1. Her Approach to Exercise Changed When She Become a Mom

Olivia met her husband Alex in 2016 while on Love Island and welcomed baby Abel in June 2022. She recently told Women’s Health that becoming a mom changed her approach to exercise. “These days I feel completely different to how I felt towards exercise before I had Abel. When I first had Abel, I sort of felt a lot of pressure to get straight back into things. And actually it wasn't possible, just because of the birth I had, and I ended up making myself feel a lot worse,” she said.
2. She Runs

Olivia loves running and pounds the pavement regularly. “In February, I finally felt ready to start working out properly and get back into running,” she told Women’s Health. “I love to run but because of the birth I had, running hadn’t been an option. I got back into running, I started running twice a week.”
3. She Weight Trains

She also does weight training twice a week and takes a variety of classes, including boxing, HIIT, and Body Pump. Physical activity is anything that gets your body moving. Each week adults need 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity and 2 days of muscle-strengthening activity, according to the current Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans
4. She Rides Her Horse
“And also I have Dolly, my horse, so I have to ride her three times a week and I need to be fit for that as she’s a bit of a handful!” Olivia told Women’s Health adding that part of her motivation to get back into shape was to be able to “enjoy my hobby.”
5. She Finds Workouts She Enjoys
What is the secret to exercise? “For me, it is about finding something that you really, truly enjoy. That's why with my training, I tried so much at the start because I didn't really know what I liked. It's all well and good focusing on exercise and your health, but you do have to enjoy it to keep going. I tried all sorts to make sure that I found something that actually fed my happiness, rather than just going to exercise,” Olivia told Women’s Health.
6. She Maintains Balence
Olivia maintains that balance paired with discipline help her stay accountable. “I think it can be hard to strike a balance as you also have to be disciplined and just go even when you don't feel like it. There have been some workouts I've really not wanted to go to and I've ended up doing a personal best. You have to turn up for yourself,” she told Women’s Health. “The first step is to literally get there, and then once you're there, that's half the battle.”
7. She Doesn’t Count Calories
“I don’t count calories, I don’t find it that useful. I know obviously if you’re into body building or have a specific goal then calories can be important but for me it’s more about what I’m getting in my diet – the fibre, the protein, different fats, making sure that they are not saturated fats. It’s much more about what nutrients are in your food rather than the calories that are in it,” Olivia told Daily Star about her diet. “When I am thinking about my diet and eating healthy I eat porridge, maybe a tuna sandwich on brown bread for lunch. I eat a lot of snacks during the day because I am more of a grazer – I can’t eat big meals all in one go. I’ll have any sort of dinner, but Domino’s pizza is just my heaven.”
