Romee Strijid, the Dutch model and former Victoria's Secret Angel, gave us a flashback to Switzerland this week. Even though it was cold, she still managed to spend time in a bathing suit. Strijid posted a new photo on Instagram of herself posing outside in blue swimwear, with the snow, trees, and mountains in the background. Strijid revealed in the caption that this place has a lot of meaning to her, writing, “Throwback to the place we got engaged.” (She's married to a model and consultant Laurens van Leeuwen.) How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Romee Strijid stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She’s Always Prepared

Strijid has an extremely busy schedule, and this means that it can be difficult to keep up with a healthy lifestyle. However, she is able to do so, and gave one of her biggest tips in an interview with Glamour. “I think the most important thing for women on-the-go is to be prepared,” she says. “I really like to prepare my day the night before if I know the next day is going to be hectic. Brussels sprouts and butternut roasted in the oven, paired with chicken and hummus is my favorite! I’ll also make sure to bring healthy snacks or make a lunch/dinner box if I am getting on a plane. I’m not a huge fan of airline food.”

2. She Switches Up Her Workouts

Strijid is in great shape, and she says that she likes to do a lot of different workouts to work on different things. “I’m always changing my workouts because I get bored so easily with the same routines,” she tells Glamour. “I like to do a mix of weight training/cardio and something that lengthens your muscles, like Pilates, yoga, or barre.”

3. She Loves To Box

Strijid loves to do cardio workouts as a way to stay in shape. However, her favorite type of cardio exercise is boxing. She tells Glamour, “My favorite cardio workout is definitely boxing so, when I'm not traveling, I go to Dogpound in NYC!”

4. She Packs Workout Gear When She Travels

Strijid is always on the road, which means it can be difficult for her to consistently exercise. However, she has a secret, which she tells Glamour. “When I am traveling, I like to pack a jump rope and ankle weights in my suitcase.”

5. She’s Cutting Out Meat

While Strijid isn’t a full-on vegetarian or vegan, she is reducing how much meat is in her diet. She says that she is incorporating a lot of veggies and grains into her diet as substitutes. “I've been trying to eat less meat, so for lunch I'll have a bowl of grains, salad, vegetables,” she says to ELLE. It's been something I've been trying to do—I think it has certain health benefits for me.”

Cry for every young woman, raped, abused and impregnated against her will, who will have to live with the consequences forever because a stranger said she should. A ... piece of steel has more rights than I do. This is an incredibly sad day. My stomach churns with revolt at what this country has become."

Millie Court is getting some sun! The Love Island star shows off her sensational figure in her latest Instagram post, wearing a yellow and orange swimsuit. “Vitamin sea,” she captioned the series of social media snaps. How does the reality star maintain her fabulous physique? Read on to see 6 ways Millie Court stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Was “Unhealthily Skinny” On Love Island

Following her debut on Love Island, Millie ended up gaining weight. Her followers accused her of being pregnant, and she responded by revealing that she was actually healthy. "[In] the weeks leading up to Love Island, I felt the need to lose several pounds because I knew I was going to be surrounded by beautiful, slim girls. I worked out every single day and ate salad for lunch and to tell you the truth I was miserable while doing it,” she said in a post. "I went from a size 10 to a six, and it’s the smallest I’ve ever been as a young adult. Because of my height, this made me look unhealthily skinny, of which I was (not eating barely anything, feeling ill all the time, tired, dizzy) and I remember looking at myself, I’d lost my ... curves I once had and I missed them."

2. She Embraces Her Body

ITV Palooza! 2021 - ArrivalsJeff Spicer/Getty Images

In the same post, Millie encouraged her millions of followers to love themselves. "We're all different shapes and sizes, each size perfect in our own way. But please don't get stuck to the beauty standard of 'perfection'," she said. "Loving our imperfections can be difficult, but when you learn to embrace them and realise that our imperfections don’t define us, they are just a part of us alongside everything that creates you as a person."

