“In my 30s, I learned to accept my body for what it is. This is what looks good on it. It will never look good in that thing over there with all the fabric and the bows and the ruffles. It just won't,” Reese told InStyle.

2. She Hydrates

In an Instagram Reel, Reese revealed a few of her go-to health habits. One of them? Starting the day hydrated. “Start the day with a big glass of water,” she wrote. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

3. She Eats Healthy

Reese Witherspoon is back in a bathing suit in Legally Blonde—and Kerry Washington is crashing the party! In honor of Reese’s 46th birthday yesterday, Washington spliced herself in a swimsuit into swimsuit footage from the iconic movie. “Deleted scenes from #LittleFiresEverywhere 🔥😱😳,” she captioned it. “JK!!!!! 😂 Just me channeling my inner Elle Woods in honor of the birthday girl and the biggest ray of sunshine @reesewitherspoon. 1. She Takes Daily Walks

Reese prioritizes daily walks for a little exercise. It’s inexpensive, gives her fresh air, and helps her with her physical and mental health. According to thechalkboardmag.com, she even started a run club, admittedly more of a walking club, to keep her focused. "Physical activity, such as walking, is important for weight control because it helps you burn calories. If you add 30 minutes of brisk walking to your daily routine, you could burn about 150 more calories a day. Of course, the more you walk and the quicker your pace, the more calories you'll burn," says the Mayo Clinic.

2. She Spends Time in Nature

Taking things a step further, Reese will often set out into the woods to go on a more intense hike when she wants to challenge herself. The different terrain can be beneficial for various muscles in your body. It’s something you can do alone to clear your mind or with some friends to catch up and socialize.

3. She Stretches and Foam Rolls

28th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards - ArrivalsFrazer Harrison/Getty Images

Witherspoon does a series of floor stretches with her foam roller to make sure that her muscles are kept in tip top shape. There are a lot of benefits to foam rolling, essentially giving yourself a deep tissue massage, working out the muscles. Try a foam roller on yoru upper back, says the Mayo Clinic:

"1. Lie on your back and place a foam roller underneath your mid-back. 2. Lift your hips off the oor and place your hands behind your ears to open your chest. 3. Slowly push through your heels to move yourself back and forth from your mid-back to the top of your shoulder blades. 4. Keep your spine and head aligned in a neutral position. 5. When you nd a sore spot, stop and hold the position for at least 30 seconds until you can feel the muscle relax."

4. She Connects With Her Fans For Support

Premiere Of Illumination's "Sing 2" - ArrivalsMatt Winkelmeyer/Getty Images

Just like any normal person, Reese can use support sometimes. She even started a workout challenge on the treadmill to avoid running otuside in the cold where she did a series of intervals. Usually focusing on a book club with her fans, back in December she encouraged them to set monthly activity goals with her.

5. She Still Has Fun

2021 InStyle Awards At The Getty CenterRandy Shropshire/Getty Images

Reese seems to have a really good surrounding support system of friends and family and she loves hosting pool parties and get togethers. At those parties, she’ll sometimes relax a little with some of her favorite southern foods. That could include fried chicken, fried okra, squash casserole, and more. She doesn’t deprive herself, but loves to include veggies. Everything in moderation, if she indulges one day she also really loves green smoothies and veggie packed meals. It’s about balance.

1. In A World Of Gym-Obsessed Individuals, She Is Easy Going

28th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards - ArrivalsAxelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic

Truthfully, most of what she does is free and low key, like walking or hiking. She certainly believes in fitness, but not necessarily in overdoing it. The Legally Blonde star has been delivering approachable wellness tips and while simultaneously promoting southern cuisine and hospitality through her cookbook, Whiskey in a Teacup.

2. She Takes Time to Stretch It Out

She prioritizes making her body feel good after and before workouts by using the foam roller and being sure to stretch her muscles out properly. Follow this guide on the Mayo Clinic to start using a foam roller to “loosen up before a workout and reduce muscle soreness afterwards. Try these foam rolling techniques to restore your sore muscles. Go very slowly and hold each position for 30 seconds or more. Remember to never roll over a joint or bone.”

3. She Takes Plenty of Walks

Premiere Of Illumination's "Sing 2" - ArrivalsAxelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic

Walking it’s probably the easiest and cheapest way to fit in a little daily exercise and has so many benefits. You don’t always have to be completely stressed out and work your body to the max to see results. Regular brisk walks can lead to improved cardiovascular fitness, increased muscle endurance, better sleep, less stress, and more according to the Mayo Clinic.

4. She Enjoys Exploring the Wilderness

Channeling her role in the movie Wild, Reese immerses herself in nature, getting lost on a nice hike while hanging out with a friend or clearing her mind. This is yet another free activity that you can do that is great for your body and for stress. Hiking regularly can keep mental and physical health issues away.

5. She Stays Focused

6th Annual InStyle Awards - ArrivalsAxelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic

Whether she is hiking with a friend or connecting with her Instagram following about an informal, goal-oriented workout challenge, she still does breakdowns of workouts at home on the treadmill or running outside. She loves high intensity interval training, and will generally focus on HIIT workouts for about a half an hour at a time.

