1

Running and Yoga

Rawal enjoys running and yoga to stay healthy and in shape. "Yoga is amazing when you need more focus and more energy," she says. "I always do yoga in an open space. It's a workout of the mind, body, and soul. I try and do at least 2-3 sessions each week… running motivates me most and I do a lot of it. It's kind of a secret of my toned body. I never miss even one day of workout. Wherever I am, I make sure to do it anyhow. There is no magic pill to get super fit."

2

Balance Is Key

Rawal doesn't deprive herself of anything, but she is sensible. "You have to be at it each day and have a very healthy diet," she says. "That's the key I reckon. Eat what you want on the day, but be mindful of your macros and the quantity you consume. I love my food and I try and put in a couple of cheat meals each week in mild quantity, and I never miss a workout. It's a decent combination I would say."

3

Vegan Diet

Rawal turned vegan after watching a documentary. "I have turned vegan for some time and it has changed me in so many ways. I watched a documentary on Netflix called Game Changers and did my research," she says. "Then I went for a trial vegan diet. I started sleeping better. My energies were higher. My focus shifted to better and positive things. So, I just thought to stick to it and the results have been astonishing. I won't suggest it for everyone but we should research on it and try it out."

4

She's a Foodie

Rawal loves her meals, and tries to cook at home as much as possible. "I am huge foodie," she says. "And in fact I work out a lot so I can earn my cheat meals. I believe in wholesome food and no crash diets. We grew from a small baby to the big humans that we are and there is no question on the quality of home food. They are packed with protein, carbs and other micronutrients. I have everything home cooked and I check the quantity of my macros and micros. That really helps me to perform at an elite level and also supplements my workouts as well. I have a protein shake post workout for quick absorption and energy. We are what we eat and that's important to watch and analyze what we eat. Our body needs different nutrition at difficult times and we need to be aware of its needs."

5

She Meditates

"I have recently taken up yoga and meditation," she says. "Meditation has brought so much into my life. While I am meditating I get like a bird's eye view into my life and what adjustments need to be made. I always loved yoga but I didn't practice it regularly. But of late I have been able to since there isn't much equipment at home to workout. And I must say it's changed my energy systems and flow completely. Not only do I feel fitter but mentally there is just no exhaustion. I feel my tanks are filled again and there is no soreness. I recommend it to everyone. It boosts immunity as well which is so necessary during these times."