3. She Battled Acne

Pride Of Britain Awards 2021 - Red Carpet ArrivalsGareth Cattermole/Getty Images

Millie has also been open about her skin struggles. "I suffered from acne about a year and a half ago and then I started to work with a skin aesthetician, who helped me to find my skincare routine and helped me to start dealing with the breakouts. Now that my acne has gone, we are on more of a journey to find the right products; doing treatments like microneedling once a month to deal with the scarring. I am so happy with the outcome because the difference from what it was to now is just incredible,” she told Hello. “I genuinely used to think there was never going to be a time when I could get rid of the acne and I think when you are suffering you think it’s going to be with you forever. Don’t get me wrong, it isn’t an overnight process – it took me a year and a half to be acne free, but through a good skincare routine and using the right products it can be combated. My skin aesthetician advised me that the products you use to treat acne don’t start working for 4-6 months, so it took six months before I started to see a difference. The secret to good skin is also about good lifestyle, it’s all about looking after the inside to make your skin glow."

4. She Takes Baths

One way Millie prioritizes self-care? She takes baths. "Drowning my sorrows in the bath because my Met Gala invite got lost 💔…," she captioned this Instagram snap. Not only have hot baths been linked to better sleep and even found helpful to minimize anxiety and depression, but one recent study found that they may even boast cardiovascular benefits.

5. She Cheats

Millie might eat healthy most of the time, but she is always down for the occasional cheat meal. “Last stop in LA,” she captioned this photo of herself standing outside of SoCal’s famous In-N-Out Burger.

6. She Hikes

Want to get into shape like Millie? Take a hike! “Obligatory Hollywood sign pic wearing all @puma,” she captioned this snap from one of her excursions.

1. She Has Learned to Love Herself

“HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMENS DAY ✨ Today is a day where we can celebrate us. I have so many women in my life who inspire me every day and I wanted to give a little something today that can hopefully inspire one of you. Loving our imperfections can be difficult, but when you learn to embrace them and realise that our imperfections don’t define us, they are just a part of us alongside everything else that creates you as a person. None of us are the same, and that’s a special thing. We are one of a kind 🤍 This picture shows me at my most vulnerable… but I’m learning to love myself, imperfections and all. And so should you,” she wrote once.

2. She Was Once “Unhealthily Skinny”

"I went from a size 10 to a six, and it’s the smallest I’ve ever been as a young adult. Because of my height, this made me look unhealthily skinny, of which I was (not eating barely anything, feeling ill all the time, tired, dizzy) and I remember looking at myself, I’d lost my boobs and my bum and those curves I once had and I missed them,” she wrote on Instagram. "The point of this [is], since coming out of Love Island, I found my love for food again and yes I’m getting back to my usual size."

3. She Likes a Nice Bath

“Drowning my sorrows in the bath because my Met Gala invite got lost 💔…,” she captioned one recent photo. Consider adding Epsom salt. “Pour about 300 grams (1.25 cups) of Epsom salt into a clean bathtub as it fills with hot water. (Avoid using Epsom salt in a tub with jets, a hot tub or a whirlpool bath unless the manufacturer says it’s OK.),” says the Cleveland Clinic.

4. This is Her Skin Icon

"At the moment the make-up I use does change fairly often, not necessarily my staples like concealer and foundation, but I do switch up the bronzers, blushers and mascara that I use,” she has said. Her icon? "Meghan Markle, her skin is absolutely flawless – her make-up always looks lovely as her make-up always looks lovely and natural."

5. She Has Had Acne

“I suffered from acne about a year and a half ago and then I started to work with a skin aesthetician, who helped me to find my skincare routine and helped me to start dealing with the breakouts. 2. She Did A Lot Of Intense Sessions

Before appearing on Love Island, Hague decided to get in shape. She changed her diet and did a lot of sessions with her personal trainer, Connor O’Brian. In 2019, O’Brian opened up about Hague’s process to Liverpool Echo, "We did a lot of sessions in a short time frame and devised a diet plan after body fat testing so that it suited what it was she needed. It was only about two weeks we had, but we worked on getting her the body that she wanted."

