Olivia-CulpoOlivia Culpo/Instagram

Culpo revealed some of her wellness secrets to Shape Magazine. She revealed that she struggles with endometriosis, and has turned to holistic healing methods to help. “Right now, I'm trying to figure out new ways to heal holistically through what I'm eating and the rest that I'm giving myself. I'm also exploring acupuncture, massages, Chinese herbal medicine, and maybe cutting out caffeine. I'm going to actively try to help people who live with this and not just talk about my experience."

2. She Believes In The 80/20 Rule

When it comes to eating, Culpo believes in balance. She tells Shape that she still indulges from time to time, and uses a popular eating plan to do so. "My eating philosophy is the 80-20 rule,” she says. “80 percent of the time I'm super healthy, and 20 percent of the time I indulge.”

3. She Cooks Her Favorite Indulgences

While Culpo still indulges, she doesn’t do so in a traditional way. She tells Shape that she likes to make a lot of her favorite indulgences. “I love to bake, and I love to cook. So typically when I indulge, it's not by going out somewhere.”

4. She Loves High Intensity Interval Training

Culpo also revealed some of her favorite workouts to Shape. “I also found high-intensity interval training to be the most fun and also the most effective for my body. I love the competitive angle of it too, making it a group situation with friends at classes like SoulCycle, where you can take in the energy of everyone else."

5. She Does Cardio For Her Abs

Culpo has amazing abs. However, you’d be surprised to hear that she doesn’t turn to crunches and traditional ab workouts to get them. “Cardio is a huge part of getting abs,” she revealed to HollywoodLife. “When I am running regularly, I can actually achieve abs comparable to when I am doing regular ab exercises.”

1. She Was a Gymnast

Before becoming an actress, Olivia was a devoted gymnast. She described herself to StyleCaster as a “full-on Southern belle.” While living in a small town in Mississippi she dreamt of becoming an Olympic gymnast, spending 5 hours a night training at a gym.

2. She Struggles with Body Image Issues

Like many other girls, Olivia has dealt with overcoming body image issues. “I’ve struggled with figuring out exactly what my body type is and going back and forth between feeling too skinny or too thick or too this or too that,” she told StyleCaster. “Being a gymnast, I had a lot of issues with feeling too broad in my shoulders or too thick in my thighs. It’s heartbreaking that we have to feel this way, especially as women in a world where we already feel put down by so many others. I’ve been told by many producers, ‘You need to lose X amount of pounds if you’re going to be a part of this project’ or ‘You need to gain this amount of pounds if you want to be a part of this project.’ That really messes, not just your headspace, but your heart.”

3. She Is Competitive

Olivia was psyched when Disney asked if she wanted to participate in the challenge show TEYathalon. “I love to be challenged, and I am very competitive, sports-wise,” she told Girls Life. “The best element from the TRYathlon is doing something I have never done before and challenging muscles that I don't normally use.”

4. Her Favorite Workout Is Parkour

Olivia told Girls Life that she loves swimming, hiking, and tumbling with her friends. But her favorite workout? Parkour. “I love it,” she said. “It teaches you how to do all sorts of stunts, and it challenges me.”

5. She Has a Few Favorite Eats

Olivia revealed her guilty pleasure to She Knows. “Popcorn. I like Smart Food White Cheddar Popcorn, but I do just like plain movie theater popcorn too. [On set] I got everyone hooked on popcorn dipped in Nutella. It’s soooo good. But it is very messy,” she said. She also revealed that she has a favorite condiment. “I eat everything with ketchup. I smother everything with ketchup. I cannot eat a meal without ketchup. I carry ketchup in my purse.”

As a teen, Olivia majorly struggled with her weight, weighing 95kg before deciding to have gastric sleeve surgery when she was 22. “My recovery was pretty good except I developed gallstones … When you have rapid weight loss you can develop that,” Olivia said during an Instagram Q&A. “So I was in a lot of pain. I went from 95kg to 45kg within a year.”

2. She Lost a Lot of Weight After MAFS

Olivia revealed after the show that she weighed 80kg while filming MAFS. “Now I’m back to 67kg as of this morning,” she said. “I try to stay between 60 and 65, so a few more kilos [to lose],” she said.

3. She Also Underwent Another Plastic Surgery Procedure

After her gastric bypass surgery, Olivia underwent another procedure. “I didn’t have much loose skin. I had a little bit in my arms but my [breasts] were very saggy, I had to have them done,” she said, revealing she had breast reduction surgery.

4. She Exercises

Exercise is also a part of Olivia’s routine, which she enjoys doing. "If I go for a walk with my friends, they aren't concerned about me making it up the hill or not," she told Woman’s Day.

