She Dances
Lott is a performer, which means she does a lot of dancing, and she was even a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing. She's also posted some fun videos of herself dancing on Instagram. Aerobic dance "is an aerobic activity that can count toward the amount of aerobic activity recommended for most healthy adults by the Department of Health and Human Services," says the Mayo Clinic. "The guidelines recommend at least 150 minutes of moderate aerobic activity or 75 minutes of vigorous aerobic activity a week, or a combination of moderate and vigorous activity. But even small amounts of physical activity are helpful. Being active for short periods of time throughout the day can add up to provide health benefits."
She's Vegan
In 2020, Lott revealed that she was adapting a vegan lifestyle, and is eating vegan food products. Lott appeared in an ad for oat milk that was inspired by the famous 'Got Milk' campaign. Lott told Metro, "Lots have changed since 2010, and plant-based has become a big part of my life, so I was delighted Alpro asked me to rock the 'moat-stache' in 2020."
She Doesn't Diet
Lott says that she doesn't diet or deprive herself of any indulgences she wants. "I don't diet but I try to be good generally," she said to Express. "I wouldn't deprive myself of anything, though." "Take a good hard look at that new diet you're considering. Does it seem like it provides enough energy to keep you functioning? While caloric needs vary based on how active you are, your age, and your gender, the average daily needs for an adult range from 1,600 to 2,400 calories for women and 2,000 to 3,000 for men. If the diet you've been mulling over has you taking in less than the recommended daily intake, chances are good that it will make you sick," says our sister site Eat This, Not That!
She Keeps Her Workouts Fun
Lott revealed some of her favorite workouts to Express, and she says that she likes to keep her exercise fun. However, for Lott, this means avoiding using equipment at the gym. "Rather than going to the gym or running I prefer doing yoga or boot- camp classes because then I don't realise I'm working out – it's just fun."
She Pampers Herself
Lott says to Express that a big part of her wellness routine is making sure she stays pampered. "I love massages and facials," she says. "If I could go to a spa every morning that would be amazing – I hardly ever get time to go."
