Penelope has been on the Mediterranean diet for years. “Spain is my country and Madrid is my city and I love living there,”she told The Daily Mirror. “My family and friends are all there so that’s my place. I love Spanish food. My diet is the Mediterranean diet, which is good food. I eat well, but I try to eat healthy.”

2. She Dances

According to Penelope, her main method of staying in shape is dancing four hours a day. She told The Daily Mirror that she was trained as a ballerina, but was forced to choose between dance and acting as a career. “I love ballet and I love dancing and it’s a little boring for me to go to the gym because I’m used to the dancing discipline – it’s really hard but much more fun,” she explained.

3. She Does Bikram Yoga

Penelope revealed to InStyle in 2017 that Bikram yoga “completely changed” her body. "You're drenched in sweat throughout the entire class. It's 90 minutes, but once you conquer 60, the last 30 gets easier," she explained. The practice is also energy boosting, she maintains. "I used to be sluggish, and now my level of energy is through the roof. It's like magic, but you have to earn that magic," she said.

4. She Avoids Dairy, Sugar, and Gluten

There are three rules that Penelope always follows. “I try to avoid dairy and sugar, and I can’t eat gluten because I have a big intolerance,” she told InStyle. “I eat lots of fruits, vegetables, and quality protein from free-range animals.”

Penelope is big on hydration, telling InStyle that drinks “gallons of water,” adding that hydration was previously not a priority of hers.
