She Changed Her Eating Habits
Chopra revealed some of her wellness secrets to People. She says that the pandemic made her change her lifestyle, specifically her eating habits. "I also pay attention to my diet. I was very used to eating dinner right before I went to bed, but I changed that completely. I try not to eat after 8 o'clock.
She's More Aware
Chopra tells People that she is a lot more aware of her body and her health now. "For me, I have to say, during my twenties, I wasn't someone who was very concerned about my health and wellness. I was chugging coffees all day and eating whenever I had time and sleeping whenever I had time. And I used to always be told when you're in your thirties, it will be different, and my thirties hit and it was. And I think I got aware about the fact that I want to take care of myself and of my well-being."
She Invests In Herself
Chopra tells People that her definition of wellness is looking out for herself. She says that it helps her be there for her loved ones. "If you have the ability to look out for your well-being, you also have the ability to look out for your family and friend's well-being," she says. "If you are inherently happy inside and you're investing in yourself and taking care of your own self, that's truly what wellness means.
She Doesn't Diet
Chopra says that she does eat healthy, but she also doesn't believe in dieting. She says that she likes to indulge on the weekends. "You don't have to starve yourself," she told Women's Health. "I love having my pizzas and burgers and buffalo wings, on the side, for sure."
She Exercises When She Needs To
Chopra tells Vogue that she doesn't over exercise. She says that she only works out when she feels it is necessary. "Honestly, I work out only when I need to. My body responds very quickly to exercise, so I don't need too long to tone up and get into shape"
