1. She Plays Tennis

Stuhlmann is a tennis influencer. Naturally, the sport is one of the ways she stays in shape. Stuhlmann is a former college athlete, and has been playing almost all her life. “My love for tennis began when I was only five years old,” she tells Fitness Gurls. “I’ve loved it ever since. My whole life has been tennis.”

2. She’s True To Herself

Stuhlmann opened up about her career to Fitness Gurls. She says that staying true to herself is one of her biggest secrets to her success. “One of the biggest things I have learned is that once you truly start being yourself, things around you start falling into place. There is a certain peace that comes along with being truly you. People will judge you no matter what you do, so you might as well be happy and be yourself.”

3. She’s Learned From Her Experiences

Stuhlmann tells Fitness Gurls that being a college athlete has taught her a lot of things that she still uses today. “I loved being an athlete, and playing college tennis taught me many qualities—time management, work ethic, and resilience,” she says. “Committing to my studies was not as easy for me as developing my tennis career. Fortunately, I was provided with great tutors and mentors at Mizzou that helped me stay on top of my studies. Sometimes outsourcing and working as a team with other people is a good way to succeed. I was super disciplined with my training and workout routines, and once I finished playing in college, I transferred that into my professional career. Now instead of preparing and training for big tennis matches, I focus on everything I have going on in my professional life and how I can best show up for all the various work I do within the sport.”

4. She’s Independent

In an interview with The Up & In Show, Stuhlmann says that she is very independent. She says that playing tennis has given her this quality. “That's kind of the beauty of tennis though. It's like you're out there on your own. There's not coaching. They just started kind of putting coaching into the game, but there's not coaching. You're out on your own. You make your own decisions. You gotta remember the game plan you and the coach talked about, and it is kind of an individual thing.”

5. She Sticks To Her Goals

When it comes to her success, Stuhlmann says that she didn’t do anything out of the ordinary. She tells The Up & In Show that she just stuck to her goals, and that’s how she made it happen. “I've gotten asked a few times, ‘how did you get to where you are?’ And I'm like, honestly, like it's such an unconventional route. Like I couldn't recommend anything to you, it's just sticking to your goals… I've just kind of had to discover and make my own kind of path here, and there have been a lot of challenges, but in the end it's definitely been worth it.”
