She Eats What She Wants

You won't find Pia starving herself. "'I don't diet. I do what I want and I do what makes me happy. I exercise, but if I want to buy an entire bag of Cheetos, I'm going to, and if I want a green juice, I'll do that too," she told Daily Mail Australia. "I don't like restrictions, it's not the way to live." "There's no one right answer, says registered dietitian Andrea Dunn, RD," to the Cleveland Clinic. "The best diet is the one you're going to follow," she says. "And I don't say that tongue in cheek! There's no one diet that will fit everybody's needs, personalities, lifestyles or food preferences." "Dunn often recommends a diet she calls a moderate protein plan — but it could also be described as a moderate carbohydrate plan. This plan still emphasizes whole grains and produce and limits processed foods and added sugar. But it allows for more animal proteins for those carnivores-at-heart."

Journaling is Pia's go-to self-care ritual. "'(Writing in my journal) makes me (feel) more secure in a way," she told Daily Mail Australia. "Things that make me feel good (apart from makeup) are just relaxing, taking a bath, writing in my journal and just getting my thoughts out. It helps me to just kind of settle down and see what my goals are and what I'm going through, and that makes me (feel) more secure in a way." As for social media, "I'm on there just to share life and be positive and happy. I don't let (negative) things affect me. I do what I want and I do what makes me happy."

She Is Active Outdoors

When she isn't working, Pia likes being outdoors. A few of her favorite activities to blast calories al fresco? Paddleboarding in her swimsuit and riding horses. "Never thought I'd fall in love with riding horses," she captioned one Instagram post.

She Boxes

Pia fights her way to a hot body with the help of boxing. She boxes at the Ten Goose Boxing Gym in Van Nuys, California. "Therapy," she captioned this video. "Unlike traditional boxing that requires you to spar with a partner, fitness boxing for older adults involves throwing punches at the air or at a punching bag, usually in a class. There are two main types of these exercise classes. In one, you follow a leader and do a series of boxing moves all choreographed to bouncy music, similar to an aerobics class. The moves include a combination of large, sweeping punches (crosses, hooks, uppercuts); smaller punches (jabs); squats (ducks); and short, quick steps forward and back. The other type of exercise class involves strength training, stretching, and hitting a punching bag. Don't have the strength to stand and do boxing moves? Both types of classes are available for people who wish to remain seated while punching at the air or at a punching bag," says Harvard Health.