3. She Calls Out Trolls and Body Shamers

Hague unfortunately has had to deal with a lot of trolls, body shamers, and people making assumptions about her weight. She was trolled after a series of photos were posted on the Internet. Hague wasn’t afraid of calling the trolls out. She wrote in a Tweet, "I would genuinely love to know who writes these comments? Like how can you actually write" stuff "like that and sleep at night? Beyond me."

4. She’s Honest

Hague is extremely honest with her followers and her fans, and she isn’t afraid to let people know what she is currently struggling with. In one of her vlogs, Hague opened up about her mental health struggles, particularly when it comes to eating healthy and working out. “I’d be lying if I said that more than ever at the moment I feel the pressure so much with my body and just a battle within my own mind,” she began. “I wake up everyday thinking ‘I know I need to exercise today, I know I need to eat clean today, I’ve got a shoot in two weeks’. And most of the time I just don’t want to, that’s the complete truth.”

5. She Learned About Portion Sizes

Pride Of Britain Awards 2021 - Red Carpet ArrivalsGareth Cattermole/Getty Images

In a way to get herself to eat healthier, Hague revealed in a vlog that she decided to learn about portion sizes. She took her subscribers through what she eats on this plan, and what the healthy portion is. She explained, “For breakfast I'm going to be having some cereal. I've been having the same breakfast for the last month. It is 30 grams of Coco Pops – an exciting breakfast. That's like a normal portion, guys. I must have been having about 300 grams before I knew 30 grams was a normal portion.”

Emily Elizabeth is heating up Hawaii – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post the model and influencer shows off her amazing figure in a two-piece while on the beaches of the tropical paradise. “Hawaii >> 🌺🌈,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. “Simply Beautiful ❤️🏖❤,” commented one of her followers. “🔥😍perfect,” added another. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Hydration

Emily prioritizes hydration. Not only does she drink water, but also electrolyte enhanced fruit. “Fresh coconut,” she captioned a photo from Bora Bora. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

Coffee

Emily enjoys the perks of caffeine. Here she is drinking a cup of coffee. According to the Cleveland Clinic, there are several benefits of drinking coffee in moderation. “It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function,” they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.

Snowboarding

While you can usually find Emily in the tropics, sometimes she heads over to the mountains for winter sports. In one of her photos she goes snowboarding. According to the University of Rochester, snowboarding, like skiing, is a great cardiovascular workout. “Because they are also weight-bearing exercises, they strengthen your bones as they tone your muscles,” they say. “Cardiovascular or aerobic exercises also work to reduce your risk for chronic diseases, and lower blood pressure. They also help you maintain a healthy body weight. Through regular aerobic exercise like skiing and snowboarding, you lower your risk of developing conditions like diabetes and heart disease, having a stroke, and perhaps even getting cancer.”

Snorkeling

While on vacation Emily throws on a mask and fin and goes snorkeling. Surprisingly, putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.

Walking

She also takes her dog for walks. Here she is strolling in Central Park with her pooch. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer in terms of exercise, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day led to a reduced risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Emma McQuaid is prepping for her CrossFit competition – in her two-piece workout gear. In a new social media post the athlete flaunts her amazing figure in a two-piece exercise set while training. “8 weeks to my first Hyrox Sim 🏃♀️Looking forward to upping my run volume over the next 2 months to see how I can fair out before entering my first proper race later in the year. It’s no secret I don’t really enjoy running, I never have but I’m excited to see if I can turn that around this year,” she captioned the Instagram photos. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

She Is Consistent

If you want to improve your Olympics lifts, Emma suggests maintaining consistency. “Be consistent in your training, it’s vital you continually train all the lifts, not just the ones you like. I used to hate the full snatch and always power snatched everything. Recently though its become the opposite, I love full snatch and need to focus again on my power snatch. Always attack your weaknesses,” she told Boxrox.

