Don't Listen to Trolls
Radhika suggests not listening to haters. "I don't read the comments very much. So, I don't know if I am criticized or not, really. To be honest, criticism is not bad. You can read it and see whether it makes sense to you," she told Indian Express.
Move Your Body
"I find it really bizarre," Radhika once said about people who share their workouts online. While you won't find her sweating on Instagram she does move a lot. "But I do yoga. I go for a run or a swim. These are the three things I love doing."
Eat What You Want in Moderation
"I eat absolutely everything. I try to eat in moderation on most days," Radhika dished to Indian Express about how she approaches diet. "When I am on holiday, I indulge a lot and after that, for a month I try to eat healthy so that I lose the weight and go back to my average weight and then eat again. I just indulge once or twice a week in my normal routine."
Cheat On Occasion
Radhika promotes cheating on occasion. "I have a massive sweet tooth," Radhika confessed to Indian Express. "So, lots of cakes, ice-creams, tiramisu, croissants. I absolutely love anything sweet."
Love and Accept Yourself
Radhika promotes self-love and reminds her fans that there isn't a one-size-fits-all definition of beauty. "In our society, people are expected to have an ideal shape and size. They are expected to fit into the smallest size. Everyone should accept and love themselves regardless of how society and popular culture view ideal shape, size, and appearance. The true purpose is to love yourself the way you are, whether you are thin or curvy. They should not only love themselves but realize their self-worth which is important," she told Indian Express.
Prioritize Hydration
Hydration is key, according to Radhika. Not only is it beneficial for your health but for beauty. "Water is the best to hydrate from within. If it's too hot, I'll have coconut or lemon water," she stated, per Vogue India.
Take Supplements
Radhika makes sure to get all the nutrients she needs by taking daily supplements. "I supplement my diet with flaxseed powder, probiotics, and Vitamin C and B12," she shared, per Vogue. Flaxseeds "are the richest natural source of alpha linolenic acid (ALA), an omega-3 fatty acid that's also found in soybean oil, canola oil, and walnuts. Because our bodies can't make omega-3 fats, we must get them from food. The other main omega-3s, eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), are found mainly in fatty fish. Nutrition experts recommend getting at least one rich source of omega-3 fats daily. So if you don't eat fish, flaxseeds are a good option," says Harvard Health.
