MMA Fighter, Pearl Gonzalez, donned a patriotic bathing suit, and posted a series of photos on Instagram. Gonzalez’s bikini was inspired by the American flag, and she captioned the post, “In memory of many, in honor of all. Thank you for your service!” How does she stay so fit? 1. She Sticks To A Routine

Gonzalez revealed some of her wellness secrets in an interview with 4Life. She says that one of her secrets is having a set routine. “Through training, studying high-level athletes, reading books, and listening to podcasts, I’ve learned that success lies in a set, everyday routine that includes daily food planning and mental preparation. This routine has helped me evolve as an athlete and stay focused and disciplined.

2. She Doesn’t Want To Lose

Gonzalez tells 4Life that she stays motivated in her fighting career. She says that she wants to win fights, which pushes her to work hard. “I lost my debut professional fight, and that was a wakeup call. My competitor had more experience, but I wasn’t mentally or physically prepared. I never wanted to feel that way again, and it pushed me to be a better fighter. Today, I’m competing at the highest level of my sport.”

3. She Loves Smoothies

Being a professional fighter, Gonzalez has to eat healthy. However, she tells 4Life that she manages to eat healthy, and still enjoy the sweet things she likes. Gonzalez says that she likes to make smoothies as a way of doing so. “If I crave something sweet, I blend PRO-TF Chocolate with cherries, bananas, cacao nibs, and chia seeds. I put it in a glass with unsweetened coconut flakes, candied pecans, goji berries, and cinnamon on top with a fancy straw.”

4. She Loves Protein Bowls

Another thing Gonzalez likes to eat is protein bowls. She says to 4Life, “For protein bowls, I blend PRO-TF with frozen fruit and almond milk so it’s thick and creamy. I top it with bananas, strawberries, blueberries, granola, coconut flakes, honey, and cinnamon.”

5. She Doesn’t Stress About The Small Stuff

Gonzalez tells MMA Uncaged that she has learned to not let the hard things bother her too much. While she admits that this is hard for her to do, she is still working on it. “I think one of the toughest lessons I’ve had to learn in my life is, if I can’t change something, if I can’t affect it, why let that stress me out? Why let that bother me? Why let that affect me?”
