She Doesn't Count Calories or Pounds

Rhea, who lost a ton of weight in just six months, went live on her Instagram with her nutritionist Karishma Boolani to discuss her transformation. Her trainer pointed out that counting calories and pounds is a waste of time. "Human body is not a computer and does not work by numbers that go in and are burned. So we should not obsess over the numbers," she said, per Times of India.

2

She Did Keto

Rhea lost all the weight with a Ketogenic diet. The method of eating is a high fat, low carb diet. Her nutritionist refers to it as a lifestyle, not a diet plan. Keto is very restrictive, however, and a lot of people have trouble staying on it for the long haul.

She Avoids Sugar, Carbs, and Grains

Boolani also revealed that Rhea stays away from sugar and carbs, explaining that they are equally harmful as carbs eventually turn into sugar. She also stays away from grains. "Human beings are kind of allergic to grains because of all the hybridisation that has happened in the process," she claimed.

4

She Focuses on Diet Over Exercise

"It is primarily diet that determines how much weight you will lose. However, it is exercise that helps your overall health. So they both are somewhere extremely important," Boolani said, adding that diet plays 95 percent role in one's weight loss.

She Cooks Her Own Meals

Another way Rhea makes sure she eats healthy? She cooks her own meals. She shares a lot of her gourmet dishes on social media. When you cook your own food, you know exactly what you are eating. "People who prepare meals at home tend to consume significantly more fruits and vegetables, and less sugar and fat. People who enjoy meals at home with others, sitting together and conversing, also have reduced stress and higher life satisfaction," says Harvard Health.
