1. Her Modeling Prepared Her for the Limelight

ITV Palooza! 2021 - ArrivalsMike Marsland/WireImage

“I think from being from a modeling background and doing the Grid Girls stuff, it was all, obviously you are held to like impeccably higher standards of like physical appearance and like the way you hold yourself and being tough and having a face on, doesn't matter if you are feeling a bit miserable, one day you've gotta come and you've gotta smile. And you've got to be entertaining, charismatic. And I think that definitely has helped me for this part of my life,” she told the Behind Closed Doors podcast.

2. Love Island was a “Therapeutic” Experience

National Television Awards 2021 - VIP ArrivalsDave Benett/Getty Images

“Love Island was kind of like a big wakeup call for me in quite a lot of ways….I realized that previous to that I'd always used all my relationships and the men in my life as a crutch. So I felt beautiful when they told me I was beautiful. I thought I was funny if they told me I was funny and I think what Love Island taught me is that I don't need someone else to tell me that, like, I just need to like myself and be confident in who I am and that's enough. And even though I was on, you know, on love island, you can say I was so unfiled and like I just was unapologetically myself for the first time I think in ages, in a weird way. Cuz you think being on a national TV, like it'd have the opposite effect, but weirdly like I just kind of in that Villa with no outside influence, like generally I had no one to kind of like guide me or tell me don't do that. Don't say that, you know, not having an ex you know, ex-boyfriend shush you or don't don't say that, it was quite like a therapeutic experience,” she told Behind Closed Doors.

3. She Loves the Outdoors

“I am 100% a summer girl, as I’m the coldest person that ever lived! Even on sunny days in England, when it gets to 25 degrees and everyone else strips off, I’ll still be wearing jeans. For that reason, spending last summer on Love Island was the absolute dream – it was always so lovely and warm!” she told Checklist.

4. This is Her Diet Advice

London Celebrity Sightings - September 1, 2022Ricky Vigil M/GC Images

“Prosecco and white wine are always on my shopping list – especially Pinot Grigio! I’m also obsessed with drinking water, so my fridge is always stocked up with plenty of bottles of Evian, as well as lots of healthy staples like eggs, smoothies, spinach, smoked salmon, bagels and avocados. I tend to end up eating breakfast foods at all hours of the day – even for dinner,” she told Checklist.

5. She Has ADHD

Olivia has ADHD. “The primary features of ADHD include inattention and hyperactive-impulsive behavior. ADHD symptoms start before age 12, and in some children, they're noticeable as early as 3 years of age. ADHD symptoms can be mild, moderate or severe, and they may continue into adulthood,” says the Mayo Clinic. “ADHD occurs more often in males than in females, and behaviors can be different in boys and girls. For example, boys may be more hyperactive and girls may tend to be quietly inattentive.” “I myself fall into a kind of combined type,” Olivia has said on Loose Women. “It got brought up when I was a child for me fidgeting in school, finding it hard to concentrate, but because I was like mild-mannered and bright, it kind of got a bit of brush under the carpet. And it was only in my later life. I found myself in a quite severe battle with anxiety and depression. And I came under the care of a psychiatrist whose actual special field was ADHD in adults. It was just an actually strike of luck. And she just was speaking to me for an hour assessing me. And at the end of the hour, she said, has anyone ever spoken to you about having ADHD?”

Love Island star Olivia Hawkins is modeling swimwear and enjoying the sun in Ibiza, Spain, but this time, it’s for fun rather than work. Hawkins shared pictures of herself posing in a variety of swimsuits, including a hot-pink bathing suit plus a white swimsuit with a green coverup on top, flashing the peace sign. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Hawkins stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Loves a Latte

SHEIN Debuts at Ocean Beach IbizaXavi Torrent/Getty Images

Hawkins’ go-to coffee drink is a hazelnut latte. “Since coffee is naturally caffeinated, it can be used to give you an extra boost of energy before you work out,” according to Penn Medicine. “Coffee can also boost your mood and reduce the amount of pain you feel during or after a workout, therefore allowing you to exercise more frequently and for longer periods of time.”

