1. She Avoid Salty Foods Before Certain Shoots
Roselyn has said salted food “swells you” so she avoids it before certain shoots. “If you're like most people in the U.S., you're getting far more sodium than is recommended. And that could lead to serious health problems. Consider that 1 teaspoon of table salt, which is a combination of sodium and chloride, has 2,325 milligrams (mg) of sodium. That's slightly more than the daily limit of 2,300 mg recommended by health experts,” says the Mayo Clinic. “Eat more fresh foods. Most fresh fruits and vegetables are naturally low in sodium.”
2. She Lives Cleanly
“I changed my eating habits completely,” she told Eva Longoria in Hola. “I don't smoke. I don't drink and I've never done it.” As a woman nearing 50, “I'm still in this business. People have a perception, a view, of how you need to look. And it's a lot of pressure. I became a mother so late in life, you know, I had Sebella at 38, Dylan at 44. I want to be as healthy as possible for as long as possible.”
3. She is Motivated to Exercise

“I stay fit with exercise and take care of my health. This has always come naturally to me and it’s been part of my life without even thinking about it, but now I feel that it’s become a duty. Now it’s not about exercising because I like it, I tell myself, ‘Roselyn, you do this because when your boy turns 30 and gets married, you have to be there,’” she told Hola. “Are you hoping to lose weight? Boost your energy? Sleep better? Manage a chronic condition? Write down your goals. Seeing the benefits of regular exercise and writing your goals down on paper may help you stay motivated,” says the Mayo Clinic.
4. She Uses Keratin in Her Hair

“My hair is naturally very curly,” she told Page Six, which asked how she kept her hair so straight and shiny during a New Year’s Eve Broadcast. “So this is all keratin and a good blow dry from my hair guy. I always say I have very talented hair: I can have it straight, I can have it curly, I can have it all.” She was broadcasting from Puerto Rico. “I’m so lucky and so blessed,” Sanchez said of her historic gig. “I love my island; people [here] have known me working on TV since I was 19 years old … they follow my career and they support it. So I’m not going to do them wrong.”
5. She’s Doing it For Her Kids

Roselyn’s life is “a constant negotiation when it comes to the family and the husband,” who also works as an actor, she told Longoria in Hola. “This is like my second stage, the second stage of my life and my career, I have my career pre-kids and now is post. And it has given me even more desire to work. It's weird because I do get that mommy guilt, like Ella has a special function at school and I'm not available because I'm working on set. Am I making a mistake? I talk to her a lot. And I say, I do this for you. I wanna give you the best education possible. I try to talk to her every single week. So she understands."