Focus on Mobility

When it comes to improving gymnastic skills, Emma says to focus on mobility. “Sometimes is not just learning the skill, it’s having the mobility to be able to do it. I have struggled with handstand walks for over a year now and have practised more than people realise, but recently found out it’s my thoracic and shoulder mobility holding me back. So I have worked on my mobility and I’ve already seen improvements in my handstand walks. I’d also say people need to work the basics more, develop a strong foundation to build the high level movements on,” Emma told Boxrox.

Hydration

Drinking enough water and getting rest is an important component of health. “Eat healthy, drink plenty of water and sleep well is a good recipe for success,” she told Coach Web. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

Meal Prep

While Emma doesn’t meal prep, she has her food prepared for her. “All my food is supplied from a local company called Fuel Farm. I usually eat 4-5 times a day. Just depends what my training volume is like that day, I also live on Battle Oats bars between sessions, a great snack that keeps me going and doesn’t fill me up,” she says.

Balanced Diet

Healthy,And,Unhealthy,Food,Background,From,Fruits,And,Vegetables,VsShutterstock

Emma maintains a balanced diet. “I personally think a lot of athletes in CrossFit under eat. Avoiding carbs or limiting them isn’t a good idea when you train at high intensity. I eat some junk everyday because I find it helps my performance, a 6 pack isn’t going to help me win so it doesn’t bother me, fuelling my body and maintaining the intensity in training is what will help me win. I’ve focused on timing my intake of sugar and it’s only made me better,” she told Boxrox.

Krissy Cela in Two-Piece Workout Gear Shares "8 Weeks of Lifting"
Getty images

Krissy Cela is a fitness trainer on the Evolve You app and influencer. Recently, she has been documenting her process of losing pregnancy weight on Instagram. In a recent post, Cela revealed that she had been consistently weight training. She captioned it, “8 weeks of lifting, not depriving, recovering and sticking to an actual PLAN! Not doing random workouts. All my programs are on the @evolveyou app. I'm currently on the strong program and absolutely loving it! But there are home workouts too. Use code KRISSY for money off! (own brand).”

She Strength Trains

Cela strength trains to keep herself in shape. ACE Fitness says that this has a lot of benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

She’s Consistent

Cela revealed in the caption of her Instagram post that she made sure to be consistent with her wellness. “So yeah… just keep lifting some heavy iron, don’t really listen to people who tell you not to unless you have an injury of some sort. Eat your fats, carbs and protein and get your steps in. Keep it simple and remember a cute gym set will make you lift heavier 😂Proud of myself because it really wasn’t easy showing up daily ngl.”

She Accepts Herself

Cela talked about her journey to accept herself in the caption of this Instagram post. “When I was growing up, all I ever wanted was to be pretty. I hated the way I looked and felt out of place, especially as the only girl in school with upper lip hair and a foreign background. I resented that my Albanian parents imposed cultural norms that limited what I could wear and how I could express myself. Now, in my 30s, I’ve learned to embrace my roots while also appreciating the many unique qualities I bring to the table that go beyond mere appearances. I didn’t realize how much being creative, strong, and loving would mean to me. I didn’t understand the true value of these qualities until now.”

She Works Her Lower Body

Cela shared some of her favorite lower body workouts in this Instagram post. She captioned it, “This mammaaa is putting in the work! Loving it so much moving my body and building my strength all over again 💅🏽All workout programs are from the @evolveyou app so if you’re stuck on where to start I really think you should just come and join the party and see what the fuss is all about. (Own brand). Workout: 1. KB RDL: 4 sets till failure 2. BB Reverse lunges: 4 sets 8 reps each leg 3. Hip work: need it my hips are tight: 4 sets each leg 8 reps (great to warm up also) 4. Static lunge: 4 sets 12 reps each leg 5. Also did hip thrust forgot to record 4 sets till failure.”

She Walks

Another thing that Cela does to keep herself in shape is go for walks. She shares a lot of posts on Instagram of herself doing so. Cela shared this set of photos of herself hiking with her dog and partner. She captioned the post, “Postpartum walks! Taking it easy and feeling good! Ad/ Supported by @promix electrolytes in watermelon flavour 💅🏽Set from @oneractive launching 12th December.”
