She Intermittent Fasts

Porizkova spilled some of her diet secrets in this Instagram post. She says that she does a twist on intermittent fasting. "I do the 16/8 diet," she says. "Which just means that you don't eat for 16 hours and then you eat for eight." "Between meals, as long as we don't snack, our insulin levels will go down and our fat cells can then release their stored sugar, to be used as energy. We lose weight if we let our insulin levels go down. The entire idea of IF is to allow the insulin levels to go down far enough and for long enough that we burn off our fat," says Harvard Health.

She Isn't Afraid To Indulge

In the same Instagram post, Porizkova revealed some of her favorite foods. She says in the eight hours she does eat, she isn't afraid of indulging once in a while. "I generally take it as I eat whatever I want for eight hours because I like food. I tend to like healthier foods, but if I eat a fried chicken, I eat a fried chicken—it's just the way it is."

She Likes Vegan Food

Porizkova might not be a vegan, but she likes to eat vegan food on occasion. In her Instagram post, she says that she's a fan of the company Splendid Spoon, particularly their smoothies. "They have all different flavors," she says. "They also have these soups or noodles or rice, too—they have a whole bunch of stuff. It's all vegan, it's really good for you. It's very healthy and I do this so I can go out to dinner and have whatever I want."

She Doesn't Get Work Done

Porizkova talked about her approach to aging in this Us Weekly interview. She says that she doesn't like to have procedures done to her face. "I don't like fillers or Botox because for me, I like the fact that my face is really expressive. People know how I feel and I don't really have to talk."

She Embraces Aging

Porizkova is not afraid of aging. She says in this Instagram post, "I don't actually mind aging, I just want to age well. It's preferable to being dead, right?" "Healthy aging is a hot topic. Whether you're concerned about weight gain, sex drive or chronic diseases, the key to healthy aging is a healthy lifestyle.
