s Health UK that variety is key when it comes to exercise, "In a typical workout I would run on the treadmill, maybe 20 mins, then try to do some squats, some sit-ups on the exercise ball, some yoga stretches,” she said about her go-to workout. “When I’m home I like to take a spinning class called Soul Cycle or I like to do hot yoga - a modified version of bikram yoga - or hiking, and core power yoga in LA.” She also dances, of course. “I mean, I heard that dancing and laughing gives you better abs than crunches anyway,” she captioned a recent post.
3. Find a Workout Buddy
Nicole likes to include friends in her workouts. "Me and my girlfriends support each other for the gym. Because, you know, it’s hard to be motivated sometimes, so when you go you push each other, - we try to do different things,” she told Women’s Health UK. "We’ll go hiking one day and then we’ll try a sculpting hot yoga class, then we’ll do a cardio. We just motivate each other."
4. Stay Active
Even when she isn’t working out to burn calories, Scherzinger maintains an incredibly active lifestyle. Her Instagram account is filled with all of her outdoor activities, including going on walks, hiking, jet-skiing, and surfing.
5. Exercise for Mental Health

Nicole is a big fan of the mental health benefits of exercise.“I travel so much it’s so important for me to sweat it out. It’s not only for physical being, but mostly for my mental well-being. It keeps me centered, focused, strong and helps me get in the right frame of mind for my work ahead. Preparation is key. Prepare yourself so when the opportunity comes, you are ready!” she wrote on Instagram.
6. She Prioritizes Sleep

Nicole is a big proponent of getting enough sleep. “Get lots of sleep - sleep really makes such a huge difference,” she told Women’s Health UK.
