She Studies Kinesiology
Leviss is open about studying kinesiology, or the study of body movement, at Sonoma State University. This likely gives her a good idea of not just fitness, but wellness as a whole. In an Instagram video of her doing Pilates, Leviss wrote "As a kinesiology major, I am an advocate for physical fitness. I also believe that mental health is just as important, if not more important than physical health."
She Loves Pilates
In an Instagram video, Leviss revealed that she is a fan of Pilates. Leviss is seen doing leg drops, using gym equipment, and even does a candlestick that leads to her doing a backward roll to an arabesque. Leviss captioned the video, "Pilates has helped me manage my anxiety and depression, which is why I have embraced in this art at @foundationpilates. I strongly encourage anyone who also struggles with mental health issues to try Pilates."
She Gets Plenty of Fresh Air
One look at Leviss' Instagram, and you'll always see her getting outside. Whether she's enjoying time on a boat, walking her dog in The Grove or a park, Leviss enjoys the California weather. Getting outside helps our bodies exercise and get Vitamin D. In a post on WebMD reviewed by Carmelita Swiner, MD, the post stated that getting outside is "Important for your bones, blood cells, and immune system. It also helps your body absorb more of certain minerals, like calcium and phosphorus. Your body needs sunlight to make it, but you don't need much. In the summer, just getting sun for 5 to 15 minutes, 2 or 3 times a week, should do it. In the winter, you might need a bit more."
She Takes Care of Her Skin
Leviss told BravoTV.com that she tries to take good care of her skin. Leviss says that she uses Herbz Original Herbal Body Moisture at night. "If you have really dry skin, layer it on, sleep in it — and when you wake up, your skin's gonna be feeling so nice and moisturized," she said.
She Lives Her Life With No Regrets
Appearing on TV, especially a reality series, can be difficult for people. You have to relive some not-so-flattering and embarrassing moments, you're subject to criticism, and this can take a toll on your mental health. But Leviss told BravoTV.com that she lives life with no regrets. "I don't regret anything because I am true to who I am," she said. "Well, watching myself, I feel like I don't give myself enough credit when I'm filming. Because I see the scenes afterward and I'm like, 'Oh my gosh, I could have brought this up or I could have, you know, defended myself more at this point.' But I think I was, I just overthink it in my head. I feel like I need to stop doing that and just kind of go with my instincts more."
