Witherspoon revealed to Women’s Health that she has an unexpected exercise. “I’m a bit of a hip-hop dancer,” she says. “That’s sort of a secret a lot of people don’t know. I like to dance. I’ve got a dance in my heart at all times.”
2. She Starts Her Day With A Smoothie

Witherspoon and her family like to start their days with a smoothie. And she has a personal favorite, Kim Snyder’s Glowing Green smoothie. Witherspoon revealed her recipe on her Instagram, which contains spinach, romaine lettuce, celery, apple, pear, and lemon. “I know it looks like it tastes gross,” Witherspoon says in the video, “but it tastes so good!”
3. She Has Gone To Burn 60 Classes

According to People, Witherspoon and her friends love to go Burn 60 classes in Los Angeles. Burn 60 consists of 45 or 60 minute classes that focus on training one section of the body.“It’s a smart way to get the most bang out of your buck if you have limited time, because you spend half of your time doing strength training work with resistance bands and dumbbells and barbells and body weight, and half of the time on the treadmill getting your cardio in,” Burn 60 trainer Keith Anthony told People.
4. She Works Out With Her Friends

According to PopSugar.com, Witherspoon likes to workout with her friends. She told Women’s Health, “There’s a group of us, and I’m like, 'Ok girls! What are we doing today?' Often, it's Body by Simone. It incorporates dance, strength training, and stretching, and it’s all in an hour, which is perfectly doable for me. I do that a couple times a week. I also run, I Spin, I do yoga. Physical strength is important."
5. She Gets Fresh Air

When preparing for her role in the movie This Means War, Witherspoon and her trainer, Michael George, did a lot of outdoor exercises, and incorporated workouts into her hikes. George told Shape.com, “Reese was already in great shape, but we wanted to improve her general fitness. We definitely accomplished that!" George revealed that he and Witherspoon would hike with light dumbbells, and would stop to do exercises like strength training and yoga poses on their hikes.
6. She Doesn’t Believe In Diets
Witherspoon has been open about her dislike for fad diets, and says that she just tries to eat healthy. “I work out all the time anyway just to stay healthy. I don’t believe in crash dieting or anything like that,” she told UsWeekly. Witherspoon’s trainer, Michael George, told Shape.com that Witherspoon tries to eat clean, and eats small meals and snacks.
7. She Uses A Foam Roller

In a video on Witherspoon’s Instagram, she revealed that she is an avid runner, and uses a foam roller to help recover from her workouts. "Some of y'all are doing a Run/Walk Challenge with me this month. Still time to join us if you feel inclined," Witherspoon wrote in the caption. "I thought I would share my daily roll out routine courtesy of @kadeefit, (Because it’s important to stretch!) Hope you have a great workout!" In the video, Witherspoon is seen rolling out her glutes and quads, and stretches out her hip flexors.
