"Dance is a weight-bearing activity which builds bones, it's also wonderful for your upper-body and strength."

She Lifts Weights

In this reel from her Instagram, Conte is seen lifting hand weights to work out. While lifting weights is usually seen as a male-focused exercise, it has a lot of benefits for women. According to a post from Integris Health, lifting weights can help women increase bone density, and can prevent osteoporosis. "Weight-bearing exercise puts stress on the bones — not too much stress, but enough to cause the bone to strengthen. This can prevent osteoporosis, which affects 10 million Americans. Women are particularly prone to osteoporosis as they age, so it's even more important for aging women."

Conte works out  with a perforan trainer and posted this reel with him, while the two were at the gym. Using a personal trainer can have a lot of benefits for your health and working out. Sports dietician and certified strength and conditioning specialist, Marie Spano, MS, RD, tells WebMD that working with a trainer can help you prevent injuries and maintain your form. "Your personal trainer can work with your doctor or physical therapist to assess injuries and modify exercises to help get you back up and running." Spano says that trainers can make sure that their clients are doing the exercises correctly, which can prevent pain and injuries.
