Time in nature can lead to health benefits through contact with the natural elements, participation in physical activity, restoration of mental and emotional health, and time with social contacts. Benefits may be immediate, such as decreased blood pressure, decreased stress levels, enhanced immune system functioning, and restored attention, or transpire over time, such as weight loss, decreased depression, and overall wellness," says one study.

Holland does all of her own stunts on Peacemaker. She described the process of learning them to People. "We're all in the same room together. It's not like they pasted us together in post or anything like that, so we all had to be on time with the choreography and the music as well as keeping a straight face the whole time. So getting us all on the same page was definitely a task, but it was great. I love that we all got to have that experience together. It was so much fun."

4. She Hangs With Animals

Once the pandemic was upon us, I promised myself I would emerge stronger mentally, physically and spiritually. My #workouts were a place to center myself and finally give myself the self-care I needed. I didn’t want a quick fix or fad diets. Those weren’t sustainable for me and don’t last. I was over the moon when I read that. I think it’s, for me, that’s something that I’m a big, um, advocate of, but also it’s something that I think collectively, you know, coming off the last couple years, we’ve all had boughs with. It’s a really important conversation, and so I couldn’t have been more thrilled or honored to be picked for this particular project, and be part of it. I’ve had some friends who’ve dealt with some pretty intense mental health stuff, and I think that definitely helped in that way.”

It’s one of those things, it’s like your creation, your baby, and then you kind of just got to send it out into the world and know that you gave 110 percent, and if it doesn’t find its market or audience, you kind of have to let that go and not let that shadow your next project.”

My goal was to normalize the words so that they might be able to communicate more freely. Now, I stand here in front of you, chalk in hand, needing to normalize my miscarriage. Riverdale star Camila Mendes is living a more low-key life. “I think before the pandemic, I was running a mile a minute,” she told SELF. “And being forced to stop and take stock of my priorities was very life-changing. I think when something like a pandemic happens, it just puts everything into perspective, and you realize how short life is. You start to think about how you want to live it, and what you could do differently. So I think in many ways, I’ve reevaluated my priorities and started to sit with myself more. And I think a lot of people have done that. It’s good.

If you reach out to patient services with them, they can sort of hold your hand and guide you through that."

Breeders star, Daisy Haggard, opened up about motherhood in an interview with Grazia Daily. “Having children is liberating because, at the moment, nothing is as important, so that really helps me with big decisions and things that used to scare me. It helps me put those things in perspective. I used to agonise about my decisions regarding work, where as now it’s really simple: is it worth not seeing the kids that day? [I feel like] my whole life, I sat in the flat in my pants and didn’t achieve much and then
I had kids and suddenly had no time, was absolutely exhausted, and found myself achieving more than I had before, so that was a revelation. I think I had the luxury of too much time and not enough discipline. Now, when I’m away from them, I’m not going to waste that.”

Then my father died, and in my grief, I gained twice the weight I’d lost. For decades, I struggled to reach an elusive number on the scale, binge eating and battling bulimia. I have tried every diet imaginable, including the notorious ‘Weigh Down’ scam, which encourages people to pray away their hunger. When I see the doctor, I must strenuously advocate for myself because physicians assume all my ailments stem from my size.”

"It's good to have people around you that are not afraid to say these things to you. It's so important. I'm feeling so much better."

Ashley Benson, star of Her Smell and Spring Breakers, wore a swimsuit this week and why not? It’s basically summertime, if you check out what celebs like Suki Waterhouse, Aleida Nuñez, Becca Edwards, Sammi Hanratty, Kate Hudson and Shama Sikander are up to. How do they stay so fit? Read on to see all the ways the celebs stay in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. Ashley Benson

Benson finds peace in NYC. “In L.A., I had anxiety all the time with the paparazzi, and my house became my safe place,” she told Vogue. “It made me very codependent with friends and relationships. In New York, I can walk around and be by myself. It gives me a lot of peace.”