Ana Zelu is a professional model and social media influencer. She is known for her content in nature. Zelu recently shared a post on Instagram of herself on a surfboard in the ocean. She captioned it, “Yesterday was such a fun shoot, I just had to share these with you 🤍 🛥️But picture number #4?? That photobomb totally got me 😂 Which picture is your favorite ?🌊”

She Swims

As you can see from her post, Zelu likes to swim. The Mayo Clinic states that swimming has a lot of benefits. “Swimming is often touted as a great workout for all ages, offering benefits not only for the body, but also for the mind. As a form of exercise, swimming keeps your heart rate up and builds muscle strength. It also can be a great form of stress relief.”

She Doesn't Compare Herself to Others

Zelu shares a lot of her thoughts on Instagram. In this post, she talked about no longer comparing herself to others. “Dear Diary 💭📝, Today’s contemplation led me to a profound understanding of the detrimental impact comparison has on our lives. It’s like a silent intruder, subtly creeping into our thoughts and poisoning our perception of ourselves and others. It’s a universal struggle, one that weighs heavily on the hearts of many. I’ve come to realize that comparison is the ultimate thief of joy. It robs us of our ability to appreciate our own journey and achievements, as we constantly measure ourselves against an idealized version of others. I’ve resolved to break free from its grasp. We should choose to celebrate our own unique path, recognizing that each step forward is a triumph in itself. Rather than fixating on external benchmarks set by others, I’m focusing on personal growth and development. Whether it’s through learning new skills, cultivating gratitude, or simply practicing self-compassion, every effort counts.”

She Hikes

Zelu is seen on a hike in the previous Instagram post. Harvard Health states that hiking is very beneficial. “Like brisk walking, hiking is a good way to improve your cardiovascular fitness, particularly if your route includes some hills, which will force your heart to work harder. Taking a hike on the slightly uneven surface of a trail also provides a natural way to engage the core muscles in your torso and to hone your balance skills.”

She’s Resilient

Resilience is another important thing to Zelu. She talked about this in the caption of this Instagram post. “Dear Diary 💭📝, I witnessed something truly remarkable that touched my heart deeply. It’s amazing how people can go through the toughest storms in life and yet remain gentle, patient, and kind. I saw someone who faced challenges that would break most people, yet they chose to respond with grace and humility. Their ability to stay calm and compassionate in the face of adversity is nothing short of admirable. It made me realize the beauty of resilience – the strength to keep going even when life throws its hardest punches. These individuals not only endure the storms but also emerge from them with a spirit that shines brighter than before. Their example reminds me of the power of kindness and the importance of staying true to oneself, even in the darkest of times. It’s a reminder that even in the midst of chaos, there is beauty to be found 💕🫶”

She’s Accepted Herself

Zelu talked about the importance of acceptance in this Instagram post’s caption. “Dear Diary 💭📝, Today has been a rollercoaster of emotions, but amidst it all, I feel like I’ve taken a step closer to the right direction. Letting go of the past is like shedding a heavy coat I’ve been carrying for far too long. It’s not easy to release the memories, the pain, the regrets, but today, I made a choice to loosen the grip they had on me. It’s like taking a deep breath after being underwater for too long—refreshing and liberating. Forgiving myself has been a journey filled with tears and moments of self-doubt. But today, I finally understood that I deserve the same forgiveness and understanding I give to others. It’s like giving myself a warm hug, wrapping myself in kindness and acceptance.”

Regular exercise and a healthy diet can bring many benefits, including more energy, happiness, health, and even a longer life. It's something we all know but we always make excuses for. So hopefully you can start moving your body little by little and eat a little better and obviously enjoy something delicious on the weekends 😋.”

Allina Health reports that squats are very beneficial to do. “The squat is one of the all-around best exercises to do for your lower body. It strengthens and tones muscles in your thighs, butt and calves and improves posture, balance, flexibility and inner core strength. Squatting also improves bone mineral density to keep your bones strong. Include squats in your exercise routine two to three days a week to reap the benefits from this dynamite move.”

Viciconte is also seen doing hip thrusts in her Instagram video. Gymless states that the exercise has a lot of health benefits. “Hip thrusts, as a compound movement, aid in increasing lower body strength and power, enhancing athletic abilities such as running, jumping, and powerlifting. By strengthening the posterior chain muscles, you can enhance your posture and lower the risk of back pain and muscle strain. Strong glutes and hamstrings contribute to hip and knee stability, minimizing injury risks in sports and daily life.”

Viciconte is seen using a stationary bike in the previous Instagram video. Doing this can help strengthen your muscles. Penn State PRO Wellness explained, “Riding a stationary bike can help build strength in your legs and lower body, especially if you use a higher resistance. The pedaling action can help strengthen your calves, hamstrings, and quadriceps. Additionally, it can work the muscles in your core, back, and glutes. If you use a bicycle with handles, you’ll also be able to work your upper body muscles, including your biceps, triceps, and shoulders.”

She Runs

Viciconte shared this Instagram video of herself working out. In it, she is seen doing running exercises. Viciconte captioned it, “When we exercise, our body releases endorphin, a natural substance produced by the brain during and after physical activity. The release of endorphin, also known as the 'joy hormone', helps you relax, reduces stress, anxiety and improves your mood. I always say that it's never too late to start moving, so you know that tomorrow you have no excuse 💪🏻”