2. Lots of Swimming

olivia-hawkins-2Olivia Hawkins/Instagram

Hawkins frequently travels to hot beach locations, which means lots of pool and ocean swimming. “Although swimming can be great for the heart, lungs, blood vessels, and muscles, it doesn't do much for the bones,” says Harvard Health. “That's why swimmers need to supplement their aquatic training with some weight-bearing exercise, like strength training, walking, dancing, stair climbing, or gardening.”

3. Work That Makes Her Happy

olivia-hawkins-3Olivia Hawkins/Instagram

Hawkins wants to go back to work she is passionate about, which is a great way to support mental health and happiness. “Before I went in I was on my acting journey,” she says. “I trained in musical theater. One day I'd like to go back into musical theater and just continue with my acting. I was always going to come out and go straight back to what I was before. I did Love Island but in terms of reality. For now I just want to focus on my passion and what I've been doing since I was a child.”

4. Rosé All Day

olivia-hawkins-4Olivia Hawkins/Instagram

Hawkins enjoys drinking rosé wine, which should be consumed strictly in moderation. “Health care providers don't recommend that you start drinking alcohol for heart benefits, especially if you have a family history of alcohol use disorder,” says the Mayo Clinic. “Too much alcohol can have many harmful effects on the body. But if you already enjoy a glass of red wine with your evening meal, drinking it in moderation may improve your heart health.”

5. Real Emotions

olivia-hawkins-1Olivia Hawkins/Instagram

Hawkins was accused of “toxic femininity” during her time on Love Island, but says it’s not a true representation of her character. “I had many times when I was in tears that wasn’t shown on TV,” she says. “There were real emotions. Maybe it was a case of big personalities clashing, it was so intense and arguments are inevitable when we were in a confined space together 24 hours a day. But it was definitely not a case of toxic femininity. When people meet me they will see the real me, I’m definitely not a villain. Now I’m out of the villa I’m looking forward to people seeing my fun side and my big heart. I’m a genuinely lovely person.”

1. She Surfs

Spending time in the pool isn’t the only aquatic physical activity Bowen enjoys doing. She also likes to ride the waves on her board, even if she isn’t the best at it. Bowen posted this series of beach photos on Instagram of herself and her husband surfing at the beach in North Devon. She humorously captioned the photo, “Fell off 100 times.” Surfing is not just a great way to workout, it is also a way to help motivate you to train harder. According to the Center For Surf Research, “Many surfers are more motivated to exercise outside of the water in order to surf in bigger conditions. Big wave surfers train constantly to be able to hold their breath and paddle long distances. Similarly, even the average surfer is more likely to stretch before and after a surf, which promotes muscle recovery and flexibility.”

2. She Horseback Rides

"Free Guy" UK Premiere - ArrivalsMike Marsland/WireImage

Bowen loves to go horseback riding as a way of staying in shape. She posted this reel on Instagram of herself riding really fast through a field. She captioned the reel, “What dreams are made of.” She also posted this selfie of herself with a horse, captioning it, “My half tonne soulmate.” Horseback riding can also have a positive impact on your mental health. “The term hippotherapy refers to how occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech-language pathology professionals use evidence-based practice and clinical reasoning in the purposeful manipulation of equine movement as a therapy tool to engage sensory, neuromotor and cognitive systems to promote functional outcomes,” says the American Hippotherapy Association.

3. She Spends Time Outside

Whether she’s taking her dogs for a walk in the field, enjoying time at the beach, or riding in a golf cart, Bowen gets plenty of Vitamin D with all the time she spends in the sunshine.

4. She Works Out Regularly

Bowen tells The Sun that she aims to work out as often as she can, even with her busy schedule. She says that her goal is to hit the gym at least three days a week. “I work out when I can but mainly three times a week,” she says. Bowen and her husband also love to work out together, which is not only a great couple’s activity, but a great way to stay motivated and remember to workout. They have shared some of their couple’s workouts with The Sun.