Translation: “🧘🏽‍♀️✨🙌 I want to share with you that I have practiced meditation for a long time and in this world full of uncertainty and anxiety it helps you create a state of consciousness and peace…#meditation never abandon your soul✨.”

3. Suki Waterhouse

Suki-Waterhouse-1Suki Waterhouse/Instagram

Suki once said about working out: “I do, I really enjoy it; I need to, I’m obsessed. I stopped working out recently as I was on a film and I was really tired and I then went to the gym a few times and found I was so much more able to perform with my body feeling that strength through it again. And mentally, I was going on set and able to do my job better as I felt stronger again. I do different things - I do Vinyasa yoga and I’ll work out with a trainer Dan Roberts in Richmond Park near where I live. I do drills and running there - it’s an amazing place. I love the idea of running up hills and rolling around in mud - it’s my favourite time of the week and Dan really pushes me. He’s hardcore. I also go to TriYoga and hot yoga (not Bikram) and I do occasional Pilates, which I should do more of."

4. Becca Edwards

The Ex on the Beach star is often getting some sun. Just remember: “Tanning under the sun or a sunlamp may give modest protection to those who are able to tan well. But the protection it gives does not come close to that derived from the use of a sunscreen. The larger issue is that any change in skin color from tanning is a sign of damage from ultraviolet (UV) radiation. Repeated exposure to UV radiation — whether from the sun or a tanning bed — increases your risk of premature skin aging and skin cancer,” says the Mayo Clinic.

5. Sammi Hanratty

Yellowjackets’ Hanratty has used TRX bands during her workouts. “Suspension training does it all. It improves muscular strength and endurance while simultaneously improving joint mobility and flexibility. Due to the unstable nature of suspension training, the exercises constantly engage your core and improve your balance. There is no limit to the progressions you can do, and everyone from the most novice exercisers to the most advanced athletes can benefit from using the TRX Suspension Trainer,” says ACE Fitness.

6. Kate Hudson

“I’m definitely challenging myself in new ways, which I need,” she told People. “I like to be able to set new goals to see what I can accomplish, and I love how flexible and strong I feel after a good workout, especially doing Pilates, which never gets easier.”

7. Shama Sikander

Love with James Milliron helped Shama through a depression. “I had just met him. I was still going through my bouts of depression. I would get depressed every now and then. When I would go through these feelings I just did not want anybody around me, I wanted people around me, but I would just push them to go away from me. And nobody ever dared to go against that decision, everybody would leave. But he was the only one who did not leave,” she said, according to Pinkvilla.com.

Leonie Hanne is living her best life in Thailand – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the German model flaunts her fantastic figure in a $750 Missoni bathing suit while enjoying a boating day in the tropics. “She dreamed of a tropical adventure 🦋,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. “Stunning,” commented one of her followers. ”So beautiful,” added another. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Coffee

Leonie enjoys the perks of caffeine. In one of her posts from Thailand, she drinks a cup of coffee at the poolside. According to the Cleveland Clinic, drinking coffee in moderation has several benefits. “It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function,” they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.

Pilates

Leonie does Pilates at the super exclusive London studio Pilates in the Clouds. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress, and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

At-Home Workouts

Leonie tries to get a workout in daily, preferably in the morning. I still try to get up early to maintain a sense of routine. I start every day with a quick at-home workout and a homemade acai bowl, before starting work on emails and content creation. I’ve been getting really into TikTok lately, it’s funny and keeps me feeling energised!” she told Arcadia.

Community

It takes a village, according to Leonie. “Community is key! The people you surround yourself with are more important than ever, as we are all trying to find ways to stay connected without being physically present. Speaking to people either on the phone or through social media can shift your mindset and motivation more than ever before,” she says.

Small, Healthy Habits

Leonie focuses on maintaining small, healthy habits. “Do something every day that brings you joy. Even if that means having something small to look forward to, like having your favourite snacks around the house or changing into an outfit that makes you feel good about yourself,” she says.

