Do HIIT Workouts

Nicole has adapted her workouts as she has gotten older. In a December 2022, she revealed that she was doing a lot of high-intensity interval training. "I like to switch it up and try new things, but, most recently, I've just been pretty consistent with more HIIT workouts," she told Women's Health. Usually she does HIIT and HIIT with weights, like running on the treadmill and then doing circuit, then more cardio, then another circuit. "I feel like I get more results that way," she explained. She works out three to six times per week.

Mix-Up Workout Methods

Variety is a key part of Nicole's approach to exercise. "I love doing everything from SoulCycle spinning and climbing to boxing and dance cardio," she told the publication. "It's really good to always keep your body guessing and to always switch it up." She also balances out hardcore workouts with long walks. "You can't grind all the time, you need that balance," she said.

Give Yourself a Break

Nicole works out hardcore most of the year. However, she takes time off on occasion. "I call it my hibernating period," she explained. "During this time, it's all about balance and moderation."

Do Intermittent Fasting

When Nicole isn't exercising as much she will practice intermittent fasting. "I'm not on the grind as much with my workouts, so I'm intermittent fasting," she told the publication. When she walks up she drinks a lot of water and tea. "I wake up and have a cup of tea, usually [VAHDAM's] Mint Melody Green Tea or their Turmeric Spiced Herbal Tea, and then I usually won't eat until the afternoon," she said.

Maintain a Healthy Diet

Nicole eats breakfast for her lunch. "I love eggs and gluten-free bread with a side of smoked salmon or some ham," she said, revealing that sometimes she will add sliced cherry tomatoes. "They're just my favorite," she said. She might also have avocado or a simple salad. As for snacks, raw almonds, cherry tomatoes, snap peas, Himalayan salt popcorn, and dark chocolate—preferably with sea salt or almonds – are her go-tos. "If I have some frozen fruit laying around, I'll make an oat milk smoothie. Sometimes I'll put turmeric powder in it, which is delicious and anti-inflammatory," she added. She eats her last meal around 6 p.m. "It's usually like chicken and rice, fish and rice, and then a side of vegetables," she says. If she does eat a sweet treat, she will go for baked goods or candy. "I love red velvet cake with cream cheese icing; carrot cake with cream cheese icing," she said. She also loves dark chocolate candy, soft cookies, and muffins. "I love muffins and cakes."