5. She Enjoys the Endorphin Rush

BBC Radio 1 Out Out! Live 2021Burak Cingi/Getty Images

One of Bowen’s ways of staying motivated to exercise? Actually enjoying it. She tells The Sun that she actually likes working out, and likes the way it makes her feel. “When I work out I feel a lot better about myself and the release of endorphins gives me a happy energy that’s incomparable,” she says. “That gives me an extra boost of confidence, not only in my body but also my head space.” She’s right: “Physical activity may help bump up the production of your brain's feel-good neurotransmitters, called endorphins. Although this function is often referred to as a runner's high, any aerobic activity, such as a rousing game of tennis or a nature hike, can contribute to this same feeling,” says the Mayo Clinic.

Leonie Hanne is living her best life in Thailand – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the German model flaunts her fantastic figure in a $750 Missoni bathing suit while enjoying a boating day in the tropics. “She dreamed of a tropical adventure 🦋,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. “Stunning,” commented one of her followers. ”So beautiful,” added another. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Coffee

Leonie enjoys the perks of caffeine. In one of her posts from Thailand, she drinks a cup of coffee at the poolside. According to the Cleveland Clinic, drinking coffee in moderation has several benefits. “It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function,” they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.

Pilates

Leonie does Pilates at the super exclusive London studio Pilates in the Clouds. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress, and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

At-Home Workouts

Leonie tries to get a workout in daily, preferably in the morning. I still try to get up early to maintain a sense of routine. I start every day with a quick at-home workout and a homemade acai bowl, before starting work on emails and content creation. I’ve been getting really into TikTok lately, it’s funny and keeps me feeling energised!” she told Arcadia.

Community

It takes a village, according to Leonie. “Community is key! The people you surround yourself with are more important than ever, as we are all trying to find ways to stay connected without being physically present. Speaking to people either on the phone or through social media can shift your mindset and motivation more than ever before,” she says.

Small, Healthy Habits

Leonie focuses on maintaining small, healthy habits. “Do something every day that brings you joy. Even if that means having something small to look forward to, like having your favourite snacks around the house or changing into an outfit that makes you feel good about yourself,” she says.

Sophie Piper is embracing island life – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the Love Island beauty shows off her fantastic figure in a swimsuit during a tropical vacation at Kandima Maldives with Josh Ritchie. “Island life,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps taken at the picturesque resort. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

She Doesn't Go Under the Knife

Sophie claims she hasn’t gone under the knife. “It’s your own body, you can do what you want to,” she told Grazia, weighing in on the show’s reputation for girls getting work done. “I wouldn’t have surgery myself; I don’t want it. I’ve got such a low pain tolerance as well; I’d be squirming around.”

She Gets Her Steps In

Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Sophie loves paddle boarding. The American Council on Exercise (ACE) agrees that paddle boarding is great for the core and cardio. Water sports can burn an average of 385 calories for a 140-pound male and 436 calories for a female of the same size, per a study conducted by Arizona State University.

She Skis

When Sophie hits the mountains, she throws on a pair of skis. “Ski club,” she captioned a photo. Research has linked downhill skiing to several health benefits. In addition to promoting physical fitness, it may decrease the risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Studies have also found that the more frequently a person skis, the prevalence of known hypercholesterolemia, systemic hypertension, diabetes, the frequency of mental stress, and the occurrence of memory deficits decline.

She Loves Group Fitness

“You’ve got to be body confident,” Sophie told Grazia. One of her favorite sweat methods? Group fitness. “A few gym classes can’t hurt,” she said.

She Goes Snorkeling

On her recent Maldives vacation, Sophie and Josh snorkeled in the crystal clear water. Surprisingly, putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.

Hembrow is seen doing a lot of exercises with weights in her Instagram video. ACE Fitness states that using weights to workout has a lot of benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

She Tracks Her Meals

Hembrow likes to track her meals on her app. She talked about the benefits of this in the caption of this “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. “Make sure to take advantage of the calorie/macro tracking features in the @tammyfitapp during this challenge guys. It can be really helpful in reaching specific goals quicker. And it also can help educate you on your food choices when it comes to nutrition, ratios, hidden calories, overeating or under eating etc. honestly I’d recommend any beginner try it out just to get a good feel for how you’re fuelling your body!! I feel like when people think of ‘meal tracking’ it can be seen as something that seems restrictive or something only bodybuilders do. When in reality it can be such a helpful tool and you can learn things that will actually encourage long term habits 🫶🏼🫶🏼”
