Perrie Edwards, the singer and wellness maven, has been iconic since landing a spot in Little Mix and she's still making headlines today. Her Instagram is full of photos of her fit figure, and her live performance outfits demonstrate she still can pack a punch. In a recent Instagram post, Edwards enjoyed a day by the pool with her family. She posed in a black bathing suit, her abs on display. The caption was a simple "sun" emoji. How does she stay so fit? She Does Planks

Edwards works with trainer, Danielle Peazer, to help herself stay in shape. Peazer broke down the singer's fitness secrets in an interview with New Magazine. Peazer says that Edwards does a lot of planks. "I had her doing a plank for two minutes, which is a very long time for anyone," she said. "The important thing to remember is that planks, when done properly, are a terrific starter exercise for teaching trunk, hip and shoulder stability by integrating a full-body contraction. A good plank sets the stage for successful movement making planks an ideal starting point for activity rather than a goal of not moving for more time," says ACE Fitness.

She Exercises On Her Own

While Edwards does a lot of workouts with Peazer, she also does some on her own. Peazer tells New Magazine that she was proud of the singer's commitment. "She also did workouts when I wasn't there, which I was really impressed with."

She's Dedicated

Edwards is extremely dedicated to working out. Peazer told The Sun that she and Edwards do a lot of fitness sessions together. "I've known Perrie for quite a few years and she texted me just over two weeks before she was about to go on holiday. Over 14 days, I saw her 12 of those days. It was intense.

She Wants To Feel Better

While Edwards works out to lose weight and stay in shape, that is not her main reason for doing so. Peazer tells The Sun that the singer is more focused on how she feels. "It was about how she felt in herself. She wanted to feel her best, feel her most confident."

She Does Dance Cardio

 Edwards already does a lot of dancing for her live performances and music videos. However, she also does dance inspired workouts. Peazer tells The Sun that she does dance cardio exercises with the singer. "For me, it would be a dance cardio with things like jumping jacks." Try this, from the Mayo Clinic:
