Balanced Diet, No Restrictions

Gulati doesn't believe in restricting her food, but makes an effort to balance it out with smart choices. "I do not follow any strict diets, but I do try to eat clean at times," she says. "And oh, I'm all about cheat meals! Chaat [Indian savory snacks] is my favorite! Fries, fried momos, burgers and pizzas. If I had the chance, I'd eat all of this everyday of the week!"

Regular Workouts

Gulati works out several times a week to help balance her diet and be fit. "I work out 5 times a week," she says. "I really don't have a choice but to work out regularly since I eat almost everything under the sun, even though I'm vegetarian.  My favorite target areas are my shoulders and glutes."

She Loves Coffee

Gulati is a self-confessed coffee lover. "For the average, healthy person, the AHA recommends limiting caffeine consumption to 400 mg or less daily – to stay within that range, that's about four 8-ounce cups of coffee," says Joseph A. Hill, MD, PhD. "Enjoying coffee in moderation is safe for most people who follow a heart-healthy lifestyle, and might, in fact, be a health-promoting strategy, both socially and physically."

Staying Active

Gulati stays active not just to burn calories, but to support overall health and vitality. "It is supremely important that we take care of our bodies," she says. "It's all that we have, nothing else really matters. Being active and focusing on our physical and mental fitness are the things that can really help us in the long run!"

She's an Entrepreneur

Not only is Gulati a successful actress, she also has her own line of hair extensions. "I always loved hair extensions and did realize it is extremely hard to find good hair extensions that are affordable," she says. "Nobody was doing anything for hair thinning at that point, I saw a gap in the market and took advantage of the same and started an E-Commerce business."