How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

She Doesn't Go Under the Knife

Sophie claims she hasn’t gone under the knife. “It’s your own body, you can do what you want to,” she told Grazia, weighing in on the show’s reputation for girls getting work done. “I wouldn’t have surgery myself; I don’t want it. I’ve got such a low pain tolerance as well; I’d be squirming around.”

She Gets Her Steps In

Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Sophie loves paddle boarding. The American Council on Exercise (ACE) agrees that paddle boarding is great for the core and cardio. Water sports can burn an average of 385 calories for a 140-pound male and 436 calories for a female of the same size, per a study conducted by Arizona State University.

She Skis

When Sophie hits the mountains, she throws on a pair of skis. “Ski club,” she captioned a photo. Research has linked downhill skiing to several health benefits. In addition to promoting physical fitness, it may decrease the risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Studies have also found that the more frequently a person skis, the prevalence of known hypercholesterolemia, systemic hypertension, diabetes, the frequency of mental stress, and the occurrence of memory deficits decline.

She Loves Group Fitness

“You’ve got to be body confident,” Sophie told Grazia. One of her favorite sweat methods? Group fitness. “A few gym classes can’t hurt,” she said.

She Goes Snorkeling

On her recent Maldives vacation, Sophie and Josh snorkeled in the crystal clear water. Surprisingly, putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.

Tammy Hembrow is a fitness influencer and expert. She has her own app, called Tammy Fit. Hembrow has a lot of challenges on her app. Recently, she advertised a challenge with a workout video on Instagram. Hembrow captioned the post, “We are 3 days into our first @tammyfitapp challenge of the year & I am more motivated than everrrrr. (Sign ups are still open if you haven’t joined yet - there’s still time to catch up!! - link in bio). Soooo happy seeing so many of my girlies (and guys) in this challenge doing it with me!! And I CANNOT wait to see everyone’s results at the end of the 8 weeks. We got thissss 💪🏼”

She Does Pulldowns

Hembrow is seen doing pulldowns in her Instagram video. Piedmont reports that pulldowns have a lot of benefits. “The lat pulldown is a fantastic exercise for strengthening the latissimus dorsi muscle, the broadest muscle in your back. This muscle promotes good posture and spinal stability. Form is crucial when performing a lat pulldown to prevent injury and reap the best results.”

She Lifts Weights

Tammy Hebrew is seen using dumbbells.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen doing a lot of exercises with weights in her Instagram video. ACE Fitness states that using weights to workout has a lot of benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

She Tracks Her Meals

Hembrow likes to track her meals on her app. She talked about the benefits of this in the caption of this “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. “Make sure to take advantage of the calorie/macro tracking features in the @tammyfitapp during this challenge guys. It can be really helpful in reaching specific goals quicker. And it also can help educate you on your food choices when it comes to nutrition, ratios, hidden calories, overeating or under eating etc. honestly I’d recommend any beginner try it out just to get a good feel for how you’re fuelling your body!! I feel like when people think of ‘meal tracking’ it can be seen as something that seems restrictive or something only bodybuilders do. When in reality it can be such a helpful tool and you can learn things that will actually encourage long term habits 🫶🏼🫶🏼”

She Loves Bananas

Tammy Hebrew has a banana snack.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen enjoying bananas in her “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. The Cleveland Clinic states that bananas have a lot of benefits. “A single medium-sized banana offers about 32 mg of the mineral magnesium, which fulfills around 8% to 10% of your daily magnesium requirement. Magnesium is involved in many processes in your body, including: Blood pressure. Blood sugar levels. Building proteins. Maintaining bone. Muscle function. Nerve function.”

She Loves Cottage Cheese

Tammy Hebrew's snack the contains banana and cottage cheese.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen enjoying her bananas with cottage cheese in the previous Instagram video. Cottage cheese is very healthy. UCLA Health reports, “Cottage cheese’s protein content and low calories make it an ideal food for weight management. Research shows that whether you are trying to lose weight or reduce your risk of overweight or obesity, eating a high-protein diet can help you feel full and satisfied for longer.”