5. She Eats “As Healthy as Possible”

Olivia eats a diet that is as “healthy as possible” but sometimes cheats. She also can’t eat the same way as other people, because her stomach fills up so fast. “I can’t drink and eat at the same time, so I have to finish my drink at least 10 minutes before I can eat,” she said.

1. She Loves Cycling

Culpo tells HollywoodLife that she likes to take fitness classes. She says that she loves cycling ones in particular. “I really do like SoulCycle. I just feel like it’s an easy meditative way to work out. I can really zone out during that workout." "The feeling of being part of something bigger and the camaraderie forged in group fitness classes is something that quite simply can’t be replicated. Group fitness classes exude positivity, and serve as a welcome invitation for people of all different ages, backgrounds, and ability levels to come together in one inclusive experience to move with passion and intention, all without judgement or expectation," says ACE Fitness.

2. She Does Pilates

For cardio, Culpo is an avid runner. She says to HollywoodLife that she aims to get a run in as often as she can, even with cold weather. “I like to run. It’s a little harder in the winter because it’s chilly.”

4. She Eats A Low Carb Diet On Occasion

When Culpo needs to eat healthy, she aims to eat a low-carb diet. “I try really hard,” she told HollywoodLife. “I really try to cut out carbs when I’m not working. When I’m preparing for something and being good, I cut out carbs. So my ideal good day would be egg whites, avocado, turkey bacon for breakfast. Then, for lunch, I would have a salad with protein, and for dinner, I would have veggies with protein.”

5. She Cooks

Culpo loves to make her own food. She says to Stylecaster that she likes to cook healthy meals for herself. “I have made everything from sweet potato toast to ginger-soy sautéed vegetables. I feel the healthiest when I make the food myself.” "In addition to being an excellent source of vitamins A and C, sweet potatoes are a good source of fiber, vitamin B-6 and potassium. And like all vegetables, they're relatively low in calories — one-half of a large sweet potato has just 81 calories," says the Mayo Clinic.

1. She Hits the Gym

Olivia works out at the gym – even while on vacation. “I’d much rather hit the gym than go for a run, so to get ready for summer I make sure I go the gym and get loads of squats done. Squats are the secret! Also, because I don’t like hitting the beach with pale skin, I try to build up a base tan in the garden and often get a spray tan before heading off somewhere sunny,” she told Checklists.

2. She Eats Healthy, Whole Foods

When Olivia goes grocery shopping she stocks up on “lots of healthy staples like eggs, smoothies, spinach, smoked salmon, bagels and avocados. I tend to end up eating breakfast foods at all hours of the day – even for dinner,” she dished to Checklists. What is her favorite meal? “I make a mean roast dinner and I have an amazing recipe for fish cakes, which I make from scratch. The fish cakes are my go-to dish for when I have mates over for dinner,” she said.

3. She Hydrates

Olivia prioritizes hydration. “I’m also obsessed with drinking water, so my fridge is always stocked up with plenty of bottles of Evian,” she told Checklists. According to the U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine men should drink about 15.5 cups (3.7 liters) of fluids a day and women about 11.5 cups (2.7 liters) of fluids.

4. She Swims

Olivia calls the pool her “happy place” and loves swimming laps. Swimming is a good way to get regular aerobic physical activity, according to the CDC. Just two and a half hours per week of aerobic physical activity, such as swimming, bicycling, or running, can decrease the risk of chronic illnesses. In addition to the many physical benefits, there are multiple studies supporting the mental health benefits of swimming as well.

5. She Has Self-Love

“If I was ten out of ten then, I’m better than that now. I’m totally happy with the way I look,” Olivia told The Sun. “I actually look better now because I’m healthy, I eat properly and go to the gym, whereas in my twenties I was living off McDonald’s and white wine spritzers,” she said. “I wouldn’t change anything and there’s nothing I am really that unhappy with.”

Leonie Hanne is living her best life in Thailand – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the German model flaunts her fantastic figure in a $750 Missoni bathing suit while enjoying a boating day in the tropics. “She dreamed of a tropical adventure 🦋,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. “Stunning,” commented one of her followers. ”So beautiful,” added another. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Coffee

Leonie enjoys the perks of caffeine. In one of her posts from Thailand, she drinks a cup of coffee at the poolside. According to the Cleveland Clinic, drinking coffee in moderation has several benefits. “It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function,” they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.

Pilates

Leonie does Pilates at the super exclusive London studio Pilates in the Clouds. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress, and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

At-Home Workouts

Leonie tries to get a workout in daily, preferably in the morning. I still try to get up early to maintain a sense of routine. I start every day with a quick at-home workout and a homemade acai bowl, before starting work on emails and content creation. I’ve been getting really into TikTok lately, it’s funny and keeps me feeling energised!” she told Arcadia.

