She Loves Bikram Yoga

One thing Cruz likes to do to stay in shape is practice yoga. And there's a certain type of yoga she enjoys. "I do Bikram yoga," she told InStyle. "Which has completely changed my body. "You're drenched in sweat throughout the entire class. It's 90 minutes, but once you conquer 60, the last 30 gets easier."

She Eats Healthy

Cruz makes sure to eat healthy. She opened up about her diet to InStyle. Cruz says that she is very specific about what she eats. "I try to avoid dairy and sugar," she says. "And I can't eat gluten, because I have a big intolerance. I eat lots of fruits, vegetables, and quality protein from free-range animals."

She Takes Care Of Her Skin

Cruz has amazing skin, and she makes sure to take care of it. She revealed some of her secrets to ELLE Canada. "I do dry body brushing every once in a while; it helps to eliminate toxins. Also, my makeup artist, Pablo Iglesias, used a jade roller on me on the set of our last movie, and guess what? It really works."

She Stays Hydrated

Cruz tells InStyle that she makes sure to stay hydrated. "I also drink gallons of water now, which is something I wasn't doing." She also says that she has removed some vices from her life. "I barely drink alcohol, and I quit smoking years ago. I don't miss that in my life."

She Studies Nutrition

Cruz tells ELLE Canada that she is learning a lot more about nutrition. Specifically, she wants to learn about hormones. "I'm constantly reading about nutrition and medicine, especially when it comes to hormones. I have learned so much in the past few years from doctors like Habib Sadeghi, Nigma Talib, Valentín Fuster and Dominique Fradin-Read, and I'm so grateful for the incredible knowledge they share."
