She Lost 22 Pounds in a Month

In a 2020 Instagram post Rafaella revealed that she had lost 22 pounds in just a month with the help of Dr. Douglas Tigre, who personalized a treatment plan with her. Nutritionist Luiza Lara "created a protocol aimed at achieving my goal, which was to lose weight, prioritizing my health as well! Following this goal, Dr. Luiza set up a totally calculated eating plan based on my needs and my body composition that was measured through the bioimpedance test (InBody 770) done in their office!" she said. '

She Rides Bikes

Rafaella enjoys riding bikes when she is on vacation. The Cleveland Clinic explains that biking, a low-impact aerobic exercise, is great for building muscle, improving strength and flexibility, and improving balance. It can also boost mental health and help other health conditions, including arthritis.

She Went on an Anti-Inflammation Diet

"The food plan did not have severe restrictions and was made according to my routine, with the objective of stimulating the body's natural detoxification and deinflammation phases to eliminate toxins, improve swelling and retention, reducing the percentage of fat and preserving the muscle mass!" Rafaella said in the post. "The food plan was fully aligned with supplementation and herbal medicines to control anxiety, compulsion, in addition to increasing the disposition for training!"

She Goes for Walks

Aside from strength training, Rafaella also enjoys going for walks. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day led to a reduced risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace

She Cut Sweets From Her Diet

One major change Rafaella had to make was eliminating sweets from her diet. "I never thought I'd be able to stop eating sweets like I used to," she said in a post. "I love junk food… I got used to eating right, at the right times, so today for me to eat a sweet is only if I really feel like it, not before. Before, I would eat until I was finished. There were times when I ate five bars of chocolate in one night, before going to sleep."