Community

It takes a village, according to Leonie. “Community is key! The people you surround yourself with are more important than ever, as we are all trying to find ways to stay connected without being physically present. Speaking to people either on the phone or through social media can shift your mindset and motivation more than ever before,” she says.

Small, Healthy Habits

Leonie focuses on maintaining small, healthy habits. “Do something every day that brings you joy. Even if that means having something small to look forward to, like having your favourite snacks around the house or changing into an outfit that makes you feel good about yourself,” she says.

Sophie Piper is embracing island life – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the Love Island beauty shows off her fantastic figure in a swimsuit during a tropical vacation at Kandima Maldives with Josh Ritchie. “Island life,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps taken at the picturesque resort. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

She Doesn't Go Under the Knife

Images of a woman saying no to plastic surgery.

Sophie claims she hasn’t gone under the knife. “It’s your own body, you can do what you want to,” she told Grazia, weighing in on the show’s reputation for girls getting work done. “I wouldn’t have surgery myself; I don’t want it. I’ve got such a low pain tolerance as well; I’d be squirming around.”

She Gets Her Steps In

Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Sophie loves paddle boarding. The American Council on Exercise (ACE) agrees that paddle boarding is great for the core and cardio. Water sports can burn an average of 385 calories for a 140-pound male and 436 calories for a female of the same size, per a study conducted by Arizona State University.

She Skis

When Sophie hits the mountains, she throws on a pair of skis. “Ski club,” she captioned a photo. Research has linked downhill skiing to several health benefits. In addition to promoting physical fitness, it may decrease the risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Studies have also found that the more frequently a person skis, the prevalence of known hypercholesterolemia, systemic hypertension, diabetes, the frequency of mental stress, and the occurrence of memory deficits decline.

She Loves Group Fitness

“You’ve got to be body confident,” Sophie told Grazia. One of her favorite sweat methods? Group fitness. “A few gym classes can’t hurt,” she said.

She Goes Snorkeling

On her recent Maldives vacation, Sophie and Josh snorkeled in the crystal clear water. Surprisingly, putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.

Tammy Hembrow is a fitness influencer and expert. She has her own app, called Tammy Fit. Hembrow has a lot of challenges on her app. Recently, she advertised a challenge with a workout video on Instagram. Hembrow captioned the post, “We are 3 days into our first @tammyfitapp challenge of the year & I am more motivated than everrrrr. (Sign ups are still open if you haven’t joined yet - there’s still time to catch up!! - link in bio). Soooo happy seeing so many of my girlies (and guys) in this challenge doing it with me!! And I CANNOT wait to see everyone’s results at the end of the 8 weeks. We got thissss 💪🏼”

She Does Pulldowns

Hembrow is seen doing pulldowns in her Instagram video. Piedmont reports that pulldowns have a lot of benefits. “The lat pulldown is a fantastic exercise for strengthening the latissimus dorsi muscle, the broadest muscle in your back. This muscle promotes good posture and spinal stability. Form is crucial when performing a lat pulldown to prevent injury and reap the best results.”

She Lifts Weights

Tammy Hebrew is seen using dumbbells.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen doing a lot of exercises with weights in her Instagram video. ACE Fitness states that using weights to workout has a lot of benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

She Tracks Her Meals

Hembrow likes to track her meals on her app. She talked about the benefits of this in the caption of this “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. “Make sure to take advantage of the calorie/macro tracking features in the @tammyfitapp during this challenge guys. It can be really helpful in reaching specific goals quicker. And it also can help educate you on your food choices when it comes to nutrition, ratios, hidden calories, overeating or under eating etc. honestly I’d recommend any beginner try it out just to get a good feel for how you’re fuelling your body!! I feel like when people think of ‘meal tracking’ it can be seen as something that seems restrictive or something only bodybuilders do. When in reality it can be such a helpful tool and you can learn things that will actually encourage long term habits 🫶🏼🫶🏼”

She Loves Bananas

Tammy Hebrew has a banana snack.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen enjoying bananas in her “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. The Cleveland Clinic states that bananas have a lot of benefits. “A single medium-sized banana offers about 32 mg of the mineral magnesium, which fulfills around 8% to 10% of your daily magnesium requirement. Magnesium is involved in many processes in your body, including: Blood pressure. Blood sugar levels. Building proteins. Maintaining bone. Muscle function. Nerve function.”

She Loves Cottage Cheese

Tammy Hebrew's snack the contains banana and cottage cheese.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen enjoying her bananas with cottage cheese in the previous Instagram video. Cottage cheese is very healthy. UCLA Health reports, “Cottage cheese’s protein content and low calories make it an ideal food for weight management. Research shows that whether you are trying to lose weight or reduce your risk of overweight or obesity, eating a high-protein diet can help you feel full and satisfied for longer.”
